When I arrived, they informed me that my hairstylist was sick (at the last minute), with no phone call or anything. It was too late to cancel the appointment because they had taken a $100 deposit and assured me the fee would be the same as with my previous hair stylist. The new hairstylist seemed to understand what I wanted and then did the exact opposite. She left uneven curtain bangs and a large blob of dye that was supposed to a one side money piece that I wanted to be blonde but is grey. I had to return the next day, but it appeared that she had messed it up even more. After paying $350!

Convention located in auto alley in asaskatoon, so if you are getting oil change or service work done on your vehicle.you can go pamper yourself here! Pedicure, manicure, esthetics, hair cut/colour, even shop through thr collection of clothes in the boutique. All of this on the 2nd floor of the VanWyatt Collision building.

It was a great experience but they didn't discuss price with me and the service was a bit over what I wanted to spend

Megan gave me one of the best pedicures I have ever had! She was so sweet and I will definitely be back soon.

$400+ dollars for a standard
$150 max service. Shame on you. Buyers beware of false advertising. Avoid this salon at all costs

Gorgeous space. I only heard about it recently. Felt like a little hidden oasis. My mom and I had pedicures and they were fantastic. Definitely recommend.

Sage has been fulfilling our families hair needs for years… gorgeous space, amazing cuts/color and always above and beyond customer service. The best Saskatoon has to offer!

I'm not typically a fan of going to get my hair cut or talking during hairstyling but I had Karla and the experience was fantastic. She was able to accommodate coming in a little earlier than opening time and made me feel very comfortable. I've never had someone pay so much attention to detail while cutting and styling my hair. Highly recommend seeing Karla. I'm not typically a person that commits to a specific hairstylist since I don't typically care that much. But I will definitely be changing my ways and making a point to see Karla to get my hair taken care of. She did an amazing job.

The space is beautiful and inviting. Every person on staff makes you feel so welcome while you’re there. The stylists are extremely talented and seem like they’re always on top of extra learning and training. I love coming here! My kids love coming here! The best salon in the city, hands down.:)

I have been coming here for a few years now so it’s about time I leave a review. Not only is it a beautiful salon but Rachelle is a master in her craft, does my hair perfect from colour to cut every time. Amanda has been doing my lashes from my first ever extension appointment a few months ago and I can tell she has been doing it for a long time, super knowledgeable, she’s quick and she’s great with conversation and I don’t know if I’m just lucky but my lashes could also definitely go past 3 weeks. I love my time on the lash bed with her.
I follow a few of the artists on Instagram and see that they are also always taking training of some kind which is awesome.
I send all of my friends and family here. A friend of mine had an issue a few weeks ago and without hesitation or questioning they were super happy to fix the issue. That’s a business I will support.
I don’t think this place is expensive when you look at the expertise they have and products they use. Not only that but knowing you are going to get 100% great luxury service every time.
I always look forward to coming here to de-stress and get a little pampered.

Your hair is in exceptional hands with Kassy. She has been helping me achieve my hair goals for 15 years. Her passion for her craft is evident with every guest she interacts with. She is constantly pushing herself to improve and refine her techniques. One of her greatest qualities is her ability to say no to a bad idea. I can’t count the number of times she has talked me out of getting a perm. She listens attentively and understands what the realities of my life are. I trust implicitly that she would never pressure me into a hair maintenance schedule that was outside of my comfort level. My advice is to pre book with Kassy as far in advance as you are able.

I never post but felt compelled to. This place is amazing and made me feel beautiful again after having my second baby! Lash lift for the win and making me feel gorgeous with no makeup on especially in these months post baby. Love you guys! Xoxo

I travel 18 hours to visit family and get my hair done by Rachel every year she is great. Unfortunately she was not available on the one day that I was passing thru, So I thought I would take another Hairdresser and would be fine because the place is a very high class place and I know that her staff would be well trained… I was wrong, my hair was brass and green in places… definitely not what i wanted… I did not know what I should do, cut it off, let it grow out. I was very upset. But I decided to call the business and tell them the situation. They immediately got me in with my hairdresser Racheal, fix the situation my hair is beautiful and it is soft and exactly what I wanted in the first place. If you have a problem you just have to tell them and they will fix it. I will continue to be travelling to this place for as long as Racheal works there. Excellent staff and excellent Owners

I had a good experience the first time I was there. The shampoo experience was probably the most relaxing I have ever had and the girl who cut it was very nice. I did have to go get it re trimmed because one side was a bit longer which they were nice about and didn't charge me for and it was nice to feel heard. However, I went and got a bang trim yesterday, which, I fully take responsibility that I had cut them myself beforehand because they were in my eyes for a while but regardless they were still on the longer side (under eyebrow) when I arrived. The girl asked if I was okay with them being a bit shorter, I said yes, assuming she would only take a bit off the middle, as she knew I was growing the sides out to blend in to the rest of my hair. I opened my eyes to see a very short, straight across, blunt bang, the sides being the same length as the middle and had to stop myself from crying. She is a lovely girl so there must have been a huge communication error there but unfortunately I'm back at square one and it will take at least 4 months to get the side length back to being longer then the middle pieces so it can blend in with my hairline. Unfortunately they are too short that there isn't even anything I can do except wait a few months. I don't think other people have had a similar experience to mine so I hope mine was just very bad luck.

