Shoppers Drug Mart

Too bad it's impossible to leave zero stars. I was in Regina for a day, not long ago, and was in a panic because my diabetic dog is on a very strict schedule. I was near the Shoppers Drug mart, and decided to just go and buy a new box of insulin for my dog. For those of you who don't know (including the pharmacy manager, and pharmacists at this location) insulin is NOT a controlled substance, and can be purchased WITHOUT a prescription. I've been doing this for years, as my dog has been diabetic for six years now. At any rate, I still had a long drive ahead of me to get home (3 hours or so) and was very worried about missing his regular insulin dose. I went to the pharmacy, and was yelled at by the pharmacy manager, who then told me to go speak to the pharmacist. An older blonde woman, who was one of many pharmacists there, came over to the counter, with a heavy sigh, and proceeded to roll her eyes at me as I asked for a box of insulin. I tried explaining, but she was all eye rolls and heavy sighs, and it was very clear that she found her job to be a real pain in the butt. I persisted, and she told me that she would have to check with my current pharmacy, to make sure I wasn't a "drug seeker". Seriously? You can't get high on insulin LOL. Anyway, she then told me that it would be a minimum of an hour to process my request. Honestly, all they needed to do was take it out of the fridge. It's not counted, weighed, measured, nothing at all needs to be done to it. Just take it out of the fridge and let me pay for it. So, needless to say, I left without it, and sped all the way home to be in time to medicate my dog. Shoppers still called my pharmacy in Kamsack to make sure that they were alerted to my "drug seeking". My pharmacy knows me, and my dog, and weren't too bothered by it, but honestly, this is my worst ever experience with a SDM, and I'll never spend another cent in ANY of your locations. Terrible treatment, by terrible people. Just the absolute worst! Thank goodness for my lovely staff at my local pharmacy, that actually care about people.

Maybe change your signage that says open until 10pm on the building. Came last night for DIABETIC medication and you were closed by 8: 30. I now see online it says until 8 however never would have thought to check as there’s a big sign that says open until 10pm.

The male pharmacist is incredibly rude, and makes you feel like an inconvenience for having questions about new medications. It is nearly impossible to get through over the phone, so you always have to go in person for any questions. And medications are never ready when they say they will be. It is absolutely ridiculous.

You guys are so great and super family you do an awesome job thank you so much for all your help!

I can always find what I need, but the fact that they encourage you to use self check outs is not acceptable.

If I could, this pharmacy would get 0 stars. I switched from Safeway here and gave them a solid 6 months. Not once was it just a normal pick up, always something wrong systems down, printers not working. Or the worst sorry not sure why your prescription wasn’t put through. Worst service I have ever experienced!

Pharmacy never has my prescriptions on time even if it’s an emergency i still have to wait at least 24 hours.security will follow you around and not hesitate to accuse you of stealing when you’re not.also kinda wack to have a sign that says you’re open until midnight and then close at 10pm.

Have to look a very long time to find what I need. No cashier check outs any more, all self check outs now. Very "lonely" feeling. Don't like it at all!

This place is fine except the pharmacy been going here for years and they must of stopped caring or dropped the ball cause I'll order my medication wait 3 days come and get when it says it's ready and it's not and you gotta wait another 2 days cause they didn't get it ready for you it's not like I can skip taking my medication I have end stage renal failure I need my medication on time I will be looking for a better Pharmacy cause I've been running into this issue for 2 years now and I'm sick and tired of it I would definitely choose some where else to go! The senior staff there are very good and nice people but the new staff they just don't care and you can see it when you walk up to the counter

Security guard made me and my sister feel like thieves. Watched us the whole time we were shopping. Even stood next to us at the till while we paid. Racial discrimination. Made it very uncomfortable to shop.

One out of two worse ones in Regina. I was at the pharmacy to ask a question and got stared at. Someone else came to the counter and got served. Two more were behind him. What I had in my hand I slammed onto the counter and told the pharmacy person she could put it away since I wasn't good enough to be asked what I wanted. Even if I use a scooter I deserve respect like a walking person does.
This is after I had given them 24 hours to fill a prescription and it wasn't ready and was asked to go back in 90 minutes which it still wasn't ready. Again I was asked to go back in 90 minutes. This time I said I wouldn't be there in 90 minutes and I was already late taking that particular medication. They weren't happy about doing it then either. I did get it though.
I get better service at another pharmacy that's further away with the same name.

Horrible location. The store opens at 9: 00am, no one opened the store until almost 9: 10am. The male pharmacist with glasses is extremely rude both in person and on the phone. The other pharmacists either confirm your identity or just give you the package and walk off, they're always in a rush. Not to mention 8/10 times I'm there the security guard follows me around. I will be making my last pick up on Thursday and will be switching pharmacies. Disgusting.

Horrible place just like all shoppers are now. There's usually nobody on cash and a bunch of rude workers trying to push you to use a card at those stupid self service stations so they don't have to work the till.

If you politely ask them to open a till they get snarky and if you dare ask twice they tell you something like "well you don't have to come here".

Not much different than the store on Broad where I had been getting prescriptions filled (I'm diabetic) and shopping for groceries for over 15 years. After waiting 10 minutes while two of them couldn't figure out how to activate a prepaid credit card for the one person in front of me and ignoring to requests to open another till I finally said the heck with this I'll go somewhere else. As I was walking out the door the girl yells at me "Don't bother coming back you're banned here now".

Service has been getting progressively worse at all Shoppers locations for several years now. I've had enough they've lost all my business (prescriptions and groceries) for good now.

Screw you Shoppers!

I’m actually very disappointed in this shoppers drug mart, it’s always very dirty. The floors had so much mud on them had foot prints all around the store. No wet floor signs, so someone technically could slip and sue. Just dirty

Ushma & Trushen at pharmacy heled me with my prescription and i like it how they sent text when medicine is ready so i can pick it up without waiting there much.

Whoever is working the till is always pushing using self check out. I went in for gift cards and was told they would help me do it at self check out. Why not do it at your till if you’re just going to help me anyways? Very frustrating.
