Our experience at Sleep Country on Clarence was a great one because of the help we received from Tom Gartner. He knows his product well and took the time with us so we found the right bed at a competitive price. The delivery was handled quickly and professionally. We are very happy with how this turned out.

Purchased a mattress in October this is the third time I purchased a mattress. This mattress was very expensive, but was defective after two months of back-and-forth sending photos, doing measurements, there was no help to replace or credit this mattress. I am stuck with a $2500 mattress that is defective, their policy on customer service is clearly what they determine appropriate. Satisfaction or replacement does not exist. This company will never receive another penny from me

Be aware there are no returns! I was told 90 days when we purchased a mattress and bed frame. Apparently accessories are ALL final sale. They are complete frauds. STAY AWAY.

I like this place so much. As a newcomer, this place turned into an ideal place for us. After visiting all other places we identified that Sleep Country offers the best solution for the mattress (one of the most vital phenomena to start a new life). It always has some hot sale matresses that can meet ones need. They even have reliable after sales service which is a must issue to be considered before making a purchase decision. Having used for 5 consecutive months, our king sized firm mattress got torn through one of its edges due to movement purpose. Consequently, as per the warranty clauses Sleep Country exchanged our torn mattress with a brand new one of the same product. We are really overwhelmed with their services.

I didn't know there was such a process to buying a mattress but I'm sure glad I had sales associate Ryan Z there to help me every step of the way.
We quickly narrowed down the type of mattress I liked and the type of sleeper I was.
Fortunate for me I went at a quiet time and the store was mine to roam and Ryan had full focus on me.
At no point was I pressured to make a decision and nor was I swayed in the wrong direction. He showed attention to detail and picked up on my indecisive tendencies so he kept me to two mattresses because he knew I would be overwhelmed with multiple options. I appreciated this and this in turn made the whole experience enjoyable.

Few months later, I'm still loving the mattress and still reflect on the positive interaction I had that day with Ryan Z. Thank you

Not a good experience I have for this location. I was looking for a twin mattress and the sales girl I contacted was unable to provide me option as per my budget and she suggested me to go on KIJIJI to buy a cheap mattress. She didn't appear pleasant in the first place to help me and rudely suggested to find a used mattress instead of buying from the store. Not going to this place in future since the employees are not being well trained or motivated to do their jobs.

I went to two different sleepcountry stores and both have terrible salesmen. They were pressuring you to buy from the store and if they got the hint that you weren’t buying anything, they’d be rude. The staff were honestly quite fake and pushy. I ended up getting my mattresses and bed boxes from Amazon at an amazing price and quality. Don’t come unless you know you’re buying, not a good place to look around.

My wife and I decided to spoil ourselves this time buying a bed and went with the adjustable beds. We went to the Stonebridge location and our saleslady was Preet. She was extremely helpful and we didn't feel under pressure to purchase anything. As we knew there were other options out there. In the end, we went with Sleep Country and are so happy that we did. One of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at sleep country ever! The lady that was helping named pretti was maybe inexperienced or uninterested in us as a client!
We had informed we had previously been a client of sleep country and in the market for a new mattress, as also expressed our concerns with our old mattresses and what we had bought but she was more interested in leaving as it seemed like she had her bags packed and was about half way out the door!
Ask her simple questions which she dint have the answers too about the mattress she’s trying to make a sale off.dint even offer any other options other than the one she showed us!

We came around 4 soo not like they were closing for another hour! But yess worst experience ever, lost a long term client!

We went shopping for a new mattress and box spring, so decided to start at Sleep Country, Clarence South, to see what was "out there".
We were impressed by the service, knowledge and selection we found there.
Being baby boomers, we moved on to a big box store to see what deals there may be.
We very quickly were disappointed by the selection and lack of knowledge, and found prices no better.
So back to Sleep Country where we made our purchase.
Once everything was set up professionally in our home, we realized that we chose the wrong box spring (high instead of low profile).
Sleep Country had zero issues swapping this out for us, and did so without making us feel guilty.
Many thanks for a very positive experience to Garett (our salesperson) and Lee (our follow-up), as well as the two pairs of young men who did the deliveries.
Later, when we told our daughter about our experience, she relayed that her experience several years ago was just as positive.

Great service in store and at delivery. I had one issue due to my error and the delivery person gave me a possible solution, I called the store and they fixed it. Great service 15yrs ago and great service today. Competitive pricing and lots of selection.

SleepCountry missed the delivery day of my mattress.they offered to send an alternative driver that charged $90 cash on delivery. They promised to reimburse the monies shortly thereafter, that was 3 months ago. I have called 4 times appeared in person once. Every time they promised that the money would be reimbursed shortly.

If this was a one off event I could have ignored the poor management. However, several years ago I had another bed I needed warranty through Sleep Country. They sent out a warranty guy he measured the sink hole in my year old mattresses took pictures and measurements. Sent his report to sleep country and gave me a copy. I guess they did like the results because they changed the numbers in the report and took 6 plus months to review the case. Then went appeal after I told them I had a copy stating the data was changed. I eventually got a new bed but what a hassle. I'm sure I'll get my money eventually but my time is worth more than the effort.

