We had a great experience working with Reliance Gregg’s on our new garage heater. Our Advisor Azhad Fadhil, worked closely and diligently with us to cover all the options and ensure the right installation for our circumstances. The installers were very competent, both professional and personable, and they got the job done quickly. We’re very pleased with the result and happily recommend Reliance Gregg’s. Another 3hrs on phone because as usual call volumes higher than normal. Wonder why they are? They still can't grasp auto debit so forcesd to go back to paper billing. They also told me there is no location in Saskatoon. Also, coworker of mine is being charged for a more expensive furnace than what was installed. He's been waiting 2 months for resolution. Once they have installed equipment you are nothing. SHOP LOCAL!

Through no fault of the technician who came to do my yearly maintenance my visit had been added late in the afternoon to his schedule. He worked overtime to make sure my job was completed, saving me having to reschedule and wait months for an appointment. I very much appreciated this technician's professionalism and willingness to go the extra mile.

Yesterday I had a problem regarding dripping coming from the furnace luckily they send a good technician named Alex De Lara he figured out and fixed the problem easily. He is very knowledgeable person and did a good job. Since then I always checked if there is a dripping but until now I didn’t see any problem. That’s why I am very satisfied with the service given by gregg reliance and their technician. I definitely recommend them to my friends and colleagues. Thank you for your good service and keep it up always

Call Center is difficult to communicate with, we needed to book a furnace diagnostic and repair however we were pitched a maintenance plan 3-4 times during the call. The call Center was pushy and asking us why we would not sign up for the monthly maintenance plan. The call was lengthy and laggy. The technician himself got the furnace working but it quit a five minutes after he left. He was professional and kind. He quoted us $600 for a pressure switch, and the call out was $100. Since he got it going we didn’t need to authorize repairing parts because he said if it fails again then to call. We called the next morning informing the call Center that it is not working again and they wanted to charge me another $100 to have a technician come back to my home, and said I cannot get my $100 back that I just spent the day before because I didn’t authorize repair. Didn’t have a good gut feeling with this company. We went through a local shop instead and found out there is nothing was wrong with the pressure switch, It was my control board. Moral of story: Wasted $100 on diagnostic that it didn’t even need, and if I spent $600 on the pressure switch it would have still needed a control board.

Heater was installed the day after it was ordered. The work crew arrived on time, completed the installation the same day. Workers were courteous and left everything in good order upon completion.

Our hot water heater sprung a leak on a Sunday. Reliance (Brian) was professional and quick to respond on a Sunday afternoon. Logan and Mike installed our new water heater. They were knowledgable, efficient and very professional. Highly recommended. We will be switching to Reliance for future needs.

I had booked an A/C maintenance inspection but your customer service booked me a furnace inspection. I had booked a furnace inspection for September 13th which was not in your records. Your technician fixed things up.
You definitely need improvements in your customer service. It has really gone down hill since Reliance moved it away from local contacts.

I am thankful for the help and advice from Alex and Jassen on the purchasing of an air conditioner. They were both knowledgeable and patient with my many questions. Also Ferdie and his partner (I don't recall his name) for their quick and clean installation. The electricians Dylan and Wyatt came did their job and left, also timely. Now we are complaining that our house is too cold.

Renting 2 A/C, having those units for a month, already broke down twice. Always late, always have to call back and rebooked an appointment. Very poor communication on the phone.nothing good to say about that company

Called to get my air conditioning fixed someone called to book an appointment and said there is a $99 service fee for diagnostic which would be rebated when they fixed it so I agreed. Someone called me and said They knew exactly what’s wrong with my air conditioner without even testing it or looking at it. They said it’s not fixable and would have to replace inside and outside units.said they can put a new one in for approximately $10,000. So I called another plumbing and heating service they came and looked at it and fixed it for $300 reliance still hunting me for 99 $. I have explained why I don’t think I should pay them as they diagnosed nothing and They don’t care. Neither do I reliance

Made a call. Logan called me back within 10min.he showed up 20mins later, found out what was wrong.fixed it.he was polite, friendly, fast, knew what he was doing and didn't make a mess. I will call here again when i need some plumbing done. Thanks Logan.

I was provided a quote for a new furnace and ac end of May/21. I did not shop around and within 30 days of the quote I emailed the salesperson to start the process. Unbelievably I received an email 8 days later advising he would be gone until the fall and to just call the main # call centre. Again I didn’t shop and called the call centre only to go through 3 people explaining my disappointment and poor service (all I wanted was a new furnace and ac). I was told on July 2 that the local manager would be calling me. It is now July 12 and no call. Unbelievable. I’ve negotiated with another local company. I do have a good laugh when I see reliance commercials with there 56,000 satisfied customers.

They are so professional and friendly especially the lady that installed our water heater. And to Sir Colin who came to our place and give us the quote, he is so good he made sure that everything is good and he doesn't mind answering all your questions. Nice friendly and professional. The technician was able to troubleshoot the problem and make a timely repair. I was pleased with their performance and knowledge in fixing the heating problem of our furnace. He offered suggestions for furnace replacement by setting up an appointment with a sales technician.

I tried to use this company. They did not take Visa or MasterCard over the phone, an e-transfer or pay pal. I am a landlord of a property in a different province from where I live. The only way they would take payment is through my tenant. Naturally I was not going to involve my tenant in the payment process.
They have an outdated inconvenient payment process and I will never use them.
I called another company who will send me an invoice and accept an e-transfer.
I have never had a company make it so difficult to pay for a service they hadn’t even started.
Never again.

During Christmas our furnace quit working they were able to come right away and install a new furnace did a great job cleaning up after they were finished very happy with their work

The local people I rate 5 stars, but I rate the call center 0 out of 5 stars in eastern Canada. They will not book a call after 3 p.m. Reliance call center expects clients like me to take time off from work to be available either all morning or afternoon. I thank the local Gregs Reliance for being flexible and coming out after 4 p.m.

