Olive Garden Italian Restaurant

Stein Electric would like to thank Olive Garden for catering our Christmas party! They provided a meal for 75 of our employees and everything went off without a hitch – food was warm, delicious and delivered on time. We’d gotten salad, breadsticks and lasagna. They’d even thrown in some dessert which was a very pleasant (and tasty) surprise!

We’d like to thank Nico and his team for their wonderful service and attention to detail with every aspect of our meal.

Great experience – highly recommend Olive Garden!

The service is usually pretty good, breadsticks are a great appetizer and the pasta is pretty darn good. No complaints.

The service was amazing, and the food was delicious! Mike and Tracy were great servers. Mike brought our table a lot of laughs and made the evening fantastic!

Terrible service here. We were basically ignored throughout the entire meal. Plates were plunked onto the table in front of us, splashing soup everywhere. The service used to be good, but the last couple of times we ate here, it has been very disappointing.

This was my first time at Olive Garden. The experience was great! Staff was friendly! And the food was top notch!

Waiter seemed busier with trying to sell us add ons then actually giving us what we want. Told him we didn't want wine, then he pressured us. Told him we didn't want appetizers, then he pressured us. The whole thing was to try and keep us there spending money. We needed to quickly eat and get on our way.

Went to Olive Garden Preston Ave, Saskatoon this evening. Was very satisfied with the food. Very tasty dishes and lots of salad and bread rolls. We had some of the best service we have ever had at a restaurant. Our server was Felicia B and she was fantastic. Pleasant, engaging and knowledgeable about the menu and followed her recommendations on one of our dishes and it was delicious. Felicia is definitely an asset to the restaurant and she would be one of the main reasons we will return.

Service was great. Sadly my chicken on my Alfredo came out fully raw and pink (just one slice out of the 6 on it). The server and manager handled it well - they were very concerned and offered to compensate my entree and gave me a free dessert. I would come again because the food was good (other than the raw chicken) and the service was great. The raspberry mint lemonade cocktail was delish.

Excellent food and very good service from Garret. Ask for his section, you won't be disappointed.

I found the person serving us so knowledgeable and friendly. The food was amazing. So good. Would recommend highly.

If you like pasta, it's a great restaurant! I dislike that there is only one salad to choose from for the all-you-can-eat and the breadsticks seem to be microwaved because they turn to little rocks if you wait too long but overall the food is so good and the servings are big. The service is usually good and all the little extras are a nice touch. A little on the pricy side but still affordable.

The "please fill out our online survey" had a character limit, but here is what I would have told the restaurant in a more direct fashion if I could. The following is why I was reporting such a positive review on their form:

Given the COVID years, many chain restaurants found many challenges in maintaining operations which leads to a present service culture of "lazy shortcuts". This location and staff were exemplary in terms of their polished and consistently strong representation of Olive Garden. The staff members were more than "friendly and helpful"; they were genial and warm. The facility was immaculate. The food portion sizes were more than generous. As a parent, I was also extremely pleased with how well the staff operated around and with my children.

Our server, Nisargkumar, was clearly the most visible part of this genuinely successful visit, but my observations of every visible member of the staff only reinforced my opinion. The woman at the front counter (I didn't catch her name) displayed the character traits I've described with just as much resolve.

It is, in this economy, an increasingly rare thing for folks to choose to go out and eat in a public restaurant. One could argue that much more rides on the selection of a restaurant than perhaps was normally the case a few years ago. A bad experience, even in a convenient neighborhood location, might have a heavier impact on future choices. With this in mind, I am so happy to have this Olive Garden location in my area. I will be back based on my experiences that evening, and I'm very happy to tell others the same thing.

Food was ok, waiters werent very good they handed off hot soup over childrens heads 2 times, and not to each other to patrons.instead of walking around the table they handed food over ppl.
Kept forgetting things and not checking back.

Food was delicious and decent sized portions. Our server was fantastic. She was very attentive to our table and polite. Overall, it was a great experience and will be returning.

The staff are always amazing here. I would also highly recommend the soup and salad special for lunch, it is unlimited and only about $11.

Excellent food and great customer service. The all you can eat soup and breadsticks was great and the wine choices were top notch. There is a wait most time so i suggest getting on the wait list in advance of your arrival.

Very inaccurate estimation of order pickup “to-go”. Said 1/2 hour was closer to 40 minutes. Disappointed

Went for dinner with friends on Monday. Excellent seafood Alfredo.had enough for lunch on Tuesday. Service always excellent!

Absolutely the worst service I’ve ever experienced. We took our son for his birthday and even he was cracking dry jokes about how bad the service was.

This is my third time visiting the Olive Garden in Saskatoon.not remotely close to the Olive Gardens that I've tried in other locations (Edmonton is by far the best). The house salad was very comparable to the iceberg salad from a bag just with added onions, croutons, peppers, and olives plus there was very little dressing on it (not impressed). I had the Tour of Italy.not impressed at all as it closely resembled a microwaved meal and my chicken parm was a bit over cooked (crusty and dry) as was my lasagna. The Shrimp Fritto Misto was however delicious.and of course the service was great. They were incredibly busy last evening but that shouldn't be reflected in the quality of food.also a little too pricey.

Partner and I ate here for our anniversary on Nov 2. The inside was beautiful and clean. The food was amazing and brought out in a timely manner. Our server Garrett (?) was so very attentive and personable and made our experience all the better. Definitely would come back.

The food was good. The service was excellent. It is a great place to enjoy a meal with friends.

My family and I went to Olive Garden to celebrate my birthday and my Grandson's GF's birthday and had a wonderful experience. Although their policy is to present a free dessert to the person celebrating their special day the GF'S birthday was next day so they presented us with 2 special desserts. Our server Tracy was incredible and the food was delicious. Highly recommend OG!

