MOOSEJAW INN

This hotel is old needs a lot of upgrades. The rooms smell, far from clean, chicken bones on the floor under the coach when I moved the coach to use the plug in. Top of the fridge was sticky and filthy the oven burners were broken or didn’t work. The room wasn't cleaned daily it was cleaned every 2 or 3 days had to get my own towels if I needed ones. Breakfast was bare and you ate breakfast in the pool entrence with the bathrooms and the sauna right behind you. There is no deal here and I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone. I moved out and will never go back.

We should have looked at the reviews before booking on line. All the negative comments are pretty accurate- the rooms are dirty, especially bathroom, very, very unpleasant sight. Things are broken or missing. When addressing the problem with the owner, we heard- just shut up and leave.
Stay away, this place is a dump.

Stayed here 1 night in April. Place gave us the creeps, we were the only ones checked in. Room was basic, dated and dingy. Would not recommend staying in this hotel. Definately creepy.

Not sure what all these babies are crying about. Our room was clean. No smell.check in was friendly. AC was working nicely. The only downfall was the shower sucked.

The rooms were dated but very comfortable! We loved the pool and atmosphere. We will definitely be coming back!

As soon as I opened the door to my room, I was hit with an overwhelming smell. It stung my nostrils. We tried opening the window, spray air freshener and lighting candles. The smell never got better. The stains.there are stains everywhere. The beds, the floor, the lamp shades. The mattresses are way to soft! And the linens looked dirty so I did not sleep in the bed, rather on top of the bed. When I went to wash my hands in the skin, the smell from the water made me gag.
I'm really grateful we only had to stay one night.

DO NOT RECCOMEND.this place needs to be closed down for health and safety reasons.the staff get very rude and defensive when you try to address problems with your room like not having toilet paper for three days.mold in the rooms.everything is broken and the beds are disgusting.take your money elsewhere!

Really unhappy with staff, very unprofessional. Booked a room to celebrate my daughter’s birthday at her request. The hotel called back the following day and said they couldn’t accommodate a birthday party but offered us a less desirable room. When asked why we couldn’t have the room we asked for, the answer was about extra people using the pool area. Keep in mind, both rooms are in the same area of the hotel. We offered to pay an additional pool fee if available. They then said that due to health guidelines we couldn’t order supper in and eat together. When I tried to ask a further question, the employee hung up on me. Needless to say, our usual winter tradition will now need to be booked with another hotel.

Very outdated and needs an upgrade. Leaky faucet, hole in the ceiling stuffed with kleenex, stained furniture and a musty smell was the worst of it. We inspected the linens and towels and it all seemed clean thankfully. Definitely didn't sleep well though knowing how poor the upkeep was.

DO NOT BOOK HERE. As soon as we stepped into our room we could see it was quite dated which would’ve been fine if the room was remotely clean. There were marks all over the walls, stains and hair on the sheets and lamp shades and holes in the sheets. There was no fitted sheet on the mattress. Just 2 flat ones not even tucked in. The microwave had splatters of who knows what in it. When we attempted to use the hot tub, it was scalding and unusable. Eating the complimentary breakfast was also not going to happen. The toast wasn’t toasted, the bacon was burnt to a crisp and the hasbrowns were like warm at best. Save yourself the hassle and book at a Days inn or something else down the street.

Omg it's a dive! Smells really bad. Dark and dingy. Only lamps work. I paid close 140 for 2 beds n dog. Made sure we have breakfast. When got here was told breakfast is canceled ughhh. Very disappointed!

The room was small and smelled bad. The bed was lumpy and too soft. The shower had poor water pressure. The room in general did not feel clean. It was very old and run down. The fridge smelled rotten. We asked to change rooms but were told that wasn't possible although it looked like there were lots available. Only stayed because it was late and we pre-paid. Didn't want to take a chance on the food given the cleanliness of the room. Very over-priced alcohol

Amazing service. Suites are clean and well equipped. Breakfast is included and let me tell you - it is delicious. We will come again!

This place Frickin rules. Anyone that doesn’t like it sucks and doesn’t know what they’re doing. After riding motorcycle for 8 hours this place was absolutely perfect. I’ll say it one time and one time only. This place knows how to giver.

