Safeway Cathedral

Staff are nice, pharmacy staff are very helpful, and other shoppers always seem to be so polite.

Would’ve given 5 stars had the residents of Regina not been so rude and arrogant! Nothing particularly surprising and nothing against the store itself but I think it’s due to the physical location within the city.

Good option in Central Regina, but lack Asian and international food option. Always understaffed.they accept scene points so it's a advantage.

Well set out, clean and could actually find what I was looking for. I was disappointed that I waited for 8 mins at the deli counter and no one asked if they could help me, so I checked out at self check out and left.

Dimly lit doesn't feel like your shopping inside a space ship. Easy to find items and self checkout.

Fairly expensive but close to home. The Scene program is useless, Airmiles was better. I don't shop here as much as I used to.

This in a great place for all you need if you live around close to it. But if not it not that bad to gey to and to shop at if you do not mine paying little bit more!

Frequent good sales, Air Miles, Starbucks and a pharmacy attached. Good floral selection. Could do better with school safe products, though.

Horrible experience, will not be back here. First they accused me of stealing (which I didnt), Then quickly dug through my bag when I went to the washroom, then demanded to see my receipt. The Guy looked miserable and made me uncomfortable.and then once I left the store and looked at my receipt, I noticed they scanned an item twice so I paid double the amount for one item, I was having such a great day until I came here, The way I was treated here upset me. I should have just returned everything, got my money back and went somewhere else. Will not be back here.

Best Place In town to get grocerys. Clean organized excellent staff. Love to see Goldie in the aisles she has to be the best at welcoming you and making you want to come back. Bread is always fresh.

I have been getting my groceries from there for about 4 years now. The overall product quality was 4/5, since sometimes they do not have the freshest fruits/vegetables. However I would say the general selection of goods in this store is pretty decent. Of course, they do not have the real speciality items, but that is to be expected.

As always this store is amazing. Such incredible selection of organic and healthy foods. Fresh produce.meat and bakery. The lovely floral store at front when you cone in smells so cheery and is so bright. Staff always go above and beyond and interact and spend time with customers. Good sales and stock supply. By far my favourite grocery store in Regina.

Saskatchewan Government, "Effective Friday, September 17,2021, a public health order is in effect requiring the use of non-medical masks in all indoor public spaces in Saskatchewan, including schools. "

Presently this is a valid health order until February 28,2022. Yes, I did file a formal complaint on the 2 Safeway's (Cathedral and Southland mall) I have been to who is openly, presently ignoring this.

A bit costly, but really good stuffs. Fruites and vegis are fresh and best. Baking section is awesome. Nice to have store near you

Deli hours not the same as store hours. I was denied deli 30 minutes before closing simply because the employee did not want to clean the slicer again. I suggest co-op harbour landing where the listed hours are the same as operating hours.

Just there today to pick up a few things, I ussd to buy at regent park safeway which is unfortunately closed permanently so most times I go to North Gate location. I've never had a problem at those locations or previously at this one but after today I will never go back to this store.
The store was far from being busy so you'd think a little service would be easy.
Pharmacy was serving no one but apparently too busy to allow me a minute to verify what I needed, sorry I forgot the name.
Staff at grocery tills was just as bad, the only positive experience was the polite security person coming in and leaving the building for the last time.
I certainly won't judge other safeway locations with this bunch as I've always had great service at the others.

The most poorly managed grocery store I have been to during the pandemic. Rather than have an IN door and an OUT door, they bottleneck their customers into a face to face confrontation in a common entry/exit with ZERO space for social distancing. I do not suggest shopping there for about the next 3 years, if you can avoid it.

Very clean and organized. I like the self check out. They have marked arrows for traffic flow, however it's never really crowded which I like very much.

There is security at the front door with people sterilizing carts and making sure every customer washes their hands. As a customer during this pandemic, I am really happy to have a grocer that is taking these extra precautions seriously.

The staff at this location are fast working and very friendly to customers and each other. It also has self check out. Along with a Starbucks that includes a washroom.

Very sloppy and not customer friendly no baskets to lazy to clean them, then they have people going in and out same door workers could care less.my first and last time very poorly organized.

Staff are always friendly! The manager is a great guy and always greets us and has a chat when he sees us. Everything you need is right there without having to go to huge, busy places. Love Safeway Cathedral!

Some of the staff are great! The others are racist, I would be alright if I didn’t get followed every time I go and get groceries. I know why I stopped going to this location, for even the simplest/easiest shopping lists.

I prefer to drive to the south mall location.

I love that this location has a Starbucks inside. It's conveniently located as well. Usually clean. Prices are just a little higher on some things then I would like, but always great produce.

This place only gets 4 stars in my mind.reason is that there is always large holes on the shelves with missing products and the produce is mediocre at best. Another negative to this location is there is always someone begging for money or food outside and to the point of harassment almost.nothing done by the staff to address the issue. Bakery is great but the deli staff not the most efficient or friendly.the check out lines always seem to move well and till staff is good.

Great local shop. Could do with a larger produce section and they are lacking on their bulk food items. Perfect for when you need to run and pick up something quick.

THe manager Marvin was super helpful he found and rokd me what aisle to get stuff in right down to the exact shelf o find it on ya gotta love that about shopping thank you safeway

Carts now lock at edge of lot.sad for the seniors who depended on using carts to get their groceries home and for balance. Now must rely on family members to take them shopping. Usually shop at larger centres where they can dine and shop like a mall or Wal-Mart.

Nice neighborhood grocery store. Decent bakery and deli inside the store. It also has Starbuck cafe inside. Plenty of parkings.

I love the staff there, they are so friendly and helpful and outgoing. Safe way has a great selection of produce and an organic section which I frequent alot. I love this Safeway, its the unspoken cornerstone of cathedral and has been for years, this supermarket helped make cathedral what it is today bringing healthy food to the downtown area of Regina:)

Safeway is quite expensive and fails in meat and produce. I bought some hamburger and it was tasteless and full of sinew. We were going to buy some fish for a "buy 2 and get one free" when they meant you get the 3rd one free. Sneaky and deceptive marketing. Across the street is my butcher and fish monger. Buy your meat and fish there.