I would give more stars if there were more. Stellar prompt service. Technician came earlier than expected which I was soooooooo happy about. Joel explained what was the problem. Made a suggestion and did what was suggested. Very thorough. Highly recommend this place and Joel. My go to if there are other issues with furnace. I called because of aging toilets in my home. A total evaluation of the plumbing was done and found several must-do's for safety, which I was unaware of. Services were booked that day, and started immediately. Andy McGhee presented all service and payment options clearly and honestly, and I was able to make a decision fully informed and without any pressure. Work was completed in a timely manner, as Andy worked quickly and efficiently. His friendly manner (to people and pets!) was really appreciated. I found his easygoing, professional and personable attitude great to work with, and his workmanship was amazing. I highly recommend Andy McGhee through Gregg's Reliance.

He showed up early. He explained everything in detail what we needed and why. He explained all the paperwork as well in detail. If you bought a new house and Reliance did the furnace and ductwork, watch out! Do not hire this company unless you are a homebuilder who wants someone to sign off on an inadequate HVAC system. They knowingly installed a furnace in my house that was too small, and knowingly installed inadequate ductwork. I spent 2 years complaining that my house was cold, and had Reliance come out many times. Every tech said my house had issues and that they would help me solve them. They all said they would go back to the office and talk to Larry. Larry, who is in charge of new builds and was in charge of my house, is very unethical and is doing something very shady. He always said nothing was wrong. He was fully aware that my house had issues and that he signed off on it. If I asked him questions, he would suddenly say he couldn’t talk to me. But he did tell me that they did no calculations for my furnace size, and did no design for the ductwork. So after 2 years of trying to work with Reliance, I made a negative review online. Within a few hours, Kathy (who I had never spoken to before) called me and started yelling at me! She told me I was using unprofessional tactics and that Larry had been with the company 30 years and didn’t deserve a negative review. The very same day, Larry admitted that my furnace was too small. Reliance came and replaced my furnace! But the ductwork is still not sufficient. I asked Reliance to test the airflow (cfm) out of my ducts. They said they couldn’t test it because there was literally no airflow to test! They said they put the ductwork wherever the homebuilder told them to (with no design and knowing that it was not adequate). And once again, they have said my house has major issues. When I asked who I could talk to about it, I was told the buck stops at Larry. The “office of the president” reached out to me after my first review and said they would look into it, and I could contact them any time. But I have tried touching base with them and haven’t heard from them in weeks. I live in a new house. My daughters bedroom can’t get to room temperature even if the thermostat is set to 30+ degrees. And the “competent professionals” who installed the heating system in my house have said it is definitely inadequate. But they are now nowhere to be found. If you want a company to knowingly do the job wrong and then walk away, definitely hire Reliance!

I had called Reliance for a plumber to look at my kitchen faucet as it was leaking and spraying. Cody came and quickly found the cause. I needed a new faucet and decided to get a new double sink too. Cody worked quietly and energetically. He helped me make decisions and he had me use my new equipment so I was comfortable. Then Cody did a second review of his work before he was done. I have full confidence in Cody's work and am so happy with my shining kitchen equipment. Thanks Cody. You get a gold star!

My mother-in law had a 12-year old furnace and with the cold arriving this season, we realized it was barely working. With cold and snow in the forecast, we called Reliance Gregs to come for an inspection. We discovered her furnace manufacturer (Maytag) had gone out of business and no parts were available and the only realistic option was to purchase a new furnace which was around $6k. With just three days before the cold weather was coming our salesperson, Jansen Maitem, jumped into action with late night texts and a revised quote that was needed for the Sask Housing grant my mother-in-law required to afford the furnace. With Jansen's help, a day later the grant was approved and the following day the new furnace was installed with NO deposit or service fee charged to my mother-in-law. Truly, we are appreciative and our trust in Reliance as a high-quality, professional company has sky rocketed.

It's worth noting that the repair grant was provided by the Saskatchewan Housing Corporation. We expected this would be a difficult process because it is administered by the Saskatchewan Government. However, their staff member Michelle Wourms was nothing short of amazing and helped us through the grant process. Realizing the urgency, and the stress and discomfort to a 90-year old widow, Michelle ensured we followed the correct process and that followed the approval process through to completion and informed us of the approval within 24 hours.

Overall, what started to be a stressful week for my mother-in-law, turned into an amazing customer service experience. There is no doubt that if it were not for the efforts of Jansen Maitem with Rialance and Michelle Wourms with the Government of Saskatchewan, this would have been much more stressful and with today's snow my mother-in-law would have been stuck in the cold, anxiety ridden. Instead, she is resting well and enjoying her home. THANK YOU Jansen and Michelle.

The technician was amazing and did a great job for the furnace issue that I had. However, booking the appointment over the phone was not easy with their call center. The guy in the call center could not understand the simple furnace issue that I was trying to explain to him (I said three times that I wanted fan switch for my furnace and he thought I was asking for an air conditioner). Also I’ve received multiple phone calls from Reliance sales agents trying to sell me a protection plan for my furnace.

Jansen and the guys were great! They Answered all my questions in a professional manner. They never got frustrated at all. He took his time to make sure we understood everything. They wore masks and gloves. They cleaned up after. They made sure it was working properly before they left.

Reliance Gregg's were at my house at 11pm on a cold Sunday night in the middle of January. My furnace was toast. The technician told us it was unsafe to operate and showed me a huge crack in the heat exchanger. He then drove to his home to retrieve several space heaters to get us through the night. The crew showed up Monday morning and had a new furnace up and running by the end of the work day. The courtesy and professionalism was exceptional.
