Upper management is a joke everything from the pool to hot tub and ice machine almost never works. Kids run up and down the middle of the hallways making noise in the middle of the night. Hotel staff does nothing about it. Hotel is a joke If want good sleep don't stay here. Upper management is useless.

Pool hot tub and slide was closed the entire holidays. Did not show up that it would be offline when booking. Had a couple sad kids that there is no pool. Next morning went down for free hot breakfast that was highly advertised and was told no breakfast. No where does it say breakfast room is closed for our stay. We were not informed at check in that they would not be open for breakfast. Evening front desk was not friendly. Rate is the same despite reduced amenities. Will not return to this one, much better options very near by for similar rates.

Called ahead of time prior to my arrival to confirm that they had a BBQ in working order so that I could buy and cook my own food. Was assured by a staff member that everything was good to go. Bought $100 worth of food to BBQ and when I arrive I find the propane tank empty and a different staff member telling me it doesn’t operate in winter months. Which is it? Now I’ve wasted $100 worth of food.

Like everyone says the staff is amazing and super kind.

One thing I hate is they still use those sorry but gross brown scratchy blankets from the 90s. It’s something you guys gotta get rid of, they are rather gross.no offence

My mattress in 128 had also seen better days, there is several holes in it and it is coming apart at the seems. It’s gotta be 10 plus years old. Time for an new one lol it’s made it’s money ten fold.

We only stayed 1 night. The hotel was great, and with Yorkton being a smaller city you are not far from anything.

Great hotel. The service was good, the rooms were nice and clean, the beds were comfy, didn't go to the pool as we just stayed while passing through Yorkton, but it looks good. Next time I stay over I would like to use the pool. The hotel is in a great location as it is right across from the 7 eleven and the mall. The breakfast is simple, but good enough for us. This is my first time staying here, but good first impression. Hope to stay again another day.

Review #2 March 2023: came back for 2cnd part of my work contract this time 4 months. Stayed at my favorite place but sad to see Jennifer at front desk gone. Jeannette & Steven my favourite people are still there! Every night I come down and drink a cup of tea and watch the news. Jeanette always keeps me company. She has excellent conversational skills. Watching her interact with other hotel guests, I feel she is so professional, kind, courteous & knowledgeable. Lapreet & Charmaine at breakfast are lovely. Joy the lifeguard from the pool is awesome. The only down part is management. I feel that management at this hotel is VERY poor. There are 3 levels of management: owner, middle manager & hotel manager. The later I feel has completely failed me. Every time I have issues, I am met with arguments & a lack of accountability from her part. It seems like she’s blaming me for her staff failures, including housekeeping not cleaning my room. My cards got deactivated & she argued with me for 5 minutes before reactivating them. Ever since her arrival she has lost long-term staff. It is sad to see such a hotel have bad management. All long term guests agree with me! The gym is finally fixed but the equipment is really bad and needs to be changed. I tried the pool for the first time. Very warm and comfortable yet very high in chlorine. The ice machine is fixed. Weekends are still sadly super noisy and rowdy in this hotel with parents and their kids screaming and running up and down the hall. Few bad reviews written by them as they do not realize how their unsupervised kids disrupt the peace and quiet of the hotel as well as other guest. Avoid this hotel Fridays and Saturdays but during the week is wonderfully peaceful.
Review #1December 2022: I was coming to Yorkton on a 2 month work contact with the possibility of extension. I could not find short term rentals so i started calling hôtels for long term rates. Jennifer answered and right away she was super nice and very willing to help me. She spoke to her boss who gave me an awesome rate and I was booked in for 2 months. I decided to go with this hotel mostly because My first contact with front desk was amazing so thanks to Jennifer I booked. Upon check in I was greeted by Steven who made me feel so welcomed after a long journey of several flights and bus rides. He gave me recommendations of nearby restaurants and stores. My room was amazing. It was so clean, big and Beautiful.pillows were clean and smelled nice. Internet was perfect. Tv was awesome! Nice heaters that worked well in the cold SK winter. Many reviews mentioned lack of hot water… it’s been fixed. Water is piping hot, never had a problem. It’s quiet during the week and you don’t hear other guests. Breakfast is awesome. They had everything a typical hotel breakfast should have, juice, coffee, tea, milk, cereal, oatmeal oranges and apples as fruits, sausage, bacon, eggs i n the hot section, bagels, waffles, toast, many condiments and spreads… muffins, yogourt sand boiled eggs…what more can you ask for. The gym had an eleptical, cycling machine (resistance was broken) threadmill, free weights and a flex training machine. Unfortunately it was sub zero freezing cold and very unpleasant to use. No heater I the gym and it never got fixed. Pool was about 8m and hot and had a kids slide. There was a hot tub as well. Hotel at walking distance from Walmart, Boston pizza, Tim Hortons, 7 eleven, real Canadian superstore. It is across the street from the Parkland mall. I love this place and so happy to be here. Jeanette who works at night is also absolutely amazing. Everytime I had a problem, she fixed it. I felt quite lonely spending Xmas alone in the hotel away from my family but she kept me company …I’m so grateful for her kindness. Thank you Quality In, you never disappoint. Thank you Jeannette, Jennifer and Steven, you guys are rock stars.

