Ordered delivery; they messed up on an item but were quick to redeliver the proper item. The food is amazing here and is our new go to! Great prices as well! Highly suggest!

I ordered from Restaurant 224 tonight at around 7: 40 pm and the Food Booking app said about 45 minutes. At 8: 05 the 4 person combo arrived, piping hot, and very fresh. Delicious meal and very fast service! Will definitely keep ordering from this hidden jewel!

Very small quaint family restaurant in Saskatoon. It is such a hidden gem. The prices are very affordable, the portions are large, and the food is always delicious. The best Vietnamese food I've ever had. 10/10 would recommend this place.

Very clean restaurant and great food however service is poor. Couldn't get me coffee refill and just felt ignored.

We sat and waited a long time to be served even though the place was not busy. It was a simple mistake though they thought we had already ordered. The food was amazing though and a really good price!

Bought chicken fried rice, fresh rolls and deep fried shrimp and it was $22.cheapest but super good food.well go back.

Came here for dinner during the last day of my recent short trip to Saskatoon. I ordered a pho and for some reason, it took half an hour to arrive. However, the server was nice and apologetic, and he seemed like a hardworking lad. The pho's portion didn't seem big initially, but it actually had a very good amount of meat, and I was quite full in the end. However, the pho didn't come with basil or mint, and normal (yellow) lemon was given instead of lime. Otherwise, I was happy with the pho.

Tom Yum Soup is amazing! Don't miss out on that, the vermicelli bowls are too! I work downtown and come here for lunch, its fast, convenient, affordable, no other Asian restaurant downtown can compare for prices for sure and great service.

Food is great, place is great, owner is great. But PLEASE, teach the younger lady to be more patient to her customers when taking orders. Saying “anything else? ” after each item over and over when there are 4 more guests about to order comes off as impatient and in a hurry for no reason. Also, my friend ordered 1 item, was about to order another, but then she asks “anything else” as she’s about to walk away to attend to a person who came in for pick up.

We get it. It’s busy. She probably does not mean to be rude, please just show more patience and don’t be in such a hurry.

Small small portions.dinner for me and my 2 kids was 32 dollars.not worth it.repeated missing items to 2 workers and one fully ignored our many attempts to gain her attention

My #1 go to place for Thai style Ginger stir fry! I’ve been searching all over Saskatoon for the Thai style ginger stir fry and finally tried Restaurant 224…. Needless to say I will only be ordering it from here!

Myself, my family, and my colleagues all love 224! We find ourselves often craving 224, and it's always a treat.
Their menu offers a large variety of delicious Vietnamese favorites. I love their daily special, spring rolls, and deluxe wonton soup, in particular.
Every order has always arrived perfect and carefully packed. The food is consistently delicious, fresh, and made with quality ingredients. The portions are quite generous for the value, as well. I have never had a disappointing experience, and the restaurant staff are wonderful.
I wish I could upload pictures, but I can't make myself wait long enough to take a pic before digging in.

If you want quality food and expect great visual presentation highly recommend this place compare to the place down the street. Price is reasonable and people that work there are very polite. Also very fast service. Also please expect give them time if you order take as they probably deal with volume of customer at times

This restaurant offers cheap and filling food. Lots of quantity for the price you pay so definitely a bang for your buck but the taste of the dishes are just about mid.

Butter fried Chicken wings - 7/10 crispy although after the fourth bite it just starts to taste very oily and super fatty

Wonton soup - 6/10 not bad just okay the wontons were eh though

Sizzling Crispy ginger beef - 5/10 not crispy, more wet and soggy. The veggies were crunchy!

Chef’s fried rice - 7.5/10 taste like any Chinese restaurants chefs fried rice! Lots of bbq pork, chicken and shrimp on the dish

Overall, if you want a restaurant that give you a bang for your buck and not really care to much about the taste at all then try this one!

Food is very bland and unappetizing, portions are tiny. I usually don't give bad reviews, but this was quite bad. Would not go here again. Spingrolls were pretty good tho

I wanted a noodle bowl and all other places were closed. I hate going downtown because of the drug addicts and lunatics roaming around. I was able to park very close in a well lit area. I only encountered one weirdo and he blew me a kiss. The restaurant is super clean, comfortable and food was excellent. Big portion, great price, very satisfying. Changed my view of the area, honestly. I'll definitely be back soon, thoroughly impressed. Some nights I lay awake, almost able to taste the moist grilled chicken, the soft but crispy spring rolls and perfectly cooked noodles. If drowning it in fish sauce is wrong, I don't want to be right. A piece of my heart will always belong to Restaurant 224.

Update: Washrooms very clean and modern. Big privacy stalls and wheelchair accessible.

Delicious and fresh. I wish the ginger chicken had a thicker sauce that stuck to the meat better, but that’s just personal preference. Great service. I will be ordering again.

Delicious and cheap (and they don’t skimp on the meat)! Chicken balls, salad rolls, stir-fried rice noodles are all amazing.

