Safari Inn Motel Swift Current

Wasn’t in a smoking room but had cigarette burns on my sheet. Found many hairs in my bed. Felt quite grossed out staying at this motel.

Would stay here again! Cute decor, rooms named after safari animals.

I was confused because I couldn't find the coffee filter (it comes right in the bag with the coffee! Haha) And since there was no sugar in the room the gentleman went above and beyond giving me the sugar cubes they usually use as I'm allergic to the sugar twin they provide.

This little place was just perfect for what we needed, and the price was just a bonus. It's an older place but kept very clean.
We would definitely stay here again.
All the places.we needed like restaurants and a drug store was all on the same.road. Very convenient.

My kids loved it here because our room was called the flamingo room. Just basic room was clean and not over priced, service was quick and easy check in

The staff was very helpful and polite. The room we stayed in was a bit dated but was very cozy, the beds were comfortable, and the price was excellent! Highly recommended!

A little “holiday in a holiday” if you stay here. The rooms will take you back to a time gone by. Fantastic value!

It's an old hotel.water was yellow when you first turned it on. The location was good to get back on the highway.

We were having trouble booking with the website, so I called and they gave us the room for the website price.we have a service dog and she was accepted no problem.clean rooms, great friendly staff.will definitely recommend!

Absolutely an amazing time and Swift current Saskatchewan there's a lot of history in this motel and I'm so happy they kept the original sign what they need to do though is actually make the rooms a little more authentic to their names I stayed in the hippopotamus room

Great place, great people, comfy beds, cheap cheap. So happy with this hotel. Got storm stayed and was able to cook for our trip to the east coast and sleep well with two bedrooms. Had everything we needed, even a large coffee pot with good coffee. I was very impressed for the price. Yes it is a older hotel and showing it’s age but if you want to support the corporate world then stay at those hotels.

Great value. Clean and quiet. No nasty febreeze or other scented cleaners. Great friendly staff. Giving 5 stars as i now appreciate this place more. I recently tried the Comfort Inn just up the road 2 blocks.thinking it woukd be a upgrade to the Safari where i had stayed once before. Boy was i wrong. Comfort Inn desk staff was really unhelpful.wouldn't honor a price given on the phone.and worse. I was asked to leave as i was upset and dared question. Good thing as if the rest of the Comfort Inn experience was going the same direction as front desk.would have been ugly. Back to the Safari and very happy. And room was 70 instead of 120. Yes its older building but well built and quiet. Im not going anywhere else.

Seems like a great little motel. As others have said the guy at the front desk was great very friendly, the motel is situated the right way as to not just reflect the noise of the highway. The rooms are brick and block so reduces noise even more couldn't even tell I was directly beside the highway. Nice TV with a mini fridge and microwave, room looks nice and clean as does the bathroom.

*Update can't have the AC running while watching TV and running the microwave or pops the breaker and loose all power to the room. Not sure why there is 4 breakers but once one goes everything including the lights shut off. Should probably loose a star for that but I still like the room and motel.

We have one of our Medics staying here and we have heard nothing but positive feedback from her; she DOES NOT plan on leaving anytime soon! We plan on staying here for as many months as we can. The staff have gone above and beyond to make her feel right at home. The staff is nothing but friendly and Jag has gone out of his way to help us with anything we have needed. We have paper work that needed to be filled out and he went out of his way to print everything off for us and get them to her, it was a small gesture that went a long way. The rooms are all very clean, beds are comfortable, the internet is high speed and all for an AMAZING price. The hotel is remarkably close to the highway but surprisingly you can't hear a thing, the walls are very sound proof. The hotel is also very close to any services like shopping, food and gas station! WE LOVE IT HERE!

Excellent service, I stayed there for months and the room was always clean and customer service was bar none. Highly recommend! Also great amenities close by.

Nice, homey room. Stayed in the kitchenette room which provided about revert amenity you could need to live in a hotel.

Front desk staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was generally clean, with the exception of a surface that was clearly not wiped down. Would stay again.