We are traveling from Ontario and stopped here last night (July 9), up until this point our rooms were clean and nice. The Moose Jaw Inn is absolutely disgusting and filthy. We had to stay as nothing else was available. I was not one bit impressed. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

The service at the front where very nice, and easy going. I found the rooms would be needing an update. Aside from that, they can provide much needed rest, if passing through.

It’s dirty and there is a smell in this hotel that is nasty. The pool needs to be cleaned.
It was a last minute reservation through Hotel.com. I would not recommend them either.

If I could give a zero star I would do so. The owner was incredibly rude and did not even end up letting me stay there due to not excepting a third party credit card. I booked it through Expedia who was very helpful in the return of the amount in which the room would have cost. Do not book a hotel room at the moose jaw inn. Worst hotel experience ever.

Motel is older but management will do anything to make you comfortable. The staff are very personable and helpful. A very convenient location with a swimming pool, hot tub and sauna. The office has snacks and drinks for your convenience. The restaurant isn't open due to COVID but not very far for restaurants. Have stayed here for 2 years and would stay again. Prices very reasonable.

Disgusting, dated, and in need of repairs! Do not recommend. Washing machines broken, no included breakfast as advertised, sauna is broken, room was clearly not cleaned well.

Beautiful place to stay! We started to second guess because of such mixed reviews but I’m glad we came. Amazing pool area …heated pool. Great hot tub! Yes the rooms could use some updating but we found the beds comfortable and nice big tv. Staff are very kind and rooms are very clean. Would recommend 100%

This place was terrible, out room was not vacuumed, Garbage that we did not throw out was in the room when we arrived to the inn. I was not impressed at all. Seemed like no housekeeper on staff.

Great location off highway and close to amenities.
Pool is heated, hot tub is nice and hot.

Overall great place to spend a night or more.

Stayed the night of October 9,2021. The room was not clean, I odour of insecticide in the room, contained worn out furniture, the towels were so worn that they they were thoroughly wet after drying off after a shower. No complimentary breakfast despite advertised, blamed on Covid (while other accommodations served complimentary breakfasts), staff were unconcerned.

He woke us up and I went to front desk to complain the owner said it was him doing a wake up call but knocked on the wrong room.
So why did you say housekeeping!
Then I heard him go up and down the hall banging on everyone door.
He was trying to get us out of there obviously.
Never again so disappointed and extremely tired I work well into the evening and was hoping for rest

Called and booked room, guy told us we could check in at 1pm. Arrived at 1pm and walked in saying we were checking in. He told us there were no rooms and kicked us out with no explanation. Save yourself the headache.

DO NOT STAY HERE! Dirty everything. Falling apart. Got trapped in the bathroom because the doorknob was broken. $100 a night for essentially garbage. Rude and uncaring staff who’s work uniform is apparently pajamas. Awful awful awful. DO NOT STAY HERE! Checked out immediately and went to days inn down the road. (Go to days inn. Way cleaner and just as cheap.) f the Moose Jaw inn. Called health and safety on them!

0 stars! This Inn was so old, dirty, and downright disgusting, stains everywhere, terrible repair jobs. The managers attire does not show proffessionalism and their customer service was terrible. We checked in, and went to our room, and immediately tried to leave. Had to pay for 1 night. Not worth 90$ a night. I would expect more for this price. I would barely pay $50/night for this place.

Nice rooms, clean and comfortable. Super quiet even being next to the highway. Owners and family very nice and helpful when we moved in. Excellent pool and hot tub.

A true S**T hole. A dive in every sense of the word. All the rooms needed a complete gut and Reno 20 years ago and didn't get it. We are talking lights not working, plugs that won't hold a charger in them, vanity top cracked in half, tongue and groove paneling on the walls, bed sheets pillows and linens that should have been tossed 10 years ago. Carpet buckling. The only modern thing in this place was the flat screen tv, and the keyless door locks. A total dump for the price. I should have stayed at the super 8 down the road for the same price. Never consider staying here!

