OK Tire

Although I’m long time customer, this is my last time going to this location. I recently took the vehicle in for tires and a few hours later received a call they that they did unannounced “courtesy check” and that the vehicle needed a new air filter. This was odd as I had changed it less than 6 months ago. I refused the service. Once I got the vehicle home I opened the hood to find the moulding over the air filter had not been replaced and was left teetering on the vent. On an Audi that’s probably a $500 replacement part. Luckily it had not fallen off on the ride home. I also double checked the air filter and it was fine - no where close to needing replacement. To top it off less than a week later I noticed the centre cap on the front tire was missing - obviously not reinstalled properly. Lots of red flags when things are left to fall off after refusing an unneeded upsell.

Whenever I need some help with my car that I can't do myself I go to OK Tire. As a customer I feel treated like family, the job is always well done with a reasonable price. The team there is very friendly and Dustin is super easy to talk to.

I got flat tire in a very cold early morning and I had to go to work and I did not have a lot of time. I was so nervous and frustrated! I went to OK tire and they get the job done in real no time. Kelly gave me peace of mind which really meant alot to me.
The service is exceptional and perfect. Also they are highly courteous, polite and welcoming.
I would give them 10 stars if I could!

Niece from Calgary had just arrived to Saskatoon for a visit. Noticed an issue with one of the tires. Considering that it was a friday, we had difficulty in finding a tire shop to do a repair. But not Ok Tire. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The front staff, Kelly Sage, was superb in handling her issues with the tire and in a timely manner. Definitely will be going back for my own tire purchases in the future.

I had just pulled into the city and my tire light came on. I stopped by the shop and they checked the tires and filled them up and had me on my way. Very friendly and nice to deal with.

This place ROCKS!

Took my vehicle in for an oil change at another place and they let me know that I had something going on that probably needed to be checked out by a mechanic. I took my car to ok tire and they let me know that it wasn’t an issue that I needed to have fixed right there and then, he explained to me what was happening and that it’s not a critical issue, he told me to save my money. I was so just impressed with their honesty, most places will tell you that you need to fix it right away plus add stuff to be fixed. I highly recommend this place, so kind and caring

Great shop! Staff is super knowledgeable and helpful, will definitely be back to buy my next set of tires. I went in because of a flat and they were able to patch it, and it's held up incredibly. Also had the oil changed and it was all much less expensive than I had thought it would be!

Awesome experience. Team went above and beyond to make sure I was on the road safe. Informed me before any work was done and made sure I knew what had to be taken care of today and what I had time to decide on. Great service!

I have been driving across Canada from Vancouver to Toronto and I discovered I had a flat tire from a nail embedded in the rubber. Kelly was a complete gentleman and was able to get me in right away. Once I had the vehicle towed to their facility, they repaired the tire within an hour and Kelly couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating. He took what I thought was going to be a nightmare situation and put me at complete ease. Thank you so much for your help, your professionalism, and, especially, your kind heart.

I got great winter tire deals here and the front person was very welcoming. I had to refer another person to get her winter tires here because of the good deal and they treat every customer specially. They are also flexible with their prices and give you discounts by working a fair price that brings smile to the customer's face. Nice place.

Very timely with their work and priced fairly. I would recommend them and will be a returning customer.

I took a flat tire in to be fixed it cost me 40.00 I think that is an outrageous price! And get this they didn't even change the tire I had to take the fixed tire home in the backseat of my car. Kelly said to me we can put it on for an extra 10 oh no we can't everyone's gone.
They had all day to fix one tire poor bad service

Terrible customer service. The guy working the phones, probably the manager took like 6 calls while I stood in front of him waiting for him, not one word of apology or acknowledgement that I was there. He just ignored me till he was done with all of his calls.and they are not particularly quick either. Mr Libe gives better service for the same price.

Had a low tire today and the crew at Ok Tire went out of their way to help us out. It was -30 and they worked on tire outside.

-38 degrees and our tires were flat and the staff went out of their way to make sure we are safe and able to get back on the road! Great group!

The rear differential blew on my truck in a parking lot. It had a tiny hole in the diff cover. Brought it to them to replace the gears.

One of the guys there must have tried to move the truck inside. Just blew the housing and all the gears right out of her. It would have been an awfull sound. Grunding and cracking and shaking. The diff cover now looked like a samurai had just went bonkers on it. They called and told me i need an entire new rear axle.

I wondered why and went to see. Sure enough she was dickered. They denied even starting it and said that no one went inside the truck. Although i left the np5 gearbox in neutral so it wouldent cause more damage. When i checked it was in 4hi. But they still denied it.

No one would even give me a core on the axle because it was so bad. I had to buy a welder and the gears and a new carrier and bearings and seals and rebuilt it all in the street and welded the holes. Cost me 1500$ what should have been maybe a carrier and some spider gears for 550$.

Worst shop ever. And lied and lied. Kelly the front desk guy and Rod the owner are super nice down to earth folk. But whom ever went in my truck and destroyed the rear end and lied about it has some nasty karma coming their way.

Now my np5 gear box sounds bad and wont stay in four loc. Im sure it has to do with however they broke the crud out of everything else. I wasent going to write this but since that day i have been having more and more problems with the drive train that was absolutely perfect before the samurai at ok tire went buck wild and im just beyond frustrated now.

The rear end i fixed is still perfect though.

Buy tires from these people but dont let the mechanics install them.

Ive left saskatoon since. Wont be back.

I came in just to get one tire replaced and they tried to sell me a bunch of stuff I didn't need. When I politely backed out of impulsively buying hundreds of dollars worth the tires, they started to get rude and annoyed with me. I came to this location because it was close, and i had a spare tire on. I'm never coming back. You're better off going to a place like A1 tire where they sell new AND USED tires for a more affordable price and most importantly, the customer service is way better than OK tire. So unimpressed.

If you need to get a plug out in your tire DO NOT GO to OK Tire! I've had many screws In my tires over the years. Most places charge from $10 to $30. Since the company I work for servuces all their trucks at this location even the work truck I drive. The guys I work with told me to go there say were you work and get a deal. It was over $50 for a regular screw in the centre of my tire. Not only that i asked for a quote befote to get u joints replaced and he said he would give me one and it will be with in a few thousand. When I paid my bill he had no quote for me. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyobe. And I will be telling all the guys I work with how riduclus and unprofessional the guy at the front is. He belongs at used car lot.
