Regent Family Restaurant & Neighbourhood Pub

I was here in November and am just remembering to leave a review!
I was vising Regina from Saskatoon and stopped here late that evening before hitting the road back home. It was late and I was surprised to find that a sit in restaurant that was open at such a late time. I believe it was a Tuesday night around 10 or so.
The staff were so friendly and happy to serve us. The restaurant was quiet, clean and cozy. The food was excellent and i was certainly impressed by the amount of food you received for the cost as the portions were amazing! Will definitely be back next time I’m in for a visit!

We were recommended this place by friends when we visited Regina. It is a restaurant that they always visit. The food was really good and the price was much more affordable than expected. I wish we weren't in such a hurry that visit. I'd have loved to try drinks and dessert!

We just discovered this hidden little gem! It doesn't look like much from the outside and is tucked into the corner of the plaza, but the inside had great atmosphere, fantastic service and even better food! Serving sizes were huge and their Greek fries are to die for! Everyone in our party left awed!

This is our 2nd time for breakfast and I’m impressed with the quality of ingredients that they have, specifically the meat. They definitely don’t skimp on the food and the service is also on par

Got the pork souvlaki with rice, greek salad, T-bone steak with a poutine, and a ceaser salad. Very delicious! Really recommend the steak, poutine, and greek salad!

Order anything vaguely related to Greek food …. Honestly I like their pizza and subs. It is diamond of a place.

The food was ok. The service was ok. So that's why I'll give you 4 stars.

I'd strongly recommend you put a fan outside your door to clear the air. The covered area right outside your door makes for a cozy spot for smokers to linger and their smoke remains after they are gone. It's really gross to have to walk through a smelly smoky area entering and exiting your restaurant. Every time I visit there, it's a reminder why I don't go there more often. The inside is nice and clean. It's unfortunate you have that bad first and last impression.

My favorite family owned restaurant in all of Regina, their pizza is phenomenal and portion sizes plus flavors on other menu items make this place a must try!

Went to watch the last half of the Rider game. It was decent.service was good. Staff were friendly.

Went on a Friday right at noon, thinking we might have a wait.
As soon as the server saw us, she was very friendly and professional, and came around with great timing.
Food arrived so early we were pleasantly surprised. It was delicious, probably one of the better meals either of us have had out in a while. Delicious fries!
Pricing seemed very reasonable for how much food we got.

When in Regina definitely check this place out. The food is fresh, delicious good home cooking style and generous portions for great prices. The service was great Highly recommend this place. Just perfect Thanks

Food was pretty good. If a few things were done differently would make it great. For example, the pizza was so close but I don't know what it was if it was frozen meat or the mushrooms must of had a lot of water in it and it completely ruined the crust making is soggy and wet, other wise the amount of ingredients, the quality of ingredients was great. The Ceasars salad was good but not great. The lettuc was great, it was fresh but the Ceasar dressing seemed "canned" or mass produced and same with the croutons. I would go back but was somewhat disappointed after reading raving reviews like "it was the best pizza I'd ever had in my life. " I realize that's perception and my be true according to that person but was a ways off the best pizza I've ever had.

I was recently in Regina for a friends wedding and was looking for an excellent, Regina style pizza that I have always enjoyed. Regent was mentioned as being an excellent spot so we gave it a try. We ordered a large, all dressed pizza. The pizza was loaded with great toppings and loads of cheese, exactly the way pizza should be. The sauce was very tasty and very well balanced. The service was excellent and had a great chat with the owner, George, who runs a fine establishment. Would recommend Regent to all looking for a delicious pizza and more.

Regent easily has the best pizza in Regina when you get it very well done with extra sauce. However, maybe 25% of the time, the crust comes underdone regardless of if you ask for it well done or not. Happens everywhere but it's always a huge disappointment when it happens because it's so God damn good when it's cooked right.

Food was so yummy, I wish I could try everything. A lot to chose from. Lot a family of staff and talking to each other across the restaurant which was annoying, but the food kept me happy lol

Can't rave enough of this place ️. Honestly speaking I didn't have high hopes at first entering the place and settled my expectations at "possible decent to average dining experience". Not so attractive interior with a touch of retro looks. Very basic and simple.
But they reminded me again of an old saying - " don't judge a book by its cover".
By far THE BEST MEAT PLATTER we have had in Canada till date. They say it's a platter for two but can easily satisfy four hungry people.
Highly recommended.

Service is very fast.it took them hardly 15-20 mins from order to table.
Definitely going back again but with bigger gang.

Ordering delivery through Regent has been a bust. I've ordered twice and both times parts of the order were wrong. Today, they brought the correct item after I called, and the driver was so sweet and apologetic. So it should be all good right? Sadly, after a couple slices of our pizza I noticed the dough is stuck to the bottom of the box. That's when I noticed it wasn't cooked. It is sticky. You can stretch and work it like literal uncooked dough. I tried to take a pic for ya, not sure if you can tell, but I'm reluctant to eat it and even further disappointed because I had bought it as a treat for me and my spouse!

When I left Regina 37yrs ago Sammy's was the best pizza in town.
I'm back Sammy's is gone and Regent has the honors now.
Delivered hot, fresh, in one piece and amazing! Calgary has some good pie but Regina still has the best pizza in western Canada. Thanks Regent

The pizza is awesome, the service was awesome only down fall is the swinging kitchen door banging on the back of our booth. Simple fix to get a 5 star

Ate here tonight with my family four people for under $90. Huge portions, really tasted good, very friendly service. We will be going back.

