These guys are fantastic and honest. They don't over charge, they fix the issue and I couldn't ask for better people to come I to my house.

Apparently their website doesn't work properly and they are incapable of doing simple things such as troubleshooting small problems.
It's like I have to do everything myself. I might as well also fix the appliance myself.

Had Brandon come out to do a warranty repair on my oven. They came out twice, once for the diagnosis and a second time with the parts to fix it. Very professional and an absolute pleasure to deal with.

Brandon serviced my dishwasher today. He was friendly and polite, knowledgeable and efficient. Great service! Thank You!

Joe did a couple of repairs for us, and was very professional, knowledgeable, nice, patient, and helpful.

Shaughnessy appliance repair was used to fix my Frigidaire Oven under warranty. When the techs left my oven heated up very slow and my top burners only heated on 1 side of the pan. The oven was somewhat repaired but now I have a new problem.it takes forever to heat up. The top burners had the same problem as before. The techs never phoned Frigidaire support for techs (I ound this out later talking to Frigidaire). I call the manager and he refused to send out the techs again to check there work with out me paying. I called Frigidaire and after sometime they put in a work order in to fully pay Shaughnessy parts and labor to repair my oven a second time. Shaughnessy refused to come. I called Frigidaire and they told my to hire another company. I hired Conk Appliance repair who came to my home and tested the oven. Shaughnesssy did not hook up the wire for the top oven burner.no broiler and slow to heat. The burners where not centered on the glass images so only half the pan heats up. Can you imagine there is adjustment slots to move the burners forward or back to get them in the center of the glass images. Shaughnessy put in all new burners and both computer boards to fix my burners and left it not repaired. Do not hire Shaughnessy repair.they put in parts that are not needed. Hire Conk Appliance repair! They do a proper diagnoses before the ordering parts. Conk Appliance Repair put in no parts and fixed the oven. Thank-you to Frigidaire for paying for the second party repair.

We were trying to support local before we went to amazon. You front end clerk who is a male. We don’t know names. Treated us absolutely terrible. We will never return Amazon Prime has dignity and respect for customers. My husband was berate

The service Rep was very friendly and explained everything in detail. He even helped me to clean up behind the fridge. He was very efficient. I would definitely use this company again and highly recommend them

Shaunessy had always been professional, providing great repair when our appliances have had issues.

We had issues with the microwave and some conerns with the washing machine. Both were addressed promptly and efficiently. We were pleased and thought the service was exceptional.

Came in showed me what was wrong, fixed it quick and then showed me some tips for better drying and how to get the most life out of my dishwasher.

I am changing my initial review as Shaughnessy Appliance has gone beyond what I asked to rectify our billing issue. The company does good work, that was never in question. I do recommend this company for your appliance repair needs.

If you can find another option I would. Had to pay $120 for a "service call". During this service call they didn't even touch the refrigerator. Just asked me one questions, filled some stuff out on their computer and were done in 10 mins or less. Then charged another 400 in labour for the little over an hour job. Total job ended up around 800.

Also the guy that did the actual fix came alone and required my pregnant wife to hold and pass various things while also operating her home business.

Recommend going elsewhere if possible.

These guys are awesome! Easily booked appointment online and they were prompt. Fixed my gas dryer within 20 minutes! Didn't think I'd be so excited do laundry!

Their phone service was terrible. I had a refrigerator needed to be repaired. The technician was good and explained everything very well. The repair cost was $700 plus the service call fee. I told him I need to think about it because I need to decide if I buy a new one or repaire it. The next day or two I decided to repair it. I called them. The lady who picked up the call told me that they can come in two weeks. I thought it was too long to wait and thinking about other options. The lady told me you can choose other service providers. I thought that was arrogant. But, I did not think too much. I thought again that buying a new refrigerator may be a good option. Then, I said I will think about what I can do. Two weeks later I thought I should repair it. I then called them again. The lady who pick up the call started to make fun of me. Starting to ask me if I chose another service provider. I said no and only thought about buying a new refrigerator. She told me that they need order parts and waiting time can be anytime between two weeks and two months and can be longer. She also said I could still buy a new one. I was already frustrated by the broken refrigerator. They just made me felt worse. It was terrible. People should try to avoid this company.

Not respectful to senior clients. My elderly parents were told their stove could not be fixed and if they bought a new one - it would outlive them. The repair man actually said the stove would live longer than they would. Really inappropriate and inconsiderate thing to say to seniors. Do not hire them.

Our washer had broken down and Shaughnessy came to our home to see if the washer could be fixed. We have had very good service from Shaughnessy and we received the same very good service this time.we did make a decision to purchase a new washing machine based on feedback from the Shaughnessy technician.

Joe from Shaughnessy appliance repair came to repair our fridge. Incredible friendly person who’s well educated about the product he was repairing. He never tried to sell us something we didn’t need. As well he educated myself on a great deal of maintenance items that can extend the life of our kitchen appliances.
A service technician like this is very hard to find and anything that needs repair I will be sure to call Shaughnessy and ask for Joe. Great work and a very fair price. Highly recommend.

We have used this company a number of times over the past few years, both for call outs for repairs and to purchase parts so that we could repair appliances on our own. The are always friendly and professional, always on time and never fall to fix the appliance without upselling to maximize the trip.

Had a great experience, had 2 visits as they had to order parts to complete the repair. Both times the employees were friendly and easy to talk to. Work done was quick and saved us having to buy a new washer, price was very reasonable. They even called letting us know they could fit us in for an earlier appointment than we scheduled. Would recommend!

