Worst experience ever. Major language barrier with the clerk and we both mostly said "I dont understand what you mean". I went to renew my contract and get another phone but when I wanted to compare two of their phone options I was given a website to find out myself. Left there without a new phone or a renewed contract.

This company is something else. I have had many issues with them in the past, and that is the main reason why I left them for Bell.

1. When I got my phone plans, I had my family on sasktel. At the time when I bought the devices, they were both on sale. When I paid them off, no one made any effort to change my bill to reflect that the devices were paid off, but instead, the plus pricing kept getting added to my bill.

2. I decided to get one of my phones off the plan because the phones were showing that they were paid off. So when I called sasktel to unlock my phone, they threatened to revert the price of the phone to its original value if I left their services. They said the sale prices were only for their customers. I ended up paying extra despite the fact that my phone bill for two devices was approximately $500 monthly without overages for some reason.

3. When I called about the overcharged financing, they told me that it's not their responsibility to inform customers of the devices being paid off. So what this means is that, you can be paying additional $20 towards your bill despite having your phone paid off if you do not look on you bill to see the balance of your device, and they will not refund you the money. Which seems like a scam to me.

4. The service sucks too. It's not like sasktel only has Saskatchewan to worry about, but the network reception is so bad.

A year ago it was 15$ for a 5GB top up and 25$ for a 15 GB top up.
It is now 15$ for ONE GB and 35$ for FIVE.absolutely obscene and disgusting practice to take such blatant advantage of customers like this.

Was a fool to renew the plan.
We need more competition from the US, lower the astronomical rates and force better speed and service overall. Sasktel Mobility is simply a victim of the cellular environment in Canada, where prices are among the highest on the planet, all have allowed this.

This review was a hard one to rate as I had the best Sasktel rep! Trent was amazing, informed, accommodating, friendly and went the extra mile to make sure I was happy. He really is the best! So I'll give him a 5 star rating. Sasktel get's a -2, and this is why: I pre-ordered a Galaxy fold 4 (awesome phone btw!), then I made an appointment to pick it up for 10am in the Cornwall Centre. Parking was a nightmare and I had to walk several blocks but I was told that on launch day downtown was my only option for pick up. Trent was amazing and got my order started immediately only to find out Sasktel had no Fold 4's in stock!? On launch day, even though I pre-ordered and booked an appointment! Trent was very apologetic and said the phone would be there in a couple of hours. I walked back to my car and went shopping. A couple of hours later Trent sent me a text saying it was in. Again it was no fun finding parking downtown Regina. I get the phone (yay.nice phone!) we're going through everything and I'm told there's no insurance I can buy for this phone. Trent went and talked to someone but they still couldn't see any insurance. So now I have an expensive phone with no insurance and a flimsy case (the only one they had). AND on my contract I had to say I "denied" insurance, I did not deny it! I'm hoping Sasktel gets it together and figures this insurance thing out so I can insure my phone. I wasted several hours as I couldn't just go home being that I'm from out of town. If it wasn't for Trent being awesome and the phone being amazing this review would be a solid 1 star for me actually getting the phone I wanted.

Sasktel should be liquidated. We need another new 5-7 companies that could compete with each other. Sasktel is a total shame. They ask you to pay but never provide service. Internet outages every day, tech support only asks you to unplug the router, seriously?

I am an old and sick man, we came to Cornwall center in Regina to take information about our account with them. The receptionist was mean, she didn't let me sit on the waiting chair, and since I couldn't stand for long, I repeated the question to her, but she asked me to wait again.

When I wanted to open a Wi-Fi account, they asked me to deposit a security amount of $220, and I canceled this account a month ago and until now they have not returned this amount to me. Why!?

Some of the most arrogant "customer care" I've ever experienced. Their call in que service prioritizes the call back options as I sat on hold for 1: 45 hours, during that time I got clever and called them on a second line and took the call back option while still on hold on the other line and in about 10 minutes.shocker! I got a call back! The one girl wasn't the most polite to talk with however I wasn't the happiest person to talk to. I ended up hanging up and used the call back option to talk to the cancelation dept and told them I wanted to cancel my service and make a complaint to a manager, I was told I'd have to wait 48 hours for a call back so I said fine, il have my number ported along with some choice words and hung up. She promptly disconnected my service with no way of getting a call back or porting my number. Absolute arrogance! # 03413852 feel free to listen to the recorded calls. For a sask crown company they don't gaf about sask citizens!

