While still Reids Home Hardware. Owner lucky to have "some" good staff. Veronica and Dean are great. We have been loyal customers for years. Now the owner and another female employee do not have the time of day to put away a small item for curb side pickup. Hello Home Depot!

It’s a tight space in here but happy that they have most of what you would need in a full sized location.

I purchased a $30 can of touch up spray paint for a textured ceiling on the advice of store employees after I explained the project. I looked the product up before applying it and it was a sealer—not suitable for the job. I took it back and they refused as they said it had been used. The lid was never removed while it was in my position. There are only 2 possible scenarios—either I am a liar or I returned it in the same condition as purchased. I am not a liar but I was treated like one. I made my first purchases at Reid's in the 70's, this one is my last.

The worse I got kick out for one of the employees for just walking around looking for the stuff I need after I move in to my new place with the excuse that it is not a store to browse around.

Had a member of staff just now follow me down every isle. Refusing to help another customer because he was "busy" following me around the store. I'd already purchased some items and left them in my bag at the till, I then decided to look around as I always forget I need something after I leave. Guy finds me and follows me more. I walk home and decided to make a complaint I should get the guys name. So I call the store and that guy answerd the phone. Refused to give his name was snotty over the phone. Terrible customer service. Everyone else at the store was nice. Definitely won't be returning to this location ever.

Staff always helpful. Didn't find what I had been looking for, but sometimes has products that the Bigbox stores don't have.

I used to love this store. But the owner is incredibly rude and doesn’t stand by his products. He sold me something I don’t have the receipt but want to a straight exchange. Because I didn’t buy the pink hammer he wouldn’t change it. (a dishwasher piece that was too small is what I bought) told me to come buy another one there should be a straight exchange especially since he remembered me from earlier that day!

Always friendly & good selction of quality products. Its always nice to support the smaller shops!

There is a young lady name Veronica that works there. Everytime I go in to get something or have questions about something I'm looking for, she is always there to help. She does a great job explaining the product and if their store doesn't have it or sell it she does her best to still help what you are looking for. Very friendly. Thinking on dropping coffee for her to say thank you! Do love shopping there!

Super helpful, I didn't even end up needing to buy anything, they helped me solve my problem with the parts I already had at home:)

My husband called about a snowblower that we are not satisfied with and they told us they can't do anything and hung up on him? !? Horrible customer service.

The best hardware store in the city, bar none. The manager in particular is impressively attentive and helpful; he knows the exact location of everything in the store and will happily show you to the item (s) you need should you require help. This is the closest thing Saskatoon has left to a classical, non big-box hardware store.

So much variety at decent prices. Always end up buying more than I went there for! Grabbed a BUNN coffee pot regular $199.99 on sale $149.00 wow

This is my favorite home/hardware store in the city. So much stuff. They have everything. The staff is so friendly and helpful. Staff is always available to help. (unlike other stores). Free parking beside the building too!

If you can't find it somewhere else you may just find it at home hardware. They have alot of stuff. Stop by and browse.

I usually get uncomfortable stares from a few of the employees but it has a good amount of things to help improve your home and etc

Warning! They do not take back items you buy there. They lost a lifetime shopper today because of that. Never get treated like this at home Depot, so I guess that's where I'll go from now on

Bought a shower fitting and unfortunately it doesn't fit. Reid's home hardware didn't accept it for return not even a credit with a fee. Now I am stuck with a $150+ item that has no use for me. So disappointed. Will never shop there again.

Very very expensive and the man who Owen the stor is very difficult and mean to anyone. I will not go there again Not happy.

Worst customer service. Be careful about thier return policy. Once paid, they may not return few items even immediately after the transaction.

Nice place to shop. They have a little bit of everything from kitchen taps to lawn care products.

I love Reids! So much supply in a small area. I like too that you can buy nails and screws by the pound unlike some big box store. I found home Reno solutions here I would gave never found at bigger stores. Plus staff are super friendly and work hard to help you. Thanks for being in our community!

I really enjoy shopping here for household items, the staff are very kind and helpful. The location is perfect for people who live in Sutherland and don't have a vehicle to go to other stores in Saskatoon.

Love my local hardware store. Lots of variety, had exactly what I needed for my fix it job today.

I have always enjoyed this store for their selection of items and convenience of location. However they do not accept returns, despite signage saying that they do. They would not accept exchange of an unused pair of shears in original packaging, with receipt, and within the return window. When asked about their posted policy, I was told that it’s just the way it is. This behaviour is quite misleading and unethical. Customers deserve to know at the time of purchase that all sales are final.

Home hardware is a pretty sweet place. They have very friendly and knowledgeable staff. They will most likely have what you need.

Needed some new shovels and ice melt for “the storm of the century”. Great selection and friendly service. Small town feel in the city. Happy to support local.

Fred and his team are the best. Best place to just go and browse so many things you didn't think you needed. Knowledge and friendly staff always there to assist, no waiting for help like at the big boys. Reids is always my FIRST stop and usually mt last stop.

Man, if you're looking for the local hardware store that is real eager to help this is the spot. They don't have sheets of plywood or 16ft 2x4s but if its a tool or accessory or just about anything you need to do day to day repairs this is the spot.
The staffing is ample and friendly and knowledgeable and ready to talk to you about what you need. Get over here and let them help you make something.

The staff were extremely helpful when in directing me and ordering in something when they didn't have any stock! There is parking down the side of the building in case you don't want to park out front and pay.

Great place to get what you, very friendly and helpfull staff, and if do not have what they order it for you.

I like the store because they usually have niche things that I'm looking for, and prices are decent.

However, it seems like every time I go in there the owner is incessantly/publicly nagging at his staff to the point it makes you feel uncomfortable.

You get followed around by staff if you're first nations, felt very uncomfortable being there, WILL NOT BE BACK!

I love this store and have been a shopper there for many years it's like going to a Hometown Store They're always so helpful!

This store (on Central Ave) is packed full, and looks a little dingy. But I go there from time to time because Home Hardware carries some tools that are really innovative and no one else carries. Once, one of these had a rubber compound in the tires that really smelled. But most of the time I've really appreciated the stuff I've bought there and their service has been solid-attentive and (if you go to customer service in the centre of the store) generally well-informed.

The were very friendly. Tried to help even telling me where to go when they didn't have the product.

The owner is such a nice guy and so helpful. If they dont have an item it they will order it for you if possible.

Friendly neighbourhood small hardware store. Went to get my lawnmower blade sharpened ($15) and pick up a few small things for lawmower maintenance. Staff were ready to help and was out of there in 5 mins.
