Pike Lake Provincial Park

Had a beautiful trail walk today and at the beach it was so nice it been a long time that Oley was there, he remembered the place again the smell and sights and adventure it was a beautiful warm day too. YES he is a Cat hope you enjoy the pics n vid.

The double camp sites and 40 year plus BBQ grills is why I wouldn't go back. Couldn't have a camp fire without starting a forest fire. All other provincial parks I have visited have the colvert style BBQ pits with swing BBQ grills. Step up to the plate Pike Lake and do some renovations. They do have a very nice pool and water slide for the kids.

It's a nice place, you can barbecue and swim in the pond, there are toilets and changing rooms on the territory.

Beautiful camp ground, very pleasant and helpful staff. Great job. I will certainly recommend this park!

A great place to relax. Aside from lake they also have pool with slide. Multiple washroom. Good for camping, get together and quick get away.

Peaceful and very nature friendly.
Spacious and lots of picnic areas and tables. The beach is quiet and has clear water, great for summer and swimming

There’s a pool with a giant slide that children can enjoy. There’s also convenient store inside. Rest rooms are clean.

The outdoor pool I give 5stars, it’s awesome, the lake was hmm, what can I say, it gave me a vibe of dirty water anyways was really cold so I decided to not go in.
It’s relaxing to be in the sand and enjoy the view though

Amazing as long as you don't try renting a paddle boat. Nothing but stoner kids that don't care working there and all the seats and half the paddle boats are broken and barely functional. Probably some of the worst service I've ever experienced in my life at the paddle boat shop. Upgrade your equipment upgrade your staff and you'll probably or don't and the world will know that you just don't care and you hate people and you like to see them in misery

Nice little beach, pool has a waterside, confectionery is well stocked with picnic, camping and icecream treats!

The park and the staff are fantastic. The facilities are spot on. Very clean. Park rangers are noticeable and no issues with anything. A wonderful place to go.

So we came dor the winter festivités. They charged us $10 to get into the park. No batgrooms were available! My 4 year old had an accident. Because tge batgrooms were all locked! When we FINALLY found a bathroom to change his pants there was no doorhandle on the inside door!
They have no business charging park admission for this service! We were regulars here but i cant say we will be coming back any time aoon!

I am so dissapointed!

Great place to spend the summer. They have great events for kids to get crafty, have fun and make memories. I have been going there every summer since the age of 1 and love it every year.

Cross Country Skiing
Went to Cactus Hills to cross country ski today (Jan 4th, 2021). After the warm weather the past few days, the track is super icy and uneven and looks like it hasn't been groomed in a good while. I would not recommend anyone who is not a seasoned cross country skier to try this course- it is extremely challenging with many smaller hills that are pretty treacherous in these conditions.

This was an awesome little drive thru light display. We didn't even do the Crokicurl and it looked great too! Definitely on our list for next year!