My room smells of cigarette smoke. I asked to be moved but am told it's full. There are 8 cars in the parking lot. I won't be back. Holiday Inn Express is much cleaner.

Check in had a “rules” list you were forced to sign which should’ve been an early warning for what was to come. Water slide hours are a joke, only open Friday to Sunday and for limited hours, not sure why it can’t remain on for longer hours. Also they want one adult supervising in pool area for each kid 16 and under which would push max capacity with just a few families. Needless to say multiple families were disappointed with several sports teams staying there for the weekend and the staff couldn’t wait to shut down the entire pool area early and blame the kids.

We received multiple noise complaints for just walking in the hallway and talking in our room. They even had the nerve to call the police on us and the officer laughed when he saw 6 adults in the room simply talking and could not hear any noise himself until he was at our door. Staff also consistently harassed our kids that were in one room together which the kids even videoed so we could see just how unprofessional this hospitality business is.

This was our only out of town tournament for the season with parents and kids looking to be together for the weekend and this was definitely the worst experience we’ve ever had in all of our years of travelling for sports. If you are a team in Yorkton looking for a hotel for the weekend I would definitely not recommend this place, you will be hugely disappointed.

The room was good but a little warm but we figured it out. We tried the hot tub and found it to be chilly actually needed to be a few degrees warmer. Thank you

I was totally disgusted with the lack of customer service. The bigger gentleman at front desk is very unpleasant asked if my CAA discount was taken off he says yes the bill says different. The room we had was filthy the beds were worn out could feel the springs in your back. I promise I will never ever ever stay there here again. The only positive to the stay was that we had a room in a city fully booked. I had not one encounter with any of the staff that was pleasant, in any fashion. Had I had another choice I would have left and went elsewhere in a heartbeat. Cold shower in mornings. When walking past the front desk all you seen was staff on their phones literally. Just a very unprofessional place period.

Didn't show no rooms available. Online wasn't until I got to the front desk and he told me there's no rooms available. Huge waste of time driving over there. Not impressed

Terrible. Rooms are dirty and ACs are full of mold. We all woke up sick. Don't look behind the bed if you want a good night sleep. Waterside not active during weekdays. Would have been nice to know before booking.

I don’t recommend for anyone, stayed for work we had 6 rooms and the maids stole thousands of dollars of stuff between all the rooms. Go to another hotel.

Garbage place to stay. Room smelled musty and disgusting. Made my son sick. When checking out early and made complaint was told ‘awesome’ like they were happy we checked out early. Husband left his charger. When he went back was met with rudeness and unwillingness to help get it back. Lifeguard was a jerk to the children. Will never set foot in that place again. For a fairly new place in yorkton, the table in our room was warped and bathroom door was hard to open & close

Hotel itself was clean, staff was friendly. We had the unfortunate incident of someone somewhere smoking in a bathroom that vented right into our bathroom. Thankfully I had finished bathing my children when the smoke wafted down. The hotel was fully booked so when I called the front desk he just thanked me for letting them know and to close the door and turn on the fan.
Breakfast was ok, eggs and bacon didn’t look that appetizing. We went the safer route with toast and yogurt. Took some pre packaged muffins to go.
On checkout the kind lady at the front gave us a price adjustment to help make up for the unfortunate smoking incident. Probably would not stay here again as my brother was staying at a different hotel and had rave reviews about it.

