Never actually get my prescription on time even if I order it early they never have it and keep saying it's in the next order. I have a standing order for those. Very frustrating as it's been going on for over a year now that they don't have it.

It’s a nice place and nice people. It would be nice to have the blood pressure machine in a more private spot. Instead of surrounded by people in the waiting room. I’m sure it stops a ton of people from using it.

If you’re a woman who requires UTI meds without a doctor, do not go here. Go to the Rochdale location instead. I had a misogynist pharmacist at the McCarthy location who would not help me. I went to the Rochdale location afterward and not only did a female pharmacist help me, she didn’t even ask half the questions the male pharmacist did at the McCarthy location! I am infuriated at having to go to a different location. If you’ve ever had a UTI, you’d understand. It’s very good to know that your male pharmacist is complete misogynist! The Rochdale location will be my new pharmacy from now on.

Always long line ups when picking up prescriptions. Staff are slow and not enough of them working.

The beauty specialist that helped me tonight was amazing! I normally have very poor experiences at Shoppers in the city. She helped me pick out a new perfume. She recommended a brand I wouldn’t have picked for myself and I love it. Very grateful for her help! She helped me decide on some products and pick out some colours. She was working tonight at 8: 30 pm and she had a ponytail with thick, black framed glasses. Very sweet! I wish I could remember her name but she was very kind.

WATCH the scanner. Prices never match the scanner. They only adjust the price and don't give the item for free or ten dollars off. So they don't follow their P&P if it's in your benefit. This is common practice at this Shoppers. So they are stealing money from their customers. YET If I took a 50 cent item or my kid did from shoppers they would have their lawyers send me a bill for 500 dollars. Awful company!

Shoppers should update their signs if they’re gonna close at a different time than advertised. There was a sign on doors said 12am too.

I go to this Shopper's at least twice a week. Always stocked, always clean and staff are alwayas helpful. Pharmacy is really good here. Makeup counter staff are very nice too and will always answer questions and help. Really like going to this location. Only thing it's missing is a beauty bar!

Once the number of refills of a prescription medication runs out, my doctor's office asks that the pharmacy fax a prescription request to the doctor. I ask the pharmacy to do this, and they do submit a fax electronically (using the system's application). I called the doctor's office to check if they have received the fax, and find that it is not received. Reception says that the fax machine is working because there are other faxes that have been received. Thinking that the fax number is incorrect, I get the doctor's office fax machine number and call the pharmacy to compare fax numbers only to find that the fax numbers are the same. I explain to the pharmacy that the doctor's office is not receiving the fax when they submit using the application, and they try again. Once again, it is not received by the doctor's office. Since I need this medication, I drove to the pharmacy in the evening and was greeted at the prescription drop off station. I explained that there is a problem when a fax is sent to my doctor's office through their application. After I explained this, she completed a form and sent the fax manually, which was received at my doctor's office.

It seems that there is a problem with the software that submits the fax electronically to the doctor's office. I called the Shopper's 1-800 number to report this and was told that they cannot help me. If it is not user error and there is a software issue, can they not notify someone to submit a support ticket to get the software looked into? There is clearly a problem!

When I was handed my prescription, I was told that I'd have to pay the full amount for it because the prov.government is randomly not covering expensive prescriptions. I was given a 'Special Support Program Application', which is for drug cost assistance. This is not relevant in my case as I am covered under the medical benefits of my employer, which shows in their system. I've been getting this prescription filled here for about 7 months without a problem until now. For something that should have been processed with 100% coverage, I will have to pay and will now submit a manual claim with my insurer. I should not have been handed a 'Special Support Program Application'. I even asked about submitting a claim manually, which got no response. I was told to fill out the application form and return for full refund when I get a letter resulting from the application. The Drug Plan Assistance Branch asks for financial details in the form and require that I provide copies of my income tax assessment. Some training of the staff is needed here. After I received incorrect advice about my medication coverage, I left feeling so frustrated.

The next day.
After speaking with my insurance company, it turns out that the pharmacy was to inform me of the warnings and let me know that I need to enroll in the pharmacare program within the province. The warning was sent to the pharmacy each time the prescription was filled. Finally, the insurance company cut off the coverage since no paperwork was received.

If I could give Zero stars I would, I will never be using this pharmacy again. On top of messing up my prescriptions on more then one occasion I called today to confirm the meds from my dental surgery were ready for pick up they said absolutely. Yet when I went to pick it up not only did they not know what I was talking about they didn't have the prescription in my file at all. The lack of care at everything by all members within the pharmacy tonight was extremely upsetting.

Only been to this pharmacy 3 times. Each time i came there was a line to the wall for pick up. (30 min wait max) Some people working in the pharmacy are so kind and some have the worst attitude. It is always hit or miss, will i be treated with basic respect or will someone roll their eyes and raise their voice this time? Do they even respect their customers. Never sending my prescriptions here again.

Usually a positive experience this location but not the case this evening when I was met with a Karen cashier. I get that it was the end of your shift. I sincerely hope that you will be nicer to customers going forward at your new job.

Went with my daughter to pay for her meds, prescription was dropped off two days prior, after waiting half an hour, it wasn't ready, had to come back. My wife requested a refill on Wednesday, went in on Saturday, not ready yet, said will we ready in 30 to 40 minutes, come back 2 hrs later, they lost it, takes three people to find it. This place has seriously gone downhill.

How can I change my rating from 1 to -100? In the past six months since I posted my original review, the situation there has only become worse. Seems like it's time to start looking for a new pharmacy and maybe drag along as many people as I can with me.

I would LOVE the pharmacist to give me ONE good reason to stay, but I seriously doubt there can be one.
