Real Canadian Superstore

My wife and I go there every other week for years, spent almost 600 dollars, and a weird looking loss prevention guy with big earrings start harassing us and following us everywhere we go, to the point my wife thought he was a stalker or something because of the way he looked. As an interracial couple we like shopping at multicultural stores because of their variety of products and the sense of security they provide, not by scaring the costumers away, and superstore still failing their customers by recruiting unprofessional loss prevention employees.

The liquor store was racially discriminating against my boyfriend and i when we came in to buy some beer, they interrogated us about our age the second we walked into the store when we are both way over the age of 19. They did not leave us alone and even called the manager on us when we already gave our id to the cashier and were on our way out. This is unacceptable and neither of us will be going there again.

Great selection and service. It was quite busy for the morning and found some customers were a bit pushy in the aisles.

Was in rush, otherwise complained it to store manager to show how your staff was behaving with customers. Girl handing return was rude and racist. Give her some training how to talk to people.

Make sure you check the expiration dates on what you purchase there. Long lineups at cash registers.

Mine experience wasn't as pleasant here, I normally go to the real Canadian superstore on Confederation drive, but as my friends suggest I visited here, but my experience was very below my expectations. Things weren't on there place when I was looking, most of the stocking shelves were empty, cleanliness wasn't good.

Canadian superstore is just SUPER! Best deals, always lowers market prices, friendly staff. Store is very organized.

Great place to shop. Got everything I needed. The international section has got mostly all spices and home foods I require. Only bad experience I got was the parking lot. It's winter and the floor was all black ice, I drive a small front wheel drive sedan and it took me over 5mins to maneuver my way out. I should buy a better car or perhaps, RCS can throw in some salt on the floor.

There is no food item that you Can't get here. Great place. Compared to other other superstore you can find some rare items. Bread section is massive and price range is good. If you are particular about bread section then i would suggest save on foods is better option. Overall its a large super store.

Well.first of all. I'd like to thank the president.his choice in produce and products.second. I'd like to say how super this store really is Canadian.

Most tills were open, deals were to be had, and everyone seemed to be in for them. There were a total of 6 shopping carts in the lock ups. That was 5 more than we needed though.

I no longer go to this superstore. Far too many vagrants. Before I would get out of my car, they are knocking on my window looking for spare change. On one occasion I was approached 3 times, twice before even getting to the front door and once when leaving the store all by different people. The management doesn’t seem to be doing anything about it so Superstore has lost my business. Or should I say Super-vagabond has lost my business. No more for me.

It's was better then the last time i went there 6 months ago.last time the food lies were gross.very crowded.lies

Dirty. Too busy. Understocked. This location has a vagrancy problem that superstore needs to address. Don't park on the west side of the lot unless you like being harassed by panhandlers or seeing intoxicated people passed out. Tend to your lot superstore! It's getting out of hand.

I was paying on self service area and I needed help scanning my bulk apples and the staff named Nita wasn't willing to help me and said I have to do ut on my own. It was non busy time and she refused to help customer. I ended up stopping paying on self serve even I have only couple of stuff and went in line.

Hit the liquor vendor part, then out for groceries, huge selection, found all we needed and more, friendly cashiers

Good place for buying grocery or any house hold think very large section all products available and they have fresh bakery to ohhh ya now liquor store in this location price is lower then other store

My favourite grocery store in Saskatoon. Is the only place that I can find some plantain from Ecuador?

Liquor store should have flyers so that we know whats on sale. If they did, they'd sell alot more.

Lots of selection and good sales. Costco has nothing on superstore! Superstore variety is second to none!

Asked the staff about one of their stock. Answered with a rude tone stating, " We have a stock on the shelf, did you even look? " They have a very worn out box of the said stock and different color from what I wanted and explained it to her but she didn't seem to care to get a newer stock. Left the store disappointed.

I came in and noticed a lady was wearing her mask around her neck instead of on her face so I asked her to put it up but she totally ignored me and kept humming along with a big smile on her face. I found it odd that none of the staff were stopping her to ask her to put her mask on. I asked a staff member to ask her to put her mask on and when she did the woman said, "You should talk to your supervisor. " and refused. When they called their supervisor the supervisor told them it was their cousin. I'm disturbed that this woman felt entitled to disobey public health orders and endanger other patrons because her cousin is the supervisor. The supervisor must have known since they immediately knew who it was that wasn't wearing a mask.

They were all out of heinz chili style beans but the store was clean and had a vast selection of products, good store.

Went for the first time in a while to compare prices. Some things are really great value. Fresh vegetables have gone up in price, like every where I have shopped.

My only place of Grocery shopping in Saskatoon is the Real Canadian Superstore. They have every thing on their shelves for daily life needs. Best part is free parking area outside or underground. Price is reasonable compared to other grocery stores in town.

Does not discriminate and respects medical exemptions. Unlike Dad's organic. I will be spending out 1500 a mths here now.