Hate Yorkton and every hotel we have ever stayed in here, but this hotel was so welcoming, professional, accommodating and the rooms were by far the cleanest of any hotel stay we've ever had. The room rates are also some of the lowest we have ever paid. The lady working the night shift made the entire experience really nice.she completely changed my opinion of staying in yorkton.

Stayed for 5 nights over Christmas.
Very clean and well maintained hotel.
Every member of the staff was very helpful. We had a few special requests that were dealt with promptly and professionally.

Looks nice, but thin not soft blankets and breakfast start at 5, over at 9am?
But I left my necklace in the bathroom, they called and I was able to get it back, thank you!

Quality Inn there is nothing Quality about it. The sheets of the bed had crumbs in them and hair before we crawled in. There was a huge tear on the bottom of the pool. The bike in the gym was obnoxiously noisy. The key swipe for the gym didn’t work it took the front desk five minutes to get the door to open. Not impressed.

It took 1.5 hours to check in because they do not let you pay a deposit on debit despite their website saying "Use of a debit card to secure this reservation may result in an authorization hold on your bank funds in excess of the room rental amount. " The lady at the front desk was not friendly or helpful in trying to get me checked in.

The room was not clean. There was hair in the bathtub and the bathroom floor, dust on all of the lamps, the alarm clock, and the hair dryer, and gum stuck in the carpet. There were multiple hairs and different colors of lint on the top blankets of both beds and there was a sizable nail on the floor behind the tv. All of these things should not be present if the room was adequately cleaned, despite the website stating "Guests will experience new and improved cleanliness protocols. "

For $150/night, in a 3 star hotel, I was very disappointed in both the quality and cleanliness of the room and the type of service. We called the 1-800 customer relations number and were told that it is the discretion of each hotel on whether or not they accept debit payments. I am shocked that they would allow any of the hotels to turn someone away who had reserved a room and was willing to pay, regardless of the type of card being used.

+Housekeeping service was on the highest level.
-Maintenance team needs a bit more attention to the details.
Overall happy with my choice.

They allow reservation for a room on their website using a debit card, but then refuse a cash deposit using it to check in. Requiring a credit card after having an explicit option to not require it on the reservation is frankly absurd.

They will also not allow you to call a family member and use their credit card for authorization over the phone.

Incredibly misleading and unprofessional.

Find a hotel that's willing to let you pay them instead.

The hotel staff are amazing. You can tell they love their jobs because they are like a big family. I stayed here for a week and the service was absolutely amazing. The rooms were immaculately clean and they provide free breakfast which they now deliver to the rooms because of COViD. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for an affordable, friendly and awesome experience. Thanks for the great stay! Will be back!

I was barely greeted upon arrival. I asked if the front desk was able to store a plant I was traveling with so it didn't freeze in the car and the gentleman named Steven at the front desk was very rude and refused. I imagined that like most hotels they have a place to store luggage if guests need, but I guess that was not a possible place to put it. The last 5 hotels I've stayed at on my move across Canada have been more than willing to accommodate. I don't ask for much. It's just a little heavy to carry up to my room. I have been driving for 4000km so also asked if it was possible to stay an extra 15min in the pool. I've been really stressed and sore and that was really all I needed but I got a sharp "no closes at 10" very rudely. There was no one in there and likely wasn't all day.i do understand if that is policy but have a little respect for guests. Most people staying in hotels would much rather be somewhere with their loved ones instead so maybe show a tad bit of kindness in the way you speak to them. Steven could really afford to work on his customer service skills. Just because he is miserable this evening, doesn't mean he need to make paying guests miserable. Worst front desk experience I've had in a long time.

Chose this hotel because of water slide so kids could have fun but was closed because of covid bs. Very disappointing. Great location, walking distance to most anything.

The price was good as well as the location. The only thing I didn’t like was that I was able to book the room with my Visa debit card but they wouldn’t let me use that as a card to have on file for the room upon check in. I even offered to pay for the room right then but the person at the front desk said that I could not do that. I ended up figuring out something in order to get into the room but that policy needs to change.

One of my coworkers had bed bugs in his room. No critters in mine. Always check your surroundings.