My favorite place to have a meal or watch a Rider Game! Friendly management and staff, good prices and value.

Absolutely amazing pizza and salad - the whole family ordered in for the Giants vs Dodgers game last night. Typically when you get pick-up pizza it ends up soggy, cold, and bland. It arrived piping hot, fresh, and no grease. The salad was fresh, crunchy, and full of flavour. Pricing is great for gourmet pizza as well. The only disappointment was that we ran out so fast - the 2 XLs were gone in literally 10 minutes between 8 of us.f you haven't tried Regent you are missing out!

Went to this place after work I am quite disappointed this is the second time I've been here its not busy still I got seated right away they got me what I ordered fast the servers were polite but seems like they're in their own world they kept zoning out it look like I had the
French onion soup and the deep-fried mushrooms two separate dishes the French onion soup tasted old dirty water tasteless the mushrooms were fantastic

Great food.prices are high for this reason (its not tj's lol). But one thing: considering the premium price for such great food is fine, but they should grant free delivery, not an extra $6, especially on my order of $75.

Over the years, I have read on social media, and heard from friends, how good the food is at Regent. Tonight, we finally got around to giving it a try. I love my liver and onions and this placed knows how to cook that dish. Neither the liver or the onions were overcooked, the French fries were cooked golden brown (I dislike undercooked fries) and the veggies were good. I had no idea of the portion size. Next time, I will definitely be ordering the Senior size as I could not finish, though I gave it my best try. My wife had the chicken souvlaki with Greek potatoes. Her meal was as good as mine and she needed a container to bring home her half finished meal. Our server was Jenna and she was friendly, polite and competent. A long time friend was in The Regent, when we arrived, and she said it is her favourite place. She believes that the pizza is the best in town. The place has a relaxed vibe and we will be back.

Always friendly, caring and professional staff. To top off the amazing service is an endless menu that the kitchen prepares perfectly every time. You will not be disappointed.

Excellent service from the bartender and waitress. Both were polite and friendly while maintaining accuracy at a fast pace. The owner was pleasant and added to the over all enjoyable atmosphere! Will definitely be returning.

It's a nice Greek restaurant with great food, pleasant staff and atmosphere. Good prices as well.

They have excellent servers and the food is awesome. I can guarantee you won't finish your meal off. They have large portions of meals.excellent place to eat.

I took my father-in-law here prior to the Rider game and definitely was not disappointed with the food and the service here. The Mushroom Swiss burger was extremely delicious and the atmosphere was pretty relaxed, exactly what we wanted after a long drove from Saskatoon.

Giving this place 5 stars, ordered our New Years platter from here and a pizza. Oml portions were awesome. First reveiw of the year for me.

I ordered nachos on NYE, I was asked if I wanted toppings. I said yes. Picked it up, went & shared with my Mom. No toppings. Was hungry but I could have made plain nachos at home. I went out of my way for regent. I live beside a Houston. Won't do that again.

Great pizza with a sweeter marinade flavour. Love the Monte Cristo sandwich too. Mmmm. Love the staff. Great in lounge environment too. VLTs for a chance at luck! Miss the pool tables!

I have ordered on line (not Skip the Dishes) twice now and have been extremely satisfied both times. The pizza & dry ribs arrived very hot and quicker than their order page said it would. I will definately order again in the future and try out some of their other dishes.

We ordered one of the take out specials. Medium pizza was hot and fresh. It’s the thick Regina-style pizza that has a crunchy crust and almost soggy bottom. Dry ribs were hot and oil tasted clean. Cheesy bread was excellent. Caesar salad was fresh. Food was amazing. Highly recommend.

Love the Regent! It's been a favorite since I was in university. Never disappointed with the food. Always come back for more. Staff and waitresses are always so friendly! A+

Bought a cheeseburger yesterday and i add bacon to it, its my 1st time to order as i want to try it. Unsatisfied with the bacon that i think was been sitting for quite a while in their prep area, it was hard and i thought the burger patty was freshly cooked, but got it a bit warm,

Friendly staff, good food, plus there's a lounge beside the restaurant and they have vlt machines. Good place and clean bathroom.

Always a great place to go for coffee and eat. Food is great, been going there for many years. George and his staff are always amazing.

The best restaurant in all of Regina, the staff are always friendly, food is always 10/10, a very clean restaurant, I could probably eat here everyday if I could.

Ordered from this place all the time. I have yet to receive an order that was correct. Tonight I ordered 2 salads with extra dressing. They gave us one small container for both salads and nothing on the salads themselves. Not sure what the issue is but wont be ordering again. Tired of being disappointed EVERYTIME I place an order. $45 for 2 salads, you'd think they would give you some freaking dressing. I'll be taking my money elsewhere from now on.

The shrimp scampi was amazing and when the waitress told me it was dinner for a week, i thought it was a joke. It was awesome and i had to take away

Always a good time! Love the service! The hit one with curl blonde hair is awesome! If I could change one thing build a bar for regulars too sit and chat!

Incredible service.appears to be a family run business. Lovely young ladies served myself and my dad. Biggest breakfasts for a reasonable price. FIVE STARS!