I was looking to purchase a new mattress. I am SO glad I went here! I was given lots of information, had all my questions answered, was shown many different options and I didn't feel pressured to make a decision. I left the store having purchased a mattress as well as two amazing pillows! I felt like I had been treated like a valued customer.

First time matress shopping - Garett at Clarence location was super helpful, provided great service and I didn't feel pressured at any point to buy anything. Definitely a good experience.

The delivery was timely and efficient but they did knock a painting off my bedroom wall and didn't even try to put it back or notify me. They didn't deliver one item that was supposed to be delivered and I had to make a 40 minute round trip to go get the duvet. The service guys were super friendly and mistakes happen, but ultimately I was disappointed.

Although it does not seem like it they do have pushy salesman salesman that do not listen to you when used to specify certain brands and nothing else they try to push a different brand on you not impressed

We were at sleep country in stonebridge few weeks ago bought an adjustable bed. Our saleslady Preet was excellent and looked like she had a very good knowledge about the products they carry. Not a pressured sales person at all. We went there couple times before buying and spent a good time at the store and she was very patient everytime. Loved our whole experience from shopping to delivery. We love our new mattress and wanted to thank sleep country and the staff for all the service.

Wish I could give zero stars! Walked in, got laughed at by the sales person for asking if there's a fee for their "custom pillow" service, and when I asked her why she laughed at me, she said it was because I asked the question then she walked away. I ended up buying a pillow at another store that same day. BTW: I'm a previous customer having bought a tempur-pedic king mattress set through Sleep Country before (different location), but they lost a customer for good!

I had a thorough saleslady who sold me pillows for a buy one get one free deal. That was on a Wednesday and she said they would be there by Saturday. I told her I would be away for the weekend and asked if I could come on Monday, to which she said that would be fine. Monday when I came for pick up, the salesman asked if I had received a phone call and then told me that the pillows wouldn't be in until Thursday. I did not receive a call until Friday, which again meant that I had to wait until the next Monday to pick them up. Pillows seem good, but I am not a fan of the run around.

My partner and I bought a house this year by and with that comes the extra expense of furniture. A colleague of mine suggested that I go to Sleep Country and check it out.
All the staff at Sleep Country were very helpful. Travis and Tony went above and beyond with my experience. Tony's knowledge of the different products, and helping me figure out my sleep needs was the best bed shopping experience I could have had. I will continue to shop for all my bed needs at Sleep Country, I highly recommend going and seeing Tony at the Stonebridge location for your next bedroom purchased.

Wow never been this frustrated with a person or company this much, ever. Bought a mattress, didn't arrive to the time I needed. Asked for a replacement of equal or better quality because I had no other mattress for that day. The woman I was talking to about the delayed delivery got very angry with actual swearing. I went to get a refund for a product I had yet to receive, especially because of the bad customer service rep, and was told there is nothing they can do. Head office has to mail it in to me and wait over a week for the check. Took over an hour to get a higher up who could do something, and spend additional time to get a replacement, but still no refund. If you need a mattress, don't buy from them, their customer service is the worst of anyone I've ever dealt with and have bad refund policies.

NEVER go through this company. They have devastated me and my family financially, and their customer service is deplorable. The company is extremely dishonest and doesn’t honour their 100 day warranty. The bed they sent has absolutely killed my back and they told me to keep it longer to wear it in and see, then when I reached almost 90 days of being uncomfortable and in pain every night from their poor quality mattress they refused to accept it because there is “faint” staining. The mattress is VERY white and in good condition but is not pristine / mint white because it had been slept on (with sheets of course) for 3 months so of course it’s not going to look exactly as it left the store. I’m on disability and this company has left me with serious back pain and an unusable overpriced bed.

In short. They Lie! I bought a new king size mattress and was assured, no less than three times, by the salesperson that when they brought the new matress to my house their staff would move my old matress into the basement for me.
The new mattress arrived and to my surprise the movers claimed that they NEVER move old matresses around. So I now have a Bedroom with one bed and two mattresses. I called the store and asked to have the manager call me back to discuss the situation-but I never did get a callback.

Makes me wonder what else they lied to me about such as warranty, return policy, price, I don't know about the other stores, but I would give this one a miss.

The salesman we dealt with made our experience 5 stars. I'm certain his name was Tom. I was hesitant to go into Sleep Country thinking the prices would be crazy but I was pleasantly surprised that they weren't. I was upfront with our salesman advising him I dislike being pressured and that we needed our space. He was not hovering nor pressuring us whatsoever. I like to take my time looking at mattresses without someone starring at me. I told Tom what we were looking for, what our budget was, what we didn't want and our concerns. He pointed us in the right direction and helped us choose the best mattress we've ever owned. The two guys who delivered our mattress were awesome! Incredibly friendly and helpful. I appreciated Tom, and the delivery guys. We will definitely be coming back to Sleep Country for all future purchases!
