A must-stop experience. Amazing food & variety, craft beers, and plates (yes, plates). It gets busy at lunch so be prepared for a wait, tho.

What a gem! Really enjoyed eating here, such a varied menu of tasty and unique foods. Generous servings. Excellent caesar salad, mac and cheese, steam buns, beef brisket. Loved our server, Meghan, who was very helpful and friendly. This is a great place to dine in Swift Current. Thank you!

It was such a cool place. Very unique and nice to know that the foods are coming from local places.

Excellent food. Nice higher end dining, in a small city. Price was ok. A must stop for the traveling foodie, or nice quiet place for meeting friends.

I had a chicken steam bun appetizer, which was to die for tender and just full of flavour. For dinner I had the chicken pot pie. This was just a wonderful culinary experience. All of the food was so flavourful and so well presented. The wine was a House Cabernet and my husband had a craft beer coupled with the roasted tomato soup appetizer, and the chicken pot pie, we would definitely come again we were from out of town and we heard about the restaurant from our friends in Calgary who were passing through Swift Current and spending the night. It’s well worth the money fine dining and fabulous food.

We stopped in here for lunch with my kids on the way through. Food was amazing and service was great. 10/10

Delicious food! Between my partner, myself and our three childs, we had the Korean fried chicken sammy, a burger, two BLTs and a soup. The sides were excellent, the waitress was able to give a clear breakdown of gluten-free options and what can't be substituted, friendly, polite and efficient, plus it's in a very central location with lots of free parking. Will DEFINITELY go back and would highly recommend it to anyone from in or out of town!

This place is so good that it made up for the five hours of boredom driving from calgary.fast and attentive service and such good food.such a great gem and a must stop if you’re passing through!

Just. WOW. Had an amazing meal tonight, a little meal of pickles, pork and beans and tofu and cinnamon toast. This menu selection was incredible! Thanks to Shawn and his team for an amazing evening

Derek made an amazing meal for an at home anniversary party and it was spectacular. He was very professional and accommodating. The pumpkin soup was superb! Highly recommend them.

What a lovely experience! The food was fantastic. We had the pork belly buns, the daily special and the chicken and waffles. Everything was well presented and tasted fresh and flavourful. The service was amazing and friendly. Well done! We will be back!

We found our way to this local gem on a referral and what a fantastic experience! We both got the burger and I can tell you it was the BEST I’ve ever had, bar none! Everything was great, including the service. Meghan, you are lovely and a wonderful server/hostess. Thanks to you and the chef/owner for such a great afternoon. We will be back (from Saskatoon).

Visited for the first time when I was visiting Swift Current. Ordered the Korean fried chicken sandwich and it was amazing. Get their drunken fries - yum! I highly recommended this place if you find yourself in Swift Current.

A truly awesome experience, and not an expected one in Swift Current!
If you're driving by, or just a local, it's a must do!

The menu is very good, and they have rotating lunch specials that comes with a soup and salad. It changes on a weekly basis, so one can expect some variety with the locally sourced ingredients.

We had the bruschetta and hummus tartine sandwich, and it made for a great pairing! Tasted amazing. The soup and salad that came with the dish also paired quite well.

There are other consistent options on the menu (like a Korean Fried Chicken Sandwich) which look great, and they use a potato roll instead, which looks extremely delicious!

The interior of the restaurant is very cool, and feels relaxed and comfortable (like you'd expect at a diner) but also very sharp and clean at the same time.

Worst part about the restaurant is that it's located far away from me! Will absolutely come back if I'm ever in the area, as the daily specials look to be very good as well!

While the menu does not indicate any halal meat, I believe it is good option for people looking for a sit-down experience given the great vegetarian options.

During my 3rd visit to Nightjar, six of us all had excellent meals. The standout seemed to be the ribs, but everyone enjoyed their food.

Myself, I had the chicken and waffles and it was delicious. The flavours were well done. Often chicken and waffles can be overly sweet, but that was bit the case with this dish; it was balanced. My only (very small) change request is that I'd prefer to see the waffles more crispy, but they were not soggy and I just like crispy waffles.

The beverages were also crafted well and enjoyed by everyone at the table. I had the Spaghetti Western and enjoyed it. It tastes like a take on a Morgenthaler Amaretto Sour with the addition of Peychaud's and uses honey instead of syrup. It was nice to see egg whites used well (good froth, nice balance, again) and Peychaud's is a perfect choice for the drink (IMO, Peychaud's can overpower a drink if not used cautiously). If you appreciate adult beverages, Nightjar never disappoints.