Dawson, the Cable Guy, did an excellent Job today at my building. We had some issues hooking up cable and he was persistent, called the supervisor, troubleshooted until he got the job done! If my tenant wasn’t going to be able to get Cable and watch all her shows on PVR, it would have been a headache. So thanks Dawson for doing your job so well. I have had a lot of bad experiences with some services guys who can’t problem solve and just pack up and go home. So thanks for being persistent! Sasktel you are lucky to have him working for you!

Recently had our inFiNET upgrade done. Had an appointment set for 2-4PM a week in advance so I had taken the afternoon off work to accommodate. However, buddy showed up 3 HOURS EARLY, without calling ahead. I had to come home to assist, and I mean literally assist. He had me route the new wire through the basement beams. He asked to have our dog put in the garage as he is afraid of dogs — which is understandable for sure. But he continued to accidentally open the garage door instead of the front door each time he went to go outside to work on the side of the house which was really frustrating? Not to mention he trampled our newly planted shrubs from the fall. I understand they were snow-covered and couldn’t be easily seen, but if he would have came at the appointment time we had set and that I took time off work for when I was going to be home, I could have told him where to walk instead of him trampling through wherever he pleased before hand.

All in all, happy to have inFinet installed finally, but very, very disappointed in the overall customer experience.

*Bonus: went down stairs after he left and it was freezing! He cut open the poly in the basement and removed insulation to install the necessary wiring and didn’t put it back or tuck tape the poly before he left. Just left it wide open for the cold air to flow in.

Annoyed!
Tried to phone Sasktell to get a little bit of a change on my plan. And The call center Messaging systen said a representative would pick up within 5 minutes. After an hour of being on hold. I called back and chose the call back option. I did get multiple callbacks in my voice-mail but no phonecalls. So I couldn't choose any options to speak to a representative. Guess I will have try again another day as the system doesn't seam to be working.

I went in today to upgrade my phone, and Krista was so helpful and friendly and helped me figured out some issues that came up! Definitely will be going back to see her in the future

My older Samsung's battery was worn out, so it was time to upgrade. I did some research and made up my mind on the S20+. The Black Friday price was great! So I called everywhere to find out that it's not available at all anymore because it's discontinued. Not online, not at any stores. So why put it on the list!? So I ended up going to the Sasktel store at Cornwall and getting a S20 Ultra. It was also a very good deal. I arrived an hour before they closed and Krista was very helpful. She stayed after-hours until all of my data was transfered. She was very friendly and helpful. So overall I'm happy with my experience, I just hate having done some research only to find out that the phone I wanted wasn't even available anywhere.

This review goes back 2 years. I was with Sasktel at the time with a 10gb plan. I was due for my upgrade so went in hoping to upgrade both my phone and my plan (to unlimited data as I had gone over several months over the 2 year contract). I was told that the unlimited data plan and the store credit for a new phone were only for new Sasktel clients, not existing clients. I tried to explain that if my contract was technically over, then I should be able to be set up as a new client. I was told they could not do that.so I went to Telus and switched over my service.

Fast forward to 2 years later, I'm ready for an upgrade and conveniently Sasktel has sent me a letter just in time. It states that they want me back as a client and have multiple offers including unlimited data and store credits for trade in. I go in looking to upgrade both my phone and plan again, this time S21 ultra and unlimited data. I want to trade in my note4 which is in perfect condition for the $400 trade credit, ebgames watch out you have a competitor, I'm told it does not meet their minimum ONE DOLLAR VALUE so I don't qualify for the trade credit. On top of that she tries to down sell me, telling me the s21 ultra is too new it won't fit in my budget and tries to get me into an s20. I walk out.

I go upstairs, again to Telus and get 10x better service. I pay 130 bucks upfront, get my S21 ultra, I get an unlimited data plan and still pay 10 dollars less per month than my old plan and $150 bill credit. On top of everything, I kept my Note4.

For a company that wants my business so bad, they send me a half dozen letters a year, you clearly aren't doing yourself a service to earn it. It's time for upper management to think outside the box to gain more clientele and let that knowledge trickle down to the retail staff.

Next time I'm ready for an upgrade, I won't even bother inquiring with Sasktel. I know my lowly 3 cell phones in my family don't matter to you but they really should. Service for existing clients is how companies grow organically, rather than losing a client for life.

