Excellent customer service and the food is delicious. I would recommend you stop by and explore the different food options.

Average place, food is okayish - Had butter chicken and Palak Paneer (I am not a fan of Palak Paneer but the ones who had it say it was awesome)
Had to search for chicken pieces in Butter Chicken!
Samosa was okay
May not visit again

The most horrible butter chicken I have ever had in my life, it was literally sweet as honey. Would never recommend anyone to go for butter chicken in kabab king. And very bad response from the owner, highly unprofessional

One more disappointed experience in quest of quality desi food. Chicken was hard to find In chicken Biryani, Chicken Karahi was also not good. Neither quantity nor quality was up-to the mark.

I have to say this place serves the best Chicken Biryani and curry!
I would give 10 stars if I could ️️️

I had the lamb vindaloo and samosa which were both very good. The green chutney that comes with the samosa was much better than anywhere else I have tried. The lamb was very tender and the dish had a good mix of meat and sauce

The service was fast and the staff was very friendly.

I was very satisfied with my experience and will definitely be visiting more often.

Very tasty and delicious food. Pakistan style of karhai was very yummy. A must visit for family and friends. Good place to dine-in.

Our 2nd visit to this eatery on our Saskatoon trip today. We liked the food last time and this time was no different.

We ordered Nihari (beef Stew) Chana Buthara (chickpea curry with fried bread) Latcha Partha (Multilayered Fired bread)
Nan and tea.

Everything tasted delicious and very authentic.

Highly recommended

Little gem in Saskatoon and f you like South Asian food.

We went for breakfast and ordered Lacha Paratha (kind of fried flat bread)
Keema Nan (flat bread with minced beef filling), Chana Masala (chickpea curry) and tea.

Food was simply outstanding. We loved everything we ordered. Taste just like home cooking. Price was reasonable as well.

Server was fast and friendly. Restaurant was clean and well maintained.

First time we saw tables with built in spots for hotpot in South Asian restaurant. We didn’t get to use it but it’s a good idea.

Breakfast today was very tasty and freshly prepared, Halwa Puri. Awesome service and good environment. But it was 50% more expensive as compared to another restaurant on 22nd Street West, an old restaurant. Before today, I ate lunch from Kabab King and realized they are charging much more now, I ate lunch with my family a month ago. After comparing breakfast with another restaurant I have make up my mind to eat from this restaurant only when I have to.

We appreciated Shaheer's helpfulness in explaining different dishes to us. The food was deliciously superb and at a decent price. We will bring friends with us next time!

It’s a great experience. The ambiance is very welcoming and charming. Amazing food, experience and service. Staff are extremely knowledgeable and make great recommendations. Portions are generous and price is reasonable.

Hands down, one of the best places to order Indian food in Saskatoon. We ordered the Chicken Biryani, Vindaloo, Cucumber Raita, Keema Naan and Dahl Tadka. Big portions and lots of meat in the Vindaloo and Biryani. The naan was fresh and stuffed with meat with perfect seasoning. Loved the Dahl! We asked for extra spicy which they had done for us. This is the first time that we had a food cooked with the level of hotness that we like. Two thumbs up! We found our go to place for Indian food in Saskatoon!

Delicious food, well priced and attentive service. Some of the best fish pekora I have ever had. Exceptional naan. You get quite a bit of food for what you pay for.

Positive: good vegetarian dishes, good beef balls, good fresh hot naans, bright and airy ambiance, staff devoted to quality service.

Neutral: fairly priced a la carte dishes and buffet.

Negative: crammed entrance and dining room, dry chicken, curries and sauces lack flavor, slow service, overpriced drinks

I have been to the old location which was in Sutherland and now I also visited the new location as well. I enjoy the food here and the service is also good. I definitely recommend this place for a good east Indian type food. The samosa chat and masala chai are one of my favorites.

OK so.it was kinda cold and everything was left over from lunch. Gave free tea, that was the best part.

I have no idea people who gave 5 star had food before that found this place super good! Worst buffet ever! The butter chicken was at least for 3-4 days, rice was so old and tasteless. Don’t waste your money there

The lunch buffet was good but there is room for improvement. The chicken (in both tandoori? And butter) was overcooked/dried out/something because it wasn't tender. The goat curry was okay but a bit too goaty for me. It was nice that the buffet came with naan delived to the table but it didn't seem freshly made and looked better than it tasted. The dal mahkhani (I think) and chana masala were nice. The pakora and another fried veggie dish were really tasty. All the veggie dishes were decent but the meat dishes weren't that great. The mango custard for dessert was pretty good. The selection was larger than I expected but I'd prefer to have only 8 good options instead of 10 or 12 which might not be as good.

There was only one other customer seated and two or three for takeout while I was there for lunch at noon on a Thursday.

I'll be back to give it another try and hopefully it will be a bit better. I don't think it is a bad choice so I was surprised that it wasn't busier.

Sitting was good! Starters were good! But main course was not upto the mark even the quantity of Currys were half bowl.

Was my favourite place to eat when they were tucked into a corner on Central, and it's still my favourite place now that they've moved downtown. The new place is in a more convenient location for treating coworkers, and has a casually classy vibe.

Decided to try out Shakeel’s for their lunch buffet. There were lots of great options. The food is flavourful and fresh! They brought out hot naan to the table, and all the staff were very friendly. Excited to come back and try their desserts next.

The absolutely best restaurant in town. The food always very fresh and delicious, and the staffs and owners of the restaurant treat customers like gold. Recently, I just visited their new location, great ambience with more options in the buffet. Also, super cheap meal deals are available for lunch!

Had a lovely dinner at Shakeel's. The upstairs atmosphere is very romantic and provides a nice view outside. The food was very good and I appreciated the service from the staff. Will have to explore more of the menu next time I go.

Very good taste and good variety. Both Vegetarian and Non Vegetarian options are available. Chicken Kabab Roll is best in Saskatoon.

I had very bad experience about their food as the staff wasn’t that professional plus the service was very poor! My uncle and I went for dinner we waited about 15/20mins than we called one their staff they didn’t even apologize and brought Jug of water and menus we ordered Biryani. I guess the normal fried rice taste is better than there biryani I even complained they suppose to not charge us which we didn’t even touch after each of us tried only one spoon of sips.

Good to find you back. This new place of King Kabab Restaurant with new name of Shakeel's is even better than the old one. Not only a romantic sitting but a great innovation in taste. I highly recommend Shakeel's for a good Pakistani and Indian food.

I like the Fabulous place, delicious food and superior services of this restaurant. We can do breakfast, lunch and dinner over here with a comfort.

This is my favorite restaurant in saskatoon, best buffet and menu dishes, i like this restaurant cause shakeel is in food business since generations and have experties in indian and pakistani food, amazing dessert too, i think best restaurant for east indian food.

Super friendly staff and great food. We went for the lunch buffet on opening weekend and it was fantastic.