Excellent food dishes and a variety to choose from! No matter your taste or how much your tongue can take, they've got plenty to go around for everyone. Spicy options as well as hot or cold meals (like Vermicelli noodles!). I've known the people who had worked there since I was a kid, the fresh faces are extended family of them! So I really feel at home there, despite the differences between us.:) You may feel like family there too if you stop by for dinner there.

This was the first time I ordered online from 224. I ordered a Deluxe Wonton Soup to my house and when I received it all of the broth was spilled out in the bottom of the bag. I did eat the contents without any broth and it was tasty. But I definitely would not order delivery if this is the state it gets delivered In.

Ordered there last week with a group of people, and we made a large order.
All the food came basically uncooked, except for the rice, and the Shanghai noodles (which were over cooked). We had to put everything in the microwave for a few minutes just to be able to eat some of it.
Most dishes came with next to nothing for sauce. Threw most of it out.
I emailed the owners with my receipt and my order issues, and called the restaurant three times before anyone even acknowledged me.
I was responded with excuses, and a tiny discount on my next order. Not worth 1/3 of the amount that we had ordered worth that was wrong. Hey, we all have bad nights, but management should have fixed the issue.
Times are hard enough as it is, and if you don't value your customers, and them spending their hard earned cash with you, then you don't deserve it.

Yummy food. Love the daily noodle bowl special, excellent deep fried prawns, and the wings are very good too. I also love the chili oil they include with my order. Fast, in house delivery. My new go to Chinese/Vietnamese restaurant.

I came here on Friday with some friends and our server was great he was very personable and gave us some good laughs. Truly it was a great time and would definitely come again. Food was great too even though I had trouble with the chopsticks.

Had to try this place because there's so many good reviews.needless to say, my food (rice dish with sauteed sauce) was amazing.you can tell it's good when your walk through the doors and the immediate smell just makes you more hungry.cozy layout, has tables and booths, not sure why I had to ask for chopsticks and other things but it's probably because of COVID? I'll definitely have to go back and try other dishes

Food was priced fairly and we got served quickly. Went during non peak hours. Had a big family booth available for children.

The food was great quality for the price but it's not the nicest building and a very unique atmosphere. I will go again but it's not the first place I would recommend to someone

Incredible food and taste! The chicken cabbage salad, veggie rolls, and sauteed beef rice noodle soup is all amazing. Went back for more noodles the next day. Highly recommended.

How have I never been to this hidden gem? ! I was invited to a lunch meeting here and I'm grateful for the opportunity to try it out. There are obvious new renovations that give a pleasant, modern look. The menu selection is fairly standard, but there are a couple specialties. For myself, I ordered my standard fare and was impressed with the quality and flavor. All around excellent!

Holy…. I’ve never felt the need to leave a review, but this is one of the best spicy noodle I’ve ever had in Canada! Got the sautéed beef noodle (max spicy), it’s incredibly good! Very good flavour………………. Send help I’m addicted

Staff is super friendly, service was super fast, the food was delicious, and the price is amazing since my giant noodle bowl was under $10. Additionaly, as a night owl, being open until 3am is amazing, this is the definitely perfect place to get a midnight "snack"

One of if not simply the best pho in Saskatoon. Authentic and thick broth without being oily. I had the beef noodle special and it is the best I have had in Saskatoon.

I've ordered from here a few times. The food is good and the prices are, too. When I say I don't want wheat anywhere near my order, I'm not instilled with confidence when you throw in a a fortune cookie; first ingredient: wheat flour.

Update: I ordered again; this time with a buddy. I clearly marked Dinner for One - A as being for someone with A BELL PEPPER ALLERGY (just like that in all captial letters) yet they still put them in.

I don't know if I'll order from there again. It's too bad. The food tastes great.

Had our first delivery from 224 tonight. The food was fresh, delicious and best of all it came to the door smokin' hot! We definitely will be ordering again and recommending to our friends.

I used to go here regularly in college over a decade ago when it was a proper hole in the wall. Now they have modern decor, fancy washrooms - and the same friendly, peaceful atmosphere that I remember. The staff always take an interest in you, the ownership cares about your experience, and the spring rolls are second to none (and I've had spring rolls all across Canada.) The noodle bowls are delicious and filling. I enjoy adding a Jasmine tea to the experience here. And the prices are absolutely excellent. We dined in today, and there's plenty of space between tables for safety - they're clearly following pandemic protocols. I would expect no less from a family business that makes you feel like family, too. I'll be back!

Came in on a cold day, ordered the #8 to start and it was at my (very clean) table within 5-6 minutes and they were very good. Love the atmosphere in here and the friendly service. Very nice layout and a perfect place to eat if you're downtown. Definitely will be coming back again! Thanks guys!

Food was so good. We got the ginger beef, Shanghai noodles, and spring rolls. Everything was hot and fresh, service was fast and friendly.