Checked online to see what the wait time was, and told there is a 40-50 minute waitlist. Waited over 1.5 hours with no contact, so we went to the location and there was 4 hostess waiting doing nothing with space available to dine in. This can be partly overlooked, however when entering, one of the party guests recently lost their drivers license and did not have any other forms of photo ID except his temporary drivers license and a photo of his old ID and credit cards in his name. NONE of them were taken or even considered and the hostess just was firm on a no. Definitely not proper customer service and rules aren’t in line with other establishments.

I love this restaurant to take the family and enjoy nice quality food and service. They have such nice atmosphere and lovely food.

Food is good but the portions have gone down drastically. Their never ending bread sticks used to be a basket of breadsticks that they would refill often. Now it's two breadsticks that only get refilled when you ask them to

Had a great time for my birthday supper. Our waitress Chelsey suggested a delicious drink! Unfortunately wrong meal was brought for me, communication error. It was fixed and my meal was brought out quite quickly. And at no charge which was completely a surprise.we had no problem paying but it was removed from the bill.
We had a wonderful time, I also appreciated the sundae and my friends planned for everyone to sing Happy birthday!

Very good overall. Service, food, prices and environment. Also I went a little bit passed lunch time but I could still order from the lunch menu which was nice.

For my first time ever in an Olive Garden, I was impressed. Hubby enjoyed the salad, soup and bread sticks, and I had a steak off their Gluten-Free menu. The service was excellent and so was the food. We even got a sweet note in our delicious dessert.

One of it's kind in Saskatoon. One of my favorite places. Last night visit was great. Our host "BRENNA" was nice, cooperative and helpful. She suggested some items those we liked very much. Wish her success in coming days.

This was my first time going to Olive Garden. And let's just say, it started off usually.

As we enter, the fire alarm starts to go off (apparently a child had flipped the switch in one of the bathrooms). The reason I even mention this is that basically none of the 6 staff we saw and heard knew what it even was or what what going on. It's clear that Olive Garden doesn't do Fire Drill training with their team. Everyone just kept going as if nothing happened and proceeded to sit us. The only reason I give 4 stars is to help Olive Garden see and maybe give their workers some training. There were a lot of people in the restaurant and if it had been a real fire, things would have turned into Chaos quickly.

Now, onto the food. The all you can eat breadsticks, salad and the Chicken Gnocchi Soup we're amazing. All five other adults loved their dishes. I had the cheese ravioli with meat sauce and had added Shrimp (pictured - sorry for the bite - forgot to take the photo at the start). This tasted great. The shrimp we're supposed to be sauteed however they looked and tasted like they came from a shrimp ring tray. I don't recommend them for the 4$ they cost to be added.

But overall, I'd totes go again and go more hungry than I did today. It really was a good and fun experience.

Best service in a long time! I didn’t get our servers name but he was wonderful! He really knew customer service! The food was fantastic. Got a seafood Alfredo and a 5 cheese Ziti. We had our baby with us and he went above and beyond to interact with the baby, and to bring hot water and cold water to mix our baby a bottle. Very great service!

Waited forever for drinks, drinks came, waited forever for soup salad and breadsticks, they didn't come, Our appy came out first. Sent it back. Finally got our soup salad and breadsticks. Then brought appy out again right after! We would like to enjoy our soups and salads first, not eat it while appy cools on table! Still in the middle of eating our soup and salad and they bring the main course out! Sent it back! We hadn't even had the appy yet! Finished eating our soup and salad and waited forever for the appy. Wait forever for our main course. Waitresses become very ignorant one almost knocked a bowl over on my friend. Acting like we are the problem! Obviously this place no longer knows how to bring things out in a timely manner. Just rush rush rush. We've eaten at this establishment MANY times since it's opened and never had any issues! But after this experience I don't think we will be back! Very uncomfortable place!

VERY VERY fast-paced. No time to even finish a conversation with anyone, let alone enjoy the environment. You almost HAVE to know ahead of time everything you're about to order.

Angel was so amazing, she made sure we had a wonderful birthday celebration. Who knew she could sing so well. Lovely experience, won’t wait till next birthday to be back.

It's just Olive Garden. There was a minor billing mistake, got fixed was all good. Can't do half stars but it's 3.5 for the food and service

I usually love the Olive Garden. This was my first time at this location. The food wasn't nearly as good as I've had at other locations. Bread was overcooked and the salad wasn't right either. Tasted like regular Italian dressing instead of the signature Olive Garden dressing. The entre was bland. I was surprised to be so disappointed. Overall, just mediocre.

Awesome service and food. Server was polite, made us feel welcome and was attentive while serving us. Refills of food, beverages were offered and we were sincerely thanked for our business. All food served was fresh with hot food hot and cold food cold. The washroom was clean, tidy and well stocked. Overall, our group had an enjoyable meal here and will definitely be back.

So amazing! Really outstanding service delicious donuts and soup and do not get me started on the breadsticks, I'm druewling already and I just left there tonight.

The tiramisu is incredible, and the service was very good, very fresh salad. Just too many people at the host stand and not greeting people coming in/out too busy, talking between them.

We called and were told they weren't taking reservations. Show up and they say it will be an hour and a half wait, next time try phoning ahead. I seriously doubt there will be a next time. Didn't need the unhelpful suggestion.

Nice layout, but in worse shape than I would have expected after only been open a year. Food was good, but expensive for portion size.

Ordered take out, the food was great. Had one tiny problem with the order and they fixed it immediately. We will be ordering again and again. Friendly and quick

Overall it was a great experience along with yummy Cheese Ravioli with complimentary Salad & Bread sticks. Server was able to understand our NO MEAT requirements well and was kind. Restaurant had a great ambience too.