If you are looking to lose your money then this this the perfect website. They will always send you extra bills for no reason.not to mention the horrible customer service. And your almost guaranteed to lose all your money. I don't racamend registering an account with them.

We went to the store to pay our phone bill in person. The staff said, "What? We don't accept bills in person. Do it E-transfer". We explained that we paid the bill in person previously. But the staff replied, "Do you know what E-transfer is? ". The staff had her arms crossed and the way she talked was very rude.

Some of the worst customer service since Rogers was a thing. Cannot wait to cancel my contract on July 15th 2020 and switch to a company and provider willing to work with customers. I will never recommend Sasktel to anyone.

Fantastic service. Came in for a cell phone upgrade and the lady who took care of me (sorry I don't remember your name) answered all my questions and set me up with the right phone on the right plan quickly and painlessly. Even offered to transfer my files from my old phone for free, which I politely declined because I like to do that myself. Friendly and professional, I highly recommend SaskTel.

Have been in 3 times with broken phone which has not been fixed and now the warranty has expired. Sktel now say we must pay for any work or repair to phone now. If phone was fixed or replaced when we first went in this would not be a problem but they dragged it out and now its somehow my problem. Not Impressed with service at all.

Dont trust their online shopping, they took $55.50 from my bank account, did not give me my top up and told me there was nothing they could do and I should get my bank to take the money back and that could take 55 days? Total rip off, avoid like the plague

Update.went to Sask tel store showed them the bank withdrawal they still refused to do anything. They even tried to say the top up card i bought from canadian tire was the one they sold me. I have transaction id, receipt, bank withdrawals but yet they still fight to keep my money.online shopping with sask tel, rip off and you will lose your money

Go in about a year and a half ago to buy first phone (Samsung galaxy s7) with a three year plan, lady asks me if I would like a warranty that covers cracks and damages for ten extra dollars per month, of course I say yes knowing that i'll end up braking it by accident. I accidentally brake my phone today, I go to Sasktel to get a new one, they're closed, I go to one of there partners (Jump.ca) they tell me that my in fact dose not cover cracks and damages and that i'll need to pay a 200 dollar deductible to get a new phone, thanks Sasktel I always knew that you were looking out for me.

OMG. Sasktel with or without good credit you are forced to handover a $500.00 deposit. Which takes three to four months to get back if you are smart enough to use another cellular provider. These (Sasktel criminals) grossly over-priced money sucking leaches set the bar for the highest prices globally.

On a positive note, the Cornhole Centre (mall) Sasktel store, where zombies [you] line-up to fork over hard-earned cash so u can remain wired to that 1000.00 dollar device, has some stunningly beautiful women working there, no, not the plus-size rude, disrespectful, and arrogant so-called Sask technician. In which I have two words for. NO CARBS, and in closing, three more words for the SassyTel Tec; NO HUMAN CONTACT.

Going back to 2010, I had been a life-long SaskTel customer to that point. However, poor customer service, poor service quality, errors and overages by their billing dept, and exorbitant charges quoted for work required on my residential property all combined together to effectively end my relationship with SaskTel.

Fast-forward to today, SaskTel still seems to be lacking in these areas. Poor product offerings, especially in the areas of cellular and Internet service, have deterred me from ever wanting to return to SaskTel.

The equipment and hardware that SaskTel supplies to its residential customers for Internet service is inferior in quality and reliability. Poor equipment quality and reliability equals intermittent, poor service. Furthermore, if you require any service-related work performed on your property by SaskTel such as the installation of a new cable run or upgrading an existing cable run, be prepared for an exorbitant hourly rate of +$100/hour. Why would anyone want to pay this when you can receive equivalent-to-superior service from Access Communications and Access will install/upgrade your cable run at no additional charge?

SaskTel has poor plan offerings for cellular when compared to other cellular service providers. TELUS is far superior in its cellular plan offerings as compared to SaskTel. One only has to look at TELUS' Easy Roam US plan versus SaskTel's Roam and Relax US plan. The customer service at TELUS is far superior to that of SaskTel.

Crown corporations leave much to be desired and SaskTel is not exempt from this. With choices like Access Communications, Shaw, and TELUS, why would anyone want to subscribe to SaskTel? If you're looking for an ICT provider in Saskatchewan, there are better choices out there than SaskTel!