Do your homework before having Shaughnessy come out. $148 for a service call in White City. After calling multiple other places after they could not fix the appliance I found most do not charge a km charge to come to White City and their competitors base service call is between $75-$100.

Would give negative stars if I could. Terrible job, and terrible attitude from service manager. It was their third trip on a
Warranty repair, bent the door, not installed properly, left in the hole crooked not attached to counter and kick plate was left laying on the floor. When i contacted them about, basically said that's the way they had found it.which was a out right lie. No offer to makeit correct.
Won't use or recommend them, or use them to service the over 1000 appliance's in our rental properties.

Not a fan. He tells me I'll need almost $1800 worth of work to fix a 6 year old high end Whirlpool fridge that is running too cold. Really!?

Rude and Disrespectful on the phone and ended up shying away from them. Went to Re-Appliable Parts, INC, got the warm welcome and phenomenal service there.

We had an issue with our washer and Brandon came by to take a look at it. Of course it worked fine when Brandon arrived but he took his time and shared his knowledge of washing machines and gave me a few pointers on how to get the most out of the unit. I have never met anyone with more knowledge about washing machines than Brandon. He really really loves his job and it shows. Will call Shaughnessy in the future and ask for Brandon!

We needed a new motherboard for our fridge. The charge for the callout was $110 which is ridiculous but standard these days. However, the callout with any other place usually includes the first hour labour. The job took 10 minutes and there was a $100 labour charge in addition to the callout. Support small business? Not likely this business again.

Needed a part for our washing machine, Was advised it wasn't a stocked part, but they could have it by thursday. Ordered it tuesday, it showed up Wednesday! Exceeded their promise! Someone actually answered the phone and returned my call within 15 minutes!

Rare occurence to have a service company show up when expected. This tech.was topnotch. Very polite and courteous. Didn't mind answering questions from an old guy that's used to doing his own repair work. Awesome service. I would highly recommend this company for any appliance sevice needs

Rude, disrespectful and unprofessional.

Customers like to feel heard, appreciated, and valued. For the process to feel easy and without friction. To see action being taken regarding the request or issue.

The manager there failed to provide these basic customer service. I spoke to the manager on the phone. I tried to explain to him the issue with my fridge and expressed that they may have misdiagnosed the issue. The manager is condescending and refused to listen.

I ended up calling a different place after he rudely hung up on me. The technician at the other place listened with courtesy and patience as I explained the problem and agreed that their diagnosis is wrong.

I am unhappy and disappointed with their customer service.

After being told that we should get a new LG fridge and that 6 years was the lifetime of a fridge we contacted Shaughnessy. The technician we spoke to agreed to come and look at our fridge. After checking out the fridge he told his findings. 7 years ago LG made crapy compressors but they have come up with a new better replacement model. The compressor was under warranty and was confident about fixing it. 6 days later they phoned and fixed our problem fridge. Working great and saved us 3000 dollars!

Just had Joe in Regina at my home to do an in-wall oven repair. After seeing Joe doing his job, I would not want anyone else but him! He had all the right test tools, he even had a dolly to slide the oven out of the wall & on to it. By Joe doing his testing, he found that it did not need a part but the 6 year old install was at fault waiting to happen. Joe got the wiring correctly done, as it was wired to an old fuse style electrical box (out of date and not needed) that had a connection wire burn off.
Thanks to Joe and his friendly/professional service we are back up and running again.

Shaughnessy stopped by our house to fix our dishwasher. Their technician was polite and friendly, he did great job! I will call them again in a heartbeat if we need anything else fixed.

Shaughnessy is fast, punctual, courteous and most important they fixed the problem. I'm sure there are other good operators out there but I personally would not phone anybody else.

This company was dispatched to my house to fix a microwave. The technician came and did fix the microwave. However we were told that if it breaks down within seven days from their fix. That they would come out and fix it again. It has been two days and it broke down again and they are refusing to come out and fix it and telling me that I need to call and make an additional warranty claim, even though they’ve already been paid by Warranty. Their company lied to us, and now seems like they’re trying to Get extra warranty even though their fix didn’t work

I previously posted a 5 STAR review, after their technician successfully repaired our new dishwasher 3 years ago. When the technician was in our home fixing the dishwasher, he did a "courtesy check" (his words) of our washing machine as he noticed it wasn't running properly. His recommendation came to an estimated repair of $300.00 - we ended up replacing the washing machine. Now.we require additional work to repair our dishwasher once again, the extended warranty company sent the work order to Shaughnessy. When Shaughnessy failed to respond to the request I called and was told that we were on a "do not service list" for failing to pay for the washing machine diagnosis that was preformed 3 years prior. I was unaware of any cost that occured from the courtesy check, I have offered to pay any outstanding bill that I may have, but they refuse to provide one. They continuously refuse to do the warranty work that has been approved by the extended warranty company. Now I'm out of the money I paid for the warranty, and now my only choice is to pay for another company to come out, or replace the dishwasher.
How could such a good company like Shaughnessy fail so badly.
I would happily speak to a Shaughnessy representative, but all calls fall onto deaf ears.

I needed a part for my range. I provided a part number. They said they can order it, and it should arrive in about three days. They called me the next day as my part arrived early. It was reasonably priced, beating the online retailers in both cost and shipping time. Fantastic! Can't ask for more!

The receptionist sounds always friendly and helpful when we booked and rescheduled appointment. The technician, Brandon D, came right on time and presented himself very professionally. He quickly diagnosed the issue and explained clearly what he would do and the cost associated with it. Things went seamlessly and our dishwasher has worked perfectly since the Aug repair!
