I have to connect the Internet from you on Wednesday. But I probably won't - after reading the reviews. Just don't tell me - it's your choice. Friends, what the hell are you doing there?
Either earn money for the service you provide, or do not occupy the territory and let more responsible providers work.

We have been with Shaw for 6 years and had no issues up until now. When they became Shaw/Rogers, we received a call that we could upgrade to the Ignite WiFi gateway and get a better rate for our cable package. So we agreed, and they shipped our new items to hook up. We asked what we do with the old equipment, the Shaw rep said we don't have to return it, we can keep it.
A couple of months have passed since then, and we received our online bill of over $600! When we looked at the charges, there was a $320 dollar charge for Unreturned equipment!
So, we drove to Shaw halfway across the city to return what was just the black item - 4K TV Player (in picture) to have a Shaw rep tell us to mail it away, and gave us a slip (in picture). She said that the charge of 320.99 would be removed from our bill after they receive it. Not telling us we would have to pay for the package to put it in. Thank goodness the lady who was working at Shoppers on 22nd Canada Post felt sorry for me and gave me a free box to put it in before mailing.
Overall, I am not a happy customer. We wasted our time and gas and caused a stressful process that could have been avoided if there was proper communication!
I do not recommend Shaw/Rogers.

Want to clarify this review is specific to the Installation Tech (Brayden G) servicing my account not Shaw as an ISP. Brayden was more than accomodating after I missed his home appointment. I may have forgotten about him but he never forgot about me. He took the time to contact me after hours and walk me through my options & set some alternative times. Was impressed by how professional, efficient and polite he was considering I wasted his time earlier in the day. Great person, deserves to be celebrated.

My cable glitches so badly. If the alternative wasn’t so expensive I would switch IMMEDIATELY. Terrible service

Glad that after three years of terrible Internet and stating that I'm not getting the level of service I'm paying for only to realize I'm only getting 20-45 Mbps when I'm paying for 300, they are willing to try switching out my modem.

I asked to have the box mounted to my homes exterior cladding removed and the line ran directly into the basement so I wouldn't have to see a huge grey box that's only purpose was the keep the coaxial connection weather proof. (seriously the company selling shaw these huge ugly boxes that are 90% empty space inside is getting a great profit off shaw). Sasktel does not use such a box they send the cable right into the house. The reason I wanted this was I just bought this house and was getting it completely re painted professionally. The basement tenant moved in a year later and was also on shaw and was getting their services transferred over. Easy I thought as I was already on shaw and it was already wired into the basement. I come home from work to find the cables re fastened the length of my home screwed through my year old paint job and the hideous huge grey box was now back, also bolted through my cladding. After a week of trying to get through to a manager they offered a pathetic credit on my account and agreed to remove everything back to how they had it (a wire into the basement as they had done before) Everything was removed off my cladding leaving holes everywhere and scraped paint where the box had been. As it has been a year paint cant be matched up and every hole in the boards means that every board needs painting. Now when people look at this side of the house and ask what happened? I have to retell the story of what SHAW did. I can not wait to get out of my contract.
