Sky Harbour Estates - Deveraux Apartment Communities

Sky Harbour apartments are a great place to live in. It's a secure community! Office people are cooperative. They respond to any complaints immediately. The rent is reasonable. Highly recommended.

- too dirty on the floors…
- too noisy…. Running children after 10pm….
- high electricity bills, around $220 per month, while others in Regina pay $40-70;
- smoking smell on stairs and floors…
- be sure, that they will triple fine you after moving, and don’t give you back the rest of refunds… telling you that you leaving apartment in good conditions and then make a view like they need to paint it half of the day…
- if you are not ready to use apartment diffusers, be ready to live in apartment with a smell of
urine… I know sounds strange… but this is the first thing I faced with when entered the apartment…. Like someone peed on wood….
-definitely I won’t recommend it to my friends

Bing always keep the building 4009 clean and fresh every morning. She is warm welcome and helpful to new residents.

Mr Niro of harbour landing drive deveraux appartments maintenace guy is having very excellent knowledge of every appliance and every times he do excellent work on maintenance requests.

Professional, easy to work with, both electronically and in person, and very friendly. What more can you ask in this day and age? 10/10

"Bing" -one of the maintanance person is nice, works hard to clean front area of building, vacuum every corner of lobby.

Bad things

1- electricity bill is always high. The building/apartment has a poor design and the water heater stays in the balcony (*outside). Even if you don't use a lot of hot water during negative temperatures, your bill will come high due to the poor design.

2- appliances are old close to 10 years, and that will also impact your electricity bill.

3- the paint that they use on the wall has a very poor quality, if you try to clean something on the wall you will probably remove the paint together.

4- the apartment was not 100% clean (microwave, dishwasher, etc.) when we received the keys to move to the unit.

5- sometimes, depending on who you are talking from the office, the person can be rude.

6- during the winter, you need to send a request to the office, so they can remove the snow from your parking spot.

7- the apartment insolation is not the greatest, so the tenant will pay more for heating as well.

8- Carpet was already fraying in some areas, when we moved to the unit.

Good things

1- during the rental process, the office was very fast replying emails. (*But unfortunately looks like they don't talk to each other inside of the office)

2- the gym is nice (*they just need to fix some equipments that are not 100%).

3- the neighbourhood is very nice.

4- the neighbours for the most part are good.

5- the swimming pool is very good.

6- usually the maintenance staff are friendly (*specially a guy from Australia).

7- the building has elevator.

Niro takes excellent care of tenants and the building. He is friendly and kind. He address concerns and promptly completes repairs.
