I've been shopping at the Quance and Victoria Ave locations for many years and it's always a pleasure. The staff have always gone above and beyond, are always very helpful and friendly.

I visit Old Fashion Foods at least once a month. It a great place for many cooking and baking supplies as well as supplements we use. I appreciate the monthly sale day too. Staff are always friendly and helpful!

I went in for my usual bar soap and took some shampoo and conditioner with me that caused me a severe allergic reaction on my scalp and acne along my hairline (scalp literally peeling off in clumps). I caught an eye roll from the employee i spoke with to the manager when she asked what was up. Truely unprofessional, uncomfortable and rude. The manager was not very helpful, she took my information down and said she would contact the company prairie naturals to see if they would refund me. The product is not cheap and it comprimised the health of my scalp and hair growth. Did not offer any help from Old Fashion Foods at all, I still have not received a phone call from either company and very unhappy. I will never be back to this location, I'd rather drive a bit extra and receive outstanding service at the other locations that I always do. Do not recommend unless their attitude changes and they offer help to their customers. Iv never returned anything to a health food stores and this product is just sitting under my sink waiting for that never received phone call. Shame.

This place has a pretty big selection of nearly any kind of herbal supplement or natural remedy you can imagine. I was specifically looking for clove oil, goldenseal and Nin Jiom (herbal cough syrup), and my dad went there for chaga mushroom; things you'd be hard-pressed to find at any pharmacy or 'nutritional supplement' store (like GNC). We found them all right away with the help of a person who worked there. The prices weren't bad either.
