Safeway Lawson Heights

Overcharged again from what tag price was. Also the prices are very high compared to other local grocery stores.

Produce is always soft and gone bad. They don't keep up with it. I don't want soft, squishy anything for my food, who else even would. It's always bad here

Always a great shopping experience. Staff are super-helpful and they have a large selection of everything in all departments. Love that they lowered the shelf heights a bit.l'm short and l can actually reach items on the top shelf now.

I shop at Safeway because of their convenient hours - open until 10pm and they have a wide variety of choices for most items.

Safeway is always awesome! Especially this one it's very new and nice.prices are higher at Safeway on alot of items.

I have some environmental allergies (lactose, soy, gluten intolerance) Didn't have them until 3 years ago, when I was 60. I was raised on cow milk, homemade bread, etc. Why I suddenly became intolerant is anyone's guess. Anyhow, Safeway has a section called "Wellness Foods" and most of the replacement foods for the allergies I have are all in one area. Makes shopping a lot quicker. I don't know anyone who likes to go shopping, especially when allergies make you wander the entire store to find foods you can eat. So, Safeway has my vote as the best store to shop at.

I ordered banana cream pie from the bakery. Never knew that u can order pies. I thought it was limited to cakes. The banana cream pie was tasty. Thanks bakery department.

Best Safeway in the city. Lots of parking, easy to get to, and plenty of selection. Great baking and deli too! And in the mall with access to other services rather than a typical big box. Not to mention some of the best grocery store employees!

Make sure to check any best before dates. I often find dates that have expired or are just about to. Today I grabbed yogurt that is a week old and had to put it back. Always excellent service at the checkout though.

Lots of choice of produce, clean, neat shopping experience. Bakery had my order ready and waiting.

Very well layed out and clean with alot of good products, it's night and day compared to a superstore or independent

I will not visit this location again. The gentleman ahead of me let me go ahead of him and the cashier very loudly snapped at myself and my daughter that HE was supposed to go ahead of me. I told her he let me go first since I had less. She was very rude at the end of her shift.

A great place to shop and if you go there regularly it's amazing how friendly and close the staff become to you its a great experience all around and I sincerely love the friendships and wonderful visits I have each time I go there!

Well laid out and always clean. The best grocery store bakery in the city. Friendly staff and great customer service. Cashiers are always delightful. Great meat dept and pharmacy too.

Very pleasant environment. Staff are friendly, helpful. Store is nice & clean. When I order or puck up flowers, I always buy from there.

This is one of the better safeways ive been to. Its a spacious store with a variety of grocery products.

The usual Safeway, a large store same layout as other Safeway Stores. Nice staff good produce and bakery.

Very good selection to choose from however I find the store to be a little pricey on certain items.

It's a newer Safeway, so it's spacious, has pretty much everything you could need, and a Starbucks. ;)

Always a good experience shopping at this location. Only issue is that they are sometimes out of an item I'm looking for. Excellent bakery items and always fresh!

Excellent customer service. So refreshing to have someone bag my groceries instead of handing me my bags and looking at me impatiently to bag faster!

Little bit of a weird layout but overall pleasing to shop there. Covid procedures are maintained properly. It is in my top 5 best grocery store locations in the city.

I love the lawson heights Safeway. They were quick to add in COVID-19 safety measures and have been diligent to add more as time goes on. The arrows on the floor are very clear and easy to follow.
The produce here is always fresh and well displayed. They have a wide selection too. The bakery is great and everything else feels well organized. The shelves are well stocked and the staff are usually pleasant and friendly.

Not usually too busy, always fresh stock and never bare shelves.just wish their sushi wasn't shipped there.guess I'll just have to keep going to other stores for that. But prices are reasonable and the layout is easy to figure out

Super clean, following all the covid recommendations and more, good sale prices, friendly staff. What more could you want in a grocery store?

Awesome deli hot food, lovely ambience to sit and enjoy coffee or food before or after shopping. Fresh produce is always in stock with exclusive natural food section. The bulk section is so well maintained that it is always easy to find, weigh, grab and go! I love the fresh seafood collection of the store! Finally before leaving I always feel tempted to buy a stick of rose or a new pot of lovely green plant for my home. Overall it is a place to enjoy for me while I shop! Keep it up!

It was ok except no bananas no distilled water no slimfasr or the the ice cream bar I could always get at my regular safeway on 33rd etc

Store is clean and bright. Love their coffee shop area. Some groceries are overpriced compared to the competition down the street.

Cold and pouring rain, yet everyone, staff and shoppers, were just lovely and happy today, Sept. 26,19. I had fun, shopping at Safeway, this evening!

Shopping is a breeze. Everything is easy to find with a friendly helpful staff. Blue friday has some great deals. A must to check out today.
