I have been going to planet fitness for over 3 years. I’m an early morning gym member. I know it’s been hard to staff the early morning shift with anyone who has energy but the weekend early morning crew is the best. Sarah and Morgan make the gym a great place to be. They remember your name, they are completely engaged with the members, and they make you glad you dragged your butt out of bed to come to the gym.
I wish you could clone them and have them working every day on the opening shift. Sarah and Morgan should be training the rest of the staff on how to treat the members.

I love coming to Planet Fitness in Regina. Sarah and Morgan are always smiling and greet me every time I come in! They are so knowledgeable. Exceptional ladies!

A good environment to start your fitness journey. The staff has always been helpful and given me their time when I needed it. They have nice appliances and well maintained equipment

It's cheap for a reason, but still I would expect more for the amount of members PF has. I've been coming here for years now on and off for various reasons. I'm trying to get back into things and when I've gone right after work and a couple of hours after, its still quite busy. The gym needs more of the single type machines, as they always have someone on them, and there just isn't enough room to just stretch away from others.

I know you can check how busy it is at peak times but the reality is, you go when it works for you- with work and your schedule. I would hope PF can take that into account and become a 24/7 gym and open a second location. This would allow people to have more access and be able to use the machines they come for. There are plenty of ellipticals and treadmills, but I come for the single machines and based on how busy those machines always are, it seems like many do too.

Today, I left frustrated as I wasn't able to get several machines to do my planned workout and there wasn't enough space to stretch because of how packed it was just before 7 pm. I'm also noticing a lot of the machines are getting squeaky and run down. Honestly considering biting the bullet and seeking out a gym in the North end.

Busy place, equipment is getting run down since my last visit in september 2022. A few of the weight machines are only singles, so you have to wait to use them. I am visiting from Saskatoon, I worked out 3 days at this location, not once was I welcomed by the staff or acknowledged when I left. The Saskatoon locations are way friendlier than this place.

If you want to use wi-fi do NOT sign up here. Unusable 90% if the time. Notify staff and they will tell you it will be fixed. 3 years into this now. Rest of gym is fine.

I joined planet fitness due to having a surgery that I was only aloud to lift less than 4kg. It was a safe alternative due to the machines as free weights could cause issues. It's a good begginer gym no doubt, good to join with your spouse due to the black membership allowing you to bring a guest. Due to their business model though they have very few free weights (dumbbells barbells). They only have smith machines which again are good for beginner lifters. All in all a great place they listened to my concerns about the shoe area and fixed that which was nice to see. If they got more free weights and squat cages this would be an excellent place to go.

The staffs are very friendly. The gym is clean and well maintained. I love working out in here.

When its busy people wasting time sitting on their phone sitting on the machines makes it painful to try get a work out in at peak times

The worst gym and customer service I’ve ever seen. Just unenthusiastic losers working there.

Worst gym I been to so far, cheap quality equipment and weights don't go up high at all to ever get any results, ok gym for beginners but lots of judgmental sighns and posters all over the gym that make you feel uncomfortable, the only attractive thing is the price point but you get what you pay for

Price per month is the best in the city.for the number of machines and equipment they have.the massage chairs, hydro beds (when they're working), UV treatment, and tanning beds are included! Only down side is people where their outside shoes in making the floors for staff to maintain harder.and the entrance is always wet and dirty for months at a time - usually businesses even small ones get mats vacuumed, shampooed or changed out to keep it clean.and lockers werent cleaned out for over a week.but i think from this last visit they're finally starting to slowly improve that since they've been losing a lot customers lately.so give them a chance! Try it out! Plus with the black card you can bring someone with you every time for free!

Staff are very kind and helpful. Feel comfortable here and find it easy to navigate my way around. Equipment is good. Black card member perks are awesome!

It was going good but there is one staff member.she does not know how to talk with someone.

Management had reached out and acknowledged my concern. Clarified their policy and informed their staff has been trained on the misinformation they had. Massage chairs can asked for right up until 5 mins to close. Thank you!

Changing from 1 star to 4 stars.

It's quarter to 11pm and this night incharge, Simon, didn't allow me to use their massage chairs because they are about to close (at 11pm). What kind service is this? ! Plus his attitude, definitely not one suited for a Customer Service environment. I pay full but can't use the facility right until 11pm? ! Also, massage chairs are timed for 5 mins only and the chair was empty. I'd understand if I came at 10: 55pm asking use their machine. Some from the management care to explain? ! If no one gets to me here, I am going to call the head office. Not the first instance.
I am your black card member and been for years (no longer on a contract) would not hesitate to cancel if I don't hear back.

It's cheap and great for beginners, the tanning and massage chairs are a pretty sweet bonus for 25 bucks a month. Remember, you get what you pay for. Overall good value for the fees.

Planet fitness gets a bad rep, and I'm glad I ignored it, because it's super affordable and it has everything I was looking for in a gym. I've heard stories about weird people and lunk-shaming, but it's just a normal gym. My only complaint is that some of the best machines are broken, and they need to fix them. Seems like they're taking their time tho

I like the gym by it’s really frustrating how long equipment stays broken for. Down to one working stairclimber out of four. Some people will stay on a stairclimber for 30 minutes forcing the rest of us to wait long periods. It’s irritating how long stuff is broken for at this gym.