Janine has been my nail tech for a while now. Not only is she the best nail tech I have been to, she is very professional and she is always open to my weird colour selections. She is easy going and I have a great time everytime I get my nails done. 100% would reccemend.

Janine at Sage Beauty Bar is amazing. She’s always thorough with her services and never skips anything. Her personality makes me want to come back again and again, it feels like you’re chatting with a friend when you’re in the chair.

I can’t say enough good things about Karla. Not only is she an outstanding hairstylist, she is one of the nicest people you will ever meet. Brandee is the best! She takes care of our entire family, including our 19 month old. My hair always looks great when I come out of the chair. I'm a sucker for a good scalp massage and she does them best with hot towel and facial most times if she is not too busy. She does amazing hot shave and facial as well and the environment is always relaxing and refreshing. I've been going to her for a few years now and would recommend to any guy who cares about their appearance.

"I recently tried this salon for a brow wax and tint. It had great reviews online and looked great in the pictures. In person Sage was a beautiful salon and I really liked the atmosphere. The staff was friendly and welcoming, although tried to up-sell me on services. The shape of my brows was nice but my skin was severely damaged in the process. I do not use skin thinning products and I have gotten my eye brows waxed several times in other salons with no issues. This has occurred on two occasions at Sage. The first time it was minor and I thought perhaps a rare mishap. The second time however it was much more severe and quite painful. I do not want to be contacted, I do not want a refund or a discount. I just wanted to objectively share my experience for others who are reading these reviews. "

She will always make sure I’m taken care of with different services like waxing and hot shaves, making sure I look good, and feel good. Definitely recommend!

I had been looking to get a haircut ever since salons opened after lockdown. I wanted to give it a try to a different salon since, I wasn’t satisfied with the service I got from my previous barber. I heard good reviews about Sage The Beauty Bar and so I made an appointment with one of the hairstylist there name Brandee. As I got there the whole staff was very welcoming. The facility itself was very nice. I explained Brandee how I want my haircut to look like and she went over the details of how she will cut it and what touch ups she can add to make my hair look dense and healthier. After cutting my hair she gave my hair a good rinse and shampoo. While shampooing my hair she noticed hair breakage. She suggested this really good shampoo and conditioner called Revive to prevent breakage of my hair. She was very informative about how to take care of my hair and treatments I can do to make my hair look healthier. I have been seeing amazing results after getting consultation from Brandee. I am looking forward to my next appointment at Sage and excited to share my results thanks to Brandee.

Sage is such a clean, beautiful salon. & I am glad we found the right stylist for us here.

I went in with a friend of mine and my family for a full day of feeling beautiful! I was captured by the atmosphere and how lovely the place looks. But did not have a very good experience. I went in to get a cut and color for virgin, dirty blonde, fine hair. What I was promised was 30-50 washes. She put the dye on. Washed it out and did the cut. Everything seemed to be going good. Until after I left. I let my hair sit for longer than 72 hours and then washed it. All the color came out in one wash. I talked with the stylist. Nothing but excuses and not being helpful in explaining what happened or why it happened. I talked with the owner and she didn't let me get a full sentence in without cutting me off. I paid so much and got an uneven haircut and a color that has washed out completely. I was not happy with how they treated me nor my sister (who they burned with wax on her upper eyelid area). I was so excited to pay for a good job but it turned out terrible and I never want to go back there. Even if they want to fix it. I don't trust them nor will I ever send anyone their way. Highly recommend going elsewhere so you don't get ripped off. Paid so much and didn't even get a refund. Thanks for messing up my hair! *No need to respond just wanting to share my piece! *

Stacey has been my stylist for several years! I highly recommend her. She is very thorough with her work, and I can trust her with my hair. She truly cares about the work she does, and I can leave feeling confident knowing that my hair is in good health! She is very easy to get along with. It’s always a pleasure seeing her!

Stacey is my favourite stylist ever. When she moved from her old salon years ago, I followed her. Doing the math of a haircut every 5 weeks, Stacey has probably cut my hair well over 60 times. I’ve never had a bad cut, and the experience is always pleasant. Highly recommended!

I'm a loyal client of Sage Beauty Bar since they opened in 2017. They provide MANY services - it's a one stop shop. I've gotten my lashes, hair, and pedi/mani done at the salon. In spite of doing my eyelash extensions for 3 years and getting them refilled every 3 weeks, my natural eyelashes have remained long and healthy which is a testament to their skill and the quality products they use. There hair service is no different. I always leave happy with my new do and get compliments on my hair from all my close friends to random strangers I meet at the grocery store. Stacy has been my lash artists and hairstylist for those 3 years and she is amazing. Always ensures that her work is something she can be proud of and super friendly. I always look forward to spending 2+ hours with her!

The front staff are always welcoming and from the moment you walk in it feels luxurious (the complimentary drinks & treats also help)! Definitely would recommend this salon to everyone.