As a trucker. All my company delivers to is loblaw stores. It's-35 out with the windchill. The manager said he was sending someone to let me into the dock to unload. Left me there for about 30 min and still didn't open the door. If they treat the people that bring products into this store this badly. I imagine the customer service is a joke too.

This was my first time shopping at the 8th street location and it was the worst shopping experience I have ever had. During the height of the pandemic, the place was packed, no dedicated rows with arrows or social distancing procedures in place (with the exception of the plexi for their cashiers and customer service team), and the place was absolutely filthy. The produce section was a complete disaster, the shelves had been picked through, and I wanted to douce myself in sanitizer when we left - I will not be returning.

Not safe!

No one way aisles. Everyone pushes past you without giving personal space. No workers available in the food section of the store. I spent 10 minutes looking for help and found no one!
Worker at the checkout took down their mask during a transaction! Walmart is safer than this place, and cheaper!

Good place to get specialized ethnic cooking ingredients but lots of people not wearing masks properly.

Earlier today, when I went grocery shopping and finished checking out my items, I was double checking my receipt. As I went through it, I was stunned that Superstore had charged me an item, that I didn't purchase. I immediately headed back to the reception desk to resolve the problem. They finally figured out that they had put the wrong code on the wrong item. Finally, they adjusted my receipt and refunded my money. By writing this review, I encourage that all customers should double check their receipts to make sure that you aren't getting charged for the wrong thing. This can lead to confusion and loss of money.

Had everything you'd ever want and more, say they're not making people follow COVID protocol as there were a few people without masks, one visibly coughing (could just be an old smoker) but they should be making people follow it if it's the rules. I'll go elsewhere for my groceries until this is over

Good prices and selection but always too busy during peak times. Packed everywhere. Rather pay more to shop somewhere else.

Undoubtedly the most affordable place to shop, at least in Saskatoon. And it is interesting to know that, superstore may have a very wide selection of ingredients for that craving you miss from far away home.

They always have a good selection, a variety of ethnic food and I love the PC Points! Sometimes they are out a specific item, but they still have way more selection compared to other stores.

I'd say this store has improved in some ways, such as: all the cashiers seem to know what they are doing and they all follow the same policies (no more being told I cant do what the last cashier said I could) ; the staff is much more polite; and it usually isnt ha4f to find an employee to help.
However the lineups are dreadful! They need more express cashier lanes! Half the people in regular checkout lanes only have a handful of items because the express lineups are 20 people long EACH.
Also, if you need to go to customer service, set aside some time because you will wait in line an average of 20 minutes or more for a 2-minute transaction.

Best place to look for a variety of products and groceries for a steal of a deal! Use the PC points or pc mastercard and boom save save and save some more!

Real Canadian Superstore is probably my least favorite of all the big box grocery stores their produce is not nearly as freshers Sobeys their prices are okay but not excellent between Costco and Sobeys pretty much can beat almost everything that goes inside of Superstore. They're understaffed I'm trying to get somebody to help you there is like pulling teeth. They have lots of cashiers but realistically why do we have cashiers at all any longer nobody wants to work those jobs and we could have automated that stuff 20 years ago. Long and short I go there for very specific things and not much more

Exactly what you expect out of a superstore. Nice heated parking in the winter and if you time your grocery shopping properly, you can avoid some of the chaos. Produce is not always great, and they are frequently sold out of some common items like margarine squares or 250l cartons of cream.

It is a good store. A lot variety, but still difficult to find things if you are visiting for first time. I think they should introduce some way to find the things easily we are looking for. An App or may be entrance guide on parking spot.

Got what I needed and now I am ready for the weekend. They are usually good with the sales and having stock on the shelf

Love the PC Express grocery pickup service! Store has great stock and ordering online makes life quick and easy with three kids. Perfect store for our busy family!

Have been visiting this store for the last 10 years and never had any issues almost all the time wonderful experience but today at pharmacy an attendant had very rude and unprofessional attitude. Hope someone responsible can teach her customer service ethics.

Variety galore. They have next to anything you could ask for at an affordable price. From time to time you can go in and produce will be out of stock until the next shipment but it never lasts for long. All in all, quality products for the price.

Lady at the till picked her nose then said nothing after we paid and went to leave. Like how about have a nice day?

It had a wide variety of products and most of them had display boards with what the given section has.casheirs were quick and freindly. The carts needed a dollar before being taken and it will be returned once you out the cart in a designated place.

It's one of the better "Real Canadian Superstores" I have been to. The fresh produce section could be a congested at times, but overall it is worth shopping at.

10+ minutes to get through *express* self checkout today. Store is normally grubby and unorganized-at one point toothpaste was in three seperate locations. Only reason I continue to go is because of location.

Superstore is a block away from me, very handy! I always shop there for all my food needs, as well as make up, hair products like hair color, very good brands of shampoo and conditioner, household goods like pillows, sheets, clothes, kitchen ware, and I also get all my prescriptions there. The prices & selection are great! The ppl who work there are always pleasant & helpful.

It's a huge super market to find kind of everything you need for your daily use stuff, and many items are pretty cheap as compared to others. Vegetables and fruits are always found fresh.