Staff force me to pay by credit card rather than the pre-authorized saving account. And he told me I am rude and want me to leave without offering the service when I don't wanna pay by credit card. He presumes I would not be able to pay for the monthly subscription so I need a credit card.

I had 5 stars before. No its down to 1 star. Absolutely hate the fact that you guys changed the hrs to make profit. At least make it till 1am. But to close at 11pm is ridiculous.

100% moving away from this gym to a "real" 24 hrs a week.

- cheap, gets the job done
Cons:
- could do with about half the treadmills and ellipticals (and twice the Smith machines)
- rude old lady in spray tan that works at the front counter

What a place to work out without hurting ur Bank!
Great for Beginners and equally for Professionals but they should have dumbbell bar above size 100lb by now. I m sick of 60s

I love the hours and lots free weights.however, my much loved pizza is missing as are the wonderful tootsie rolls. I morn the lost glory of Regina's planet fitness.

Used to be good. Till they let kids come in for free for a few months. No just full of people who just sit on equipment do nothing.

The gym overall is amazing, the members are amazing and had great atmosphere but there has been multiple incidents with one of the workers Sara, she has caused many problems with me and multiple people I know. She’s disrespectful and highly unprofessional. She’s made multiple comments on my online profiles being rude causing unwanted problems, she’s lied about her position and time working at the gym also making multiple unnecessary comments and notes and me and my friends for no reason and has threatened to expel our memberships with no real reason.

My one star review has nothing to do with the equipment but it has to do with one staff member in particular. Sarah is a very rude staff member. I am constantly having issues with her and I only started a month ago. She threatened to expel my gym membership, she is harassing my friends online, and she's very unprofessional. She had told me she was a manager, which she lied about. She had told me she was working there for many years, another lie. I have heard so many complaints about her, my friend just came in the other day and was saying how she got denied by a woman who works at front desk. I asked if her name was Sarah and she said yes. She said that Sarah was extremely rude to her and all she wanted to do was sign up for a membership. I am not comfortable coming to the gym and have to work around her schedule so I don't have to feel like I am constantly watched. I pay to go to the gym. I pay her wage. I want something to be done.

I haven't been going to the gym for long time but I have felt very welcome. Sarah has always greeted me with a smile on her face, a kind greeting and a willingness to help me out in whatever way she can. She has made my feelings of being a new gym goer the best I could have hoped for. Great job Sarah! You are the reason I keep coming back!

Always love to visit Planet Fitness, recently requested to freeze my membership for an extended period of time as I was traveling and they accommodated it!

On April 4,2022 at approximately 8: 09pm walked in to hear loud music with profanity playing at the front desk. Requested to a tall male staff member with dreadlocks to shut it off as it is inappropriate. He proceeded to get into my face leaning toward me multiple times and became verbally aggressive. I proceeded to tell him he could not talk to me in that manner as he is a staff member in uniform, he disregarded my advice and continued to get into my face. If you enjoy this type of treatment as a paying member by all means this is the place for you!

The old angry woman at the front is very rude and unprofessional. She took my photo without my permission while i was at the entrance even though i had told her they already had mu information and photo on file. Made me feel uncomfortable when i came in to work out tonight. Had so many poor interactions at this gym. Worst gym in regina by far.

Great place to workout! The staff are friendly and eager to help, especially Sarah and Mike. These two stand out as they are always interacting and creating a meaningful rapport with their customers. The gym is always clean. Overall a great place.

I wish this can be a 24 hours gym for the whole week.

I like the hydro massage in the gym and the good part is if you’re a black member you can take a guest with you to a gym.

Clean, hygienic place. Variety of fitness equipment. Locker rooms are not big enough for maintaining social distance during pandemic. Some equipments have been out of order for long time but most of the equipments have 2nd identical machine available.

Clean and i always see staff wiping down equipment. Has lots of exercise machines so almost no wait times

The facility is great for the price you pay. Their app is good too specially the crowd meter. Though one of the rep or maybe she's the manager idk couldn't see the name tag from afar but she needs calm down when speaking to people and be respectful. She's in a customer service industry and I get it that she may have to do the same thing multiple times a day but hey, it's part of the job. You can't be yelling at people that come in past 9pm on a Friday evening to tell them you are closed. I am a regular, and haven't seen any other reps of their with this type of attitude, hence I say she may be the manager there.

But the facility is great for workout for the price you pay as I said earlier and definitely recommend it.

For the price it's great. Wish they had a couple different free weight machines. Wayyyy too much cardio equipment. But still good atmosphere and people.

The older female staff member is a total Karen with a capital K. I’ve had nothing but positive experiences from the other staff members, but she is always cranky and has a poor attitude and makes me not want to continue my membership. I provided my first and second vaccination cards/QR codes, my ID, and she still was hesitant to let me enter the facility. I have no problem providing proof, but the way she handled it made me feel very aggravated. The other staff commented that she was being harsh as well.

The staff is great, the mirrors need to be windexed more often also the water filter needs changing more often.

