My recent visit to Socia Bank's Prince Albert branch was nothing short of infuriating. Despite arriving before their closing time, I was initially denied entry, which left me feeling bewildered and irritated. The lack of consideration for customers' time and needs is completely unacceptable.

After a dramatic scene and a high-level discussion with his boss, the employee reluctantly allowed me inside. It was an unnecessary hassle that could have been avoided with a more customer-oriented approach.

If Socia Bank prides itself on customer service, it certainly didn't show during my visit. The whole experience made me feel undervalued and unimportant. A bank that fails to treat its customers respectfully and professionally doesn't deserve their business. #poorcustomerservice #unprofessionalstaff

To the question of which banking account is better too Open and plan to choose I wasn't able to receive a proper information from Financial advisors, also the lines to the tellers are always so long and I couldn't use their ATM machines in a hall deposit to my bank card.

Marcus merasty at Prince Albert Scotiabank is a godlike man. He made purchasing a house effortless and as stress free on our end as possible! The pre approval process was awesome as well as communicating with our real estate agent and our lawyer. Marcus rushed everything to the ACE department, and kept close contact with us, including coming in on his days off to check on our file and make calls. He advocated on our behalf, amazingly, and even pulled his manager in to our case to have things rushed to meet our sellers deadline. He was able to make things work through email and phone communication when we weren’t able to come into the bank, we are now owners of our house thanks to this man’s immaculate and precise efforts! We will always recommend Marcus for any banking needs, he’s an amazing financial advisor who helped us get everything we needed started pre hand to purchasing the house and we can’t thank him enough for the patience he had helping us as first time home buyers with explaining every process and lingo! This guys great. Sandra is also super sweet you’ll always be lucky to see her behind the counter ️

I was trying to get information about a safety deposit box in Prince Albert and after waiting 10 minutes at the call center and bounced around a couple times I was improperly directed to Shane, a small business advisor at Lawson Heights. He kindly directed me to a co-worker of his at the Prince Albert branch I was trying to enquire about. I called that number and spoke to Dave who is also a small business advisor. Even though probably not his job he cheerfully got the information I needed. Excellent service from both of them and they have restored my faith in Scotiabank. If I ever had need of a small business advisor I would not hesitate to deal with either Dave or Shane based on this experience alone. Well done by both of them!

A guy named marcus there will help you get done what you need done, he is trustworthy and puts full effort into anyone’s files he deals with. I will always bank in Prince Albert just for Marcus Merasty’s financial advisory.

I was very disappointed with my experience here. The manager is terribly rude and has no compassion whatsoever. As far as I’m concerned, a manager’s job is to help and give further insight to a given situation. Instead, she repeats the same frase 10 times hoping you’ll leave satisfied with the awful explanation given. She treats you like you’re dumb, which is a terrible feeling. In general, all Scotiabank staff seem to not be human, and have zero compassion. Not even a hello was given. There is terrible coordination within all branches and they make you jump hoops to have a decent banking experience. Will not be coming here again. And I plan to move to a different bank, that doesn’t lack a heart.

I have a problem with the ATM machine at the South Hill location. I went to the bank with my deposit error. They filed a request for me long time ago. And now I have been waiting for nothing. I lost my huge money into that stupid machine and nothing had been done for me. Not helpful at all. Feel truly insecure and disapointed with the bank. I should have changed to another bank

Nice people and good service. Usually a fairly short wait time. Lose a star for not being open saturdays for those who cant get to the bank mon to fri.

I've banked with Scotiabank my entire life and have never had any problems whatsoever! They make everything extremely easy, and the staff are incredible.

If it could be a zero it would be. The service is horrible they fail to return phone calls, if they do its often days later than they stated. They took over a week to clear cheque when a similar valued cheque from the same issuer (sgi) cleared in 20 minutes at Td. During an estate claim they shared personal information such as sin number and address with people who they weren't granted permission to share it with and only admitted wrong doing when I elevated it to their investigations department. I was with scotia bank for over 20 years and am in the process of transferring banks due to the numerous negative experiences I have had. Strongly reccomend nobody uses scotia bank, especially the prince albert location.
