Had I read the reviews on this location I never would have opted to fill an URGENT prescription here. My beautiful dog was suddenly experiencing seizures. Our vet does not keep narcotics at his clinic so he had the prescription for phenobarbital sent to Herold Crt location by my request as it is a few blocks from my home. After two hours of NO call received indicating ready for pick up I called them. My beautiful dog was in my arms having a seizure at the time of my call and I told the pharmacy assistant who answered my call that was happening in order to flag the urgency. I asked to be please have the medication as soon as possible. It was still an hours wait after that call, going in and out waiting for it to be ready. My beautiful girl passed away less than three hours later. I do not know for certain that had she received the phenobarbital earlier that it would have made a difference in prolonging her life, but it may have been helpful, hence the prescription. What I do know is the lack of triage skill and compassion for life was terribly lacking, especially when I specifically stated I needed that medication because my poor dog was having a seizure in my arms at the time of my call inquiring when it would be ready for pick-up. Might I add that I was kind and respectful at every interaction with staff during this terrible situation. I will never use this location of shoppers ever again for any reason and based on other reviews, there are many others who also no longer support this business.

This pharmacy is the absolute worst. The wait times to pick up a prescription are ridiculous and they are never ready when you call in advance and go to pick them up. Today I called in to have them get a prescription ready so I could pick it up, I went there 40 minutes later thinking I would just wait for it and they hadn’t even taken it off the fax machine yet. I said I would wait while it was filled and they told me it would be an hour and a half wait time. It was for a bottle of eye drops there is no way it should take an hour and a half.

UPDATE: after going to the store and being told it would be an hour and a half wait I didn’t get an email saying it was ready for pickup for over 3 hours.

Many prices scanned incorrectly when checking out and there wasn’t any staff around to help. I ended up leaving multiple items in the nearest rack which I do not like doing.

I have experienced on 3 occasion in the last 1 1/2 years my prescriptions being short of the pills that I need for 1 month, with the most recent being short 14 pills to take me to the end of month. I was not able to get a refill for the next month and had to fight to get them make up what was short. Service in pharmacy is slow, they never have more than one person handing out prescription. I will be seriously considering going somewhere else in the future.

Literally the most awful customer service, every single time I go there an older white women is not doing her job properly! They are not friendly workers and they don’t prioritize their customers! I feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. Find better workers that will actually do their job right!

This locations phone rings busy 90% of the day! It’s an AUTO menu!? I work almost every night every week with no vehicle to get to work & u guys close at 10! I have missed my antidepressants two days now becsyse you guys aren’t around to even let me auto refill it just rings busy…what if an elderly person needs heart medication …do u just say oops sorry when something happens …. Wow. Also following me around the store for no good reason makes me not want toShop here again

The worst among all location. They always have nothing there. The pharmacist treat you like you are an alliance. Avoid this location. London drugs way better and people movers.

This place has gone downhill. No cashiers, barely any stock. The pharmacy is the worst I've been to as well. It is extremely slow even when you're just picking something up that's ready.

Your pharmacy values profit over people. A perfectly healthy woman is now dead. You are responsible! Start telling the truth! SHAME.

Heard someone dropped dead while waiting 15 mins for their covid shot. So why can't you comment on it and why hasn't the news covered this hmm?

A woman died at this Shoppers drug mart within minutes of getting her covid booster and your reply when filmed is "you're not commenting on that? !

I have been coming to this Shoppers for years and will no longer be back. Customer service used to be excellent and has really declined the last few months. I have had to wait multiple times on hold to speak with a pharmacist about picking up prescriptions for 40+ minutes. After confirming with the pharmacist that they have received my prescription, I am always told it won’t be ready for a few hours. The new pharmacy assistant, who is completely useless, has told me on more than one occasion that I can’t pick up the prescription until the following day and have also been told that he “can’t find my prescription” when it has always been there. Not to mention he is extremely rude. I don’t know if this is an understaffing issue, but something has to change if you want to keep costumers. On top of all of this, my experience with them today has been absolute garbage. After finding out that the doctor forgot to fax my son’s prescription to the pharmacist, I was told by the pharmacist that he was too busy to call the doctor’s office to get the prescription faxed and that it was the job of the doctor’s office to do this (this was strange to me as when I contacted the doctor’s office, they said they cannot legally fax over a prescription without speaking with the pharmacist first). I don’t know who is right in this situation, but just goes to show how backwards the medical system is. I ended up calling London Drugs Pharmacy and explained the situation. They answered the phone within seconds of me calling, contacted the doctor’s office, and had the prescription ready to be picked up within 10 minutes. THAT IS GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE. London Drugs is nowhere near my house, I have always been going to Shoppers since I live a few blocks away, and will literally never return.

Avoid covid shots someone died minutes after their shot here. And the pharmacy attendants won’t comment on that. Those NDA’s they sign keep them from telling the truth! It’s disgusting what’s going on!

Walked in to get some hair dye with my sister and was followed throughout the whole store by an older woman who worked all the way in the beauty section. Didn't even try to make it seem like she wasn't doing it on purpose as every time we walked away she would also walk along with us only about 3-4ft away.

This is not then first time this has happened to me in this exact same location. I live in the neighbourhood so it is more convenient for me to come here, but since all the staff seem to really follow me around, I'd much rather make the drive to literally anywhere else. I do not feel welcomed or safe shopping here.

Do better.

Bad, very rude lady today at the drop off counter. She was dismissive after I told her I seen my faxed prescription the night before in one of the other workers hands and tells me there’s no record of it and it’s not there and sends me away real fast, luckily they found it later.just a very nasty lady, not happy with this pharmacy anymore too bad I live so close to it

Customer of 10+ years at this pharmacy and I agree with the other posts. Really has gone down hill last 1-2 years. No notification or call after 3 days of a request that a prescription was out of stock and left me in a bind today.

Every single time I go to get my prescription they tell me it will be 30 minutes till my prescription is ready so I will go home for over an hour and come back and they will tell me it isn’t done yet and I’ll bring up the quote time and this time I went the pharmacist tried to convince me I was there 20 minutes ago. What a joke I’m switching pharmacy’s now

I came to pick a parcel and there was a sign saying that due to a medical emergency the postal outlet will be closed for whole week. Why do they not have other staff trained to work at the postal outlet? I am expecting a delivery of live plants. They will likely be dead by the time am able to pick them up. Just another example of disappointing poor service that I have experienced. I transferred my prescriptions from this pharmacy years ago before Covid because poor service and they just didn't seem to care.

I have been going here for medications and make up.today July 11 at 1000 am, I am disgusted how a lady and older man treated the pharmacy personnel.if you haven't received your medication in a timely manner.you can put you big girl panties on and call.
They have no control of supply change issues and possible your insurance company issues.

They kept their cool and were very professional dealing with these embarrassment of humans

They can’t fill a prescription if their life depends on it.phoned, came in, and had to come back to get it filled and it still wasn’t ready.