The Gym is great but you feel like you are on your own.there isn’t many experienced coaches there

Some stuff is unprofessional and unfriendly. One of the members was talking in a really bad manners. This is unacceptable for customer service. I had some questions about my payment, and it seemed that she even didn't want to talk with me.

I would love to give this gym higher ratings, but to be quite honest, I find it to be over crowded in the weight room. If you want to use the free weights as opposed to the plethora of machines, you will be waiting a while! The staff tend to congregate at the front desk instead of walking the floor to make sure everyone is using the equipment safely and following COVID protocols. It drives me nuts how often I see people sitting on a machine scrolling their social media, especially when there are literally people standing outside just waiting for their chance to come in.
On the other hand, for the price, you really can't beat it. Black Card membership gives you access to they gym, tanning, hydro massage and massage chairs plus the total body enhancement infrared machine.

Good GYM really affordable price. I just wish they have powerlifting stations (squat rack, deadlift station)
Using a smith machine for those exercises is okay for beginners but is not good for the longrun. Also many people that come here are beginners and I would love it if there was some sort of demonstration of what not to do because these people might injure themselves doing behind the neck exercises and bending their back while lifting!
To whoever is reading this please dont do any behind the neck exercises and make sure your back is straight!

Became a member last year and stick with it during this pandemic. PF is doing a great job to keep members in touch with updates and very responsible to members health by making masks mandatory in the club.

My wife went to the gym in March to cancel her membership and the person told her that it is cancelled now. The gym was closed for sometime due to Covid19. In July they charged the annual fee again so I went to the gym along with my wife to inform about this. The assistant manager- Laura told us that she cannot refund the charge now and that she cannot take responsibility of what some staff member said back in March. Such a useless job! Her job is to take responsibility of the gym and staff members when the manager is not present. Laura told us that she can cancel the membership but they will still charge a monthly fee as it was supposed to go in a couple of days and she cannot stop it. Stay way from this place guys! We went to get a refund for the annual fee and got the answer that it wont be refunded and will also charge the monthly fee. Real blood suckers!

Went in March to cancel my membership. The person I talked to said that it was cancelled. Last week I got charged the annual fee of $44 so I went in today to ask about it and the assistant manager Laura said that it can't be refunded plus I will be charged $23 for this month as they can't stop it. She kept just saying that she was not the person I talked to in March so she can't stop the payment, refund or take responsibility of what their employee said. Very poor service and communication. I also gave them an option to transfer the membership to my spouse if they didn't want to refund me, and Laura kept saying the same. Definitely going to spread the word about such an awful customer service.

Cheapest place to workout in Regina so far as I know, good service, but always too crowded and people always wait for popular equipment. I love those message chairs, gives a good relax after exercises.

Got the membership to enjoy the tanning, massage beds etc. 50% of the stand up beds have been broken since October 2019, same as a hydro bed. Can never get in! They are obviously only interested in selling memberships. Maybe they should charge more so they can repair the equipment.

Was interested in switching gym’s to PF. Called and inquired if I could get a week trial, apparently Regina doesn’t have codes to do that- and they can only offer me a one day pass. Fine, I go in to the gym to be told I was a guest there over two years ago and they would not let me try the facility. Unless I signed a 12-month contract. I guess the customer service rumours are correct about Planet Fitness, and it’s cheap for a reason!

Gotta say, compared to some other gyms this place is so much cheaper and the staff there is really nice. My first day in the general manager welcomed me and offered to show me around the place. If your looking for a decent size gym for a cheap price then look no further!

Depending on your time of the day most likely won’t find a spot on the bench, squats and deadlift places.

They don't even bother to pay employees when they work, why would any ever pay to workout? If your lucky enough to deal a miss laura Kish, then your in for a treat. She has to be hands down the rudest person I've ever met and the fact she's in customer service is a joke.

When the manager cannot fix the problem: (and cannot talk to head office, then what?

Love this place. Busy but have some productive times here. Always available equipment here barely ever have to wait.

Be mindful and careful when you are cancelling your membership. After a year of being with the gym I wasn't interested in continuing a membership. Going in to cancel itself was very painless, however the week after I cancelled I noticed that I was charged the annual membership fee. When I went in to discuss this I was told that two weeks notice to cancel was needed prior to stop the annual membership fee from being charged (a ruling I could not find on the Planet Fitness website). Just something to keep in mind if you want to get out after a year.

Good price and atmosphere. Would like to see more free weight selection but may not be what PF goes for as Goodlife is close by.

I believe this is the cheapest place to work out in the city. They have a large selection of equipment. Showers on site with change stalls as well.

I am the last person anyone would have thought to see in a gym and here I am! It's a very relaxed gym, lots of different equipment. It does get quite busy I hope they open a second location to free up machines faster. But very clean, and great staff

Not a member but went with a day pass. All the main gym necessities available with a cheap rate

Its.ok. There is about 15 staff members onsite at any time it seems, but yet there is piss all over the bathrooms, entry way hasn't seen a vacuum in months, and the paper towels used to wipe down equipment always seem to be out. Yes there is a lot of cardio machines, but if your looking for free weight strength conditioning, this isn't your place.