Now known as "Moose Jaw Inn". Good value for a quick stay. Rolled into the hotel after 2am, and was looking for a cheap place to crash for the night. Comfortable bed, but overall cleanliness was lacking. Photos on Expedia tend to emphasise / exaggerate the positive aspects of the property. For $60 a night, cannot expect more than received.

Moosejaw biggest dissappointment.after being lucky at the casino I wanted to spoil myself and my man with a night away from home and spend some much needed alone time away from the hustle and grind of life and just relax for a night in a hotel right here in Moosejaw where I have been living for the past 8 months.since it was a spontanious decision we happened to pull I here just because it was conveniently right there on our way home to my place.we saw it had a pool and knew that it wasn't gonna be the spa or anything super fancy but would be just fine for our romantic "campout " the staff was quite rude and because I had a moosejaw address assumed that I was just coming to party in their hotel and then thru the entire overnight treated us as such.except we never even had more than a food delivery to our room and left thr room cleaner than it was rented to us! I tried to explain to the owner how rude he was being to us and completely unwarranted too.and told him I was trying to give him advice so he can provide better service in future.he told me that he didn't want to hear anything I had to say because what do I know; I'm a dirty infidel woman! And my partner probably a drunk (because he was aboriginal) and he wanted us to leave first thing next morning and he wanted to check our room before we left to make sure everything was good before we'd get our deposit back. I was flabbergasted.like, we are in our 30s we know how a deposit works.the fact that he made a point of saying that before we even had been to our room yet was so judgmental and rude.this place just gave me ugly feelings on so many levels.definatly rook away from our high spirits we had when we arrived and we're giving their business our $$$ if I had the option I wouldn't have even given one star

So comfortable bed, coffee free, wifi, hot shower, big TV, easy to do a deal with owner. I really love it here.

Needs upgrades, shower leaking, sink counter was broken, no were to hang clothes or jackets! Really good thing we were tired!

No longer is this place called the Knights Inn it is now called moose jaw Inn. Owner Sam is very friendly.

Found it to be satisfactory with a clean room and great beds. Also a good location for people getting back on the trans-Canada heading east or west.

I booked through expedia, but they didnt let me check in or give me a refund. They just kept my money and said it was my fault.

I loved the hot tub here and the rooms were very clean. Also has free breakfast in the check-in area.

We checked in and it was terrible. The front desk was rude, and the whole building smelt like formaldehyde. My baby got sick and been coughing. I tried talking to the front desk but dis not do me any better. She said that the manager isn't in. I left the hotel and booked somewhere else.

It was so not clean. There was blood on my sheets as if they hadn’t been changed from previous person! When I told the front desk, she said sorry but didn’t do anything about it. When we wanted to check out, no one was in the office and when called they said didn’t they tell you checkout was at 7: 30? It’s a hotel, I check out when I want! If you don’t want to pay someone to be in the office at all hours, don’t operate a hotel!

Older motel, but thoughtful upgrades. TV was huge and new, mattresses were new. Pool was warm and refreshing. So nice that they host pets in specific rooms. Made travelling with our dog very easy.

We came to Moose Jaw for my daughter's birthday on our first night there we where waken up in the middle of the night with a mouse running across my daughter's bed in our kitchenette room. The hide-a-bed was horrible, the water in showers we unstable freezing cold to boiling hot. When I requested a return or discounts it was refused based on the fact they leave doors open and are not responsible for what comes in. Up keep is horrible I was afraid to eat at thier breakfast I recommend staying somewhere else. We left Moose Jaw two days earlier then planned. Vey disappointed

In my trip across Canada, this was easily the worst motel I have stayed at. There was no indication of any upkeep or regular cleaning taking place here. The sheets on the bed were dirty, the bathroom was appalling and the carpets were stained and not vacuumed. When I flicked on the lights in the bathroom, bugs scurried into the filthy bathtub and beneath the scummy toilet. The kitchenette was a virtual joke of ancient junk. I used the bathroom at a nearby restaurant and slept on the cover of the bed, bolting out at 4am as fast as I could. I loved the cigarette burns on the sink. I have posted some nasty pics.disgusting!