Overall, our Nightjar visit was a great experience.

5star. Came here with friends and shared a few plates. The flavours of every dish were incredible. The ribs were my favourite, they melted like butter and the bbq sauce was heavenly.

I would give this place 10 stars if I could! They went above an beyond and even made a custom vegetarian main for me. The service was amazing and the food to die for. Very accommodating, great ambience and awesome service. Will definitely go back again.

Having eaten here many, many times since they’ve opened I have never had anything but an amazing meal. Their all-day breakfasts change frequently as do their lunch features and it is always something unique and very delicious.

Small menu, but don't be fooled. The food and drink are exceptional. Swift Current's most savory eating establishment.

Great place to eat. Swift Current has needed a place like this. Food was excellent. Loved the fried pie.

Had a great lunch here a few weeks ago. Food was better than I expected - gourmet but not anything too unfamiliar. Great meal for the price (lunch soup and sandwich was $11). Portions definitely aren’t huge so if you base a restaurant solely on that, like many do, you may leave disappointed.

Wow! What a great experience. Staff were lovely. Chefs took pride in their work and delivered beautiful meals. Price was very reasonable for a special night out. I love the forever changing menu based on what is available or in season. They also are concious of the environmental impact that the industry can have and have taken basic steps to do their part. LOVE IT. Will definitely be back to see the new menu items! Ps: SAVE ROOM FOR DESSERT AND DO TRY THE PICKLE PLATE.

Wow. Great quality food, excellent atmosphere, and friendly service. I wouldn't try the barking antelope and they should have wine glasses.

Interesting place! I enjoyed the burger, it does something different and succeeds. I will visit every time I am in town.

Bad service. Everyones plate came out at different times. Didnt ask for drink refills. Food was very mediocre for the price. Drink portions are tiny for how expensive they are.

This is exactly what Swift Current needed, no more driving hours out of town to go to a fine dining establishment. Perfect location down town, unique but not intimidating menu with very fair prices for such great food. The menu has something for everyone and has many options for dietary restrictions and preferences such as vegetarian options. The menu also features many local stores ingredients and products so you know where your ingredients are coming from. The drink menu is perfect with tons of options and is the perfect place to go and chill with friends for an evening. The lighting and atmosphere make it a warm and welcoming place, it is definitely one of my favourite restaurants Swift Current has to offer and I would recommend it to anyone.

The food was good but the place could use some work. Service was mediocre, drinks left empty for a while, and items forgetting to be brought to the table after requested when it wasn't busy. Ambience could defintley be improved as the walls are totally blank. A good place for Swift Current but still needs some improvements.

Finally a very unique restaurant in Swift Current! An experience you remember. Food and drinks are fancy/different. Portions aren’t grotesque in size. Food is served on retro china. Shaun made me a custom dessert due to my lactose allergy, it was amazing! Support local business and give it a try:)

Refreshing welcome to the restaurant scene in Swift Current. The menu is served on a variety of old China patterns. Nice touch along with the jars to drink out of. Great service. Great food. My burger was a welcome twist on an old standard. Homemade bacon jam, Wow, and a variety of homemade pickles to try. It’s a must experience! Congratulations on your opening.

This is a great place to have in Swift! Unique food that tastes great. I love the eclectic collection of dinnerware and the inside of the restaurant is very nicely done.

I had the all day breakfast and it was phenomenal! The people I went with loved the burger. The fries were really good - shoestring style. You have to try the pickled watermelon rind - so good! The s'more dessert and diner pie for dessert were really delicious.

Ignore the bad reviews. People complaining about cutlery not matching is ridiculous. Support a new local business and have a fantastic meal at Nightjar!

Maybe we hit a bad day. Went for lunch. 2 burgers 2 fries. Drank water. 46 dollars. Portions are kids menu sizes. Fries like eating small rocks. Expected more from all the hype. I’ll try it once more but they really need to step it up. Not even a picture on the wall. 5 star prices with 2 star food.

Really enjoyed my experience! Got to try things I’ve never tried before - the pickled watermelon was really interesting. I got the prairie bowl and it was delicious! Wonderful atmosphere and great service. So cool to see something like this in Swift Current!
