Prairie Donair Rochdale

Food is alright but the service was not very good and had to ask for my order 4 times. Staff was busy talking to themselves instead of customers. Way way over priced aswell. Not a good value.

Started an online Door Dash order, hit order by mistake, immediately did a cancel. Reordered with a different total bill. Noticed that I have been charged twice having only received 1 order?

**UPDATED** - was able to get full reimbursement from DoorDash.
As well, the owner of Prairie Donair had been away, once he was back, he emailed me right away, apologized and offered to make it right! Great customer service from Mr. Morrissette!

I’ve never had slower service in my life If you don’t have to staff to even take an order don’t be open

I used to looove this place! But the service is absolutely terrible, it’s so unorganized. They didn’t start making our fries until after our donairs were made, the donairs took so long and they couldn’t remember what we ordered, also the restaurant was filthy

Wanted to charge me an extra 9$ for a pinch of veggies on a burnt rice bowl. Place is trash.

The two ladies who served me were ok… however in the winter, there were some fellows who worked here and they were much more friendly and always asked me how my food was.
The new deep fried dill pickles were really good, however sauce, while it tasted ok, was as watery as … well, water. My Donair tasted great.

A little extra friendliness goes a long way.

The process to order and make a donair is painfully long and you have to tell them your order 5 times before they even start to make it. And it’s expensive for what you get. Food is great. Experience is -0/10

Use of coupon confused the order. When trying to clarify, the staff was very confused and adamant they charged me correctly. I feel I was over charged and did not get what I paid for with the particular coupon I was using.

I tried it for the 1st time it was good, the staff was really good ask me what I liked and I should try this. Great experience

Great food, great value. My wife and I had a great time. Excellent customer service by the staffs specially Arshak and Moinul. Highly recommended. The Spicy Signature, oh boy superb! My wife enjoyed the Canadian Maple. Next, can't wait to try the Chicken and Lamb.

My absolute FAVORITE place to eat! The food here is amazing quality and the meat is exquisite and seasoned perfectly. The staff are very friendly and the portions are generous, its nice to see a place not skimp on the portions when making the food. I always recommend this place to friends and family. Also the lamb is the best lamb in the city! Thanks for being a good restaurant!

Good selection of donairs with great selection of toppings and sauces. They service coca cola products in both bottle and fountain drink form. You can also have your donair as a rice bowl, salad, a platter or skillet. I love this place.

I literally drive to the other side of town for a Donair when I want one. Yes, there is a PD location closer to me, but none of them seem to give as much time or attention to the food as the staff here at the Rochdale location! It's the only location that's actually opened my pita bread up and stuffed it before wrapping it and grilling it.

Don’t let the number of locations fool you because this chain is as local as any other and there’s a reason they’ve been able to expand. The donairs are delicious and good sizes. Ingredients are fresh with lots of options and any sauce you can think of, plus they’re generous with the helpings and have fair prices.the customer service is always exceptional, particularly at this location I’ve found.

Just 15 minutes ago i got the meal for my family from here and a bigshout to the person who was working overthere his name is Zia very hardworking guy it was damn busy and he was attending everybody and the best customer service.

They use same grill for veggie and chicken as been vegetarian that’s disgusting. Employees need to work on their communication skills as well. Otherwise the food and service was good.

The owner used to own the east location and now owns the Rochdale location. The pride he has in his career carried over to his new location and it shows with the way he treats each and every customer. So friendly, personable & always smiling. Visiting with him is part of the P. D. Experience I enjoy and can expect with each visit. His staff is equally as great, you can tell everyone takes pride in their job!
The food is consistently top notch quality and the price is very reasonable. Don’t waste your time trying Donairs anywhere else. Their selection of toppings and sauces can’t be beat.

Food was good but awful time trying to order. I asked for their ‘PD chips and dip’ and the man serving me saying he don’t know how to make it. I am normally understanding when it comes to new people but maybe you shouldn’t let your employees run the store alone if they don’t know how to make everything on the menu.
