Sobeys - Rochdale

We went looking for Gluten free stuffing and they were the only one in town that had any in stock. Thank you so much for saving our turkey dinner.

Super helpfully specially made me sandwiches for a trip extra wrapped to keep fresh. Way above and beyond.

Fresh fruit/veggies, deli, bakery, pharmacy, and lots of other edible things. I'm sure it's just a sign of the times but they seem to have trouble keeping some things in stock and some prices are higher than the competition, but everything's on fire anyway so I guess that's how it goes.

Always enjoyed the product and services sobeys and Safeway provide not a big fan of the prices.

Rude. Came in 5 mins before closing but won't let me buy water coz they closed the till early. But I saw an elderly couple paid for their water. The "manager" (i guess she was) even argued with me the exact time. She insisted it's only 2 mins left before closing not 5 mins. Ridiculous. Not recommending shopping here.

Wonderful selection of fresh produce. Great selection of all other products. Very enjoyable shopping experience. Staff very knowledgeable and friendly. Love that they use paper bags instead plastic. Will definitely shop there again.

This store is always very tidy. It's not very crowded or busy any of the times I've gone. I love that you can collect Air Miles on purchases. They have some unique food options that can not be found anywhere else which is wonderful. Prices tend to be slightly higher which is the reason for 4/5 stars. The sales are great if you flyer shop. The parking lot has lots of space. Staff are always friendly.

Found more than what I needed. Cashier actually told us that the chicken was buy one get one! Otherwise would have missed it!

Great place to shop, need to watch prices as is everywhere now. Love how clean it is and the customer service is second to none. All the staff are very helpful and friendly. Always a nice touch as they know how to pack groceries.

Fresh meat and produce always in stock at Sobeys. A helpful and positive staff makes shopping here stress free. Did I mention they bag your groceries? Don't forget your reusable bags.

Fresh food and great sales. Welcoming and respectful atmosphere. I'm using my own hand sanitizer and was no pressure about it. Ppl with or without masks respect each other and the social distance! Great place to shop!

Prices are a bit higher, but that makes it faaar less busy. Good selection, some excellent unannounced discounts, and the shopping is fast; the time saved is great.

The dollar store next door has fresher products. Like oh my gosh is everything expired at sobeys and still on for full price? Gross

Watched a homeless person urinate on the car next to mine. Besides that the prices were absurd and the freshness in the produce was not there. Sorry I don’t buy food that looks like it’s already turned. I won’t be back!

Expired food and expensive prices. What else could you ask for? Stand in the freezer isle next to an employee to Avoid a six foot space line up? Sure! That is the last time I ever step foot in this store. Disgusting

This is the worst sobeys I have been to in my life! Scam artists at work! Very Covid 19 unsafe! I had a shower as soon as I got home. The meat I bought was not fresh, it was brown underneath and only a red color on top. Looks like they put fresh meat over top of the rancid stuff. Smelled like feet so I chucked it.

Since when do you not have to wear a mask inside of store? If this is your new policy as the numbers go up I will be shopping elsewhere

Place is a dump. Salads are expired. I can just imagine what else goes on here. COVID-19 rules are not being followed. Never again!

Sobeys has items you cant find in other stores, cannelloni noodles, coffee cream, love this store! The grocery girl is amazing, tells me where everything is that i need@

Coleslaw was expired. Covid polices have you next to an employee (stranger) 2ft away from you. Very smart

Bought 3 salads they make. Pasta totally not cooked, harder than eldente, tasteless and disgusting. Make your. Own. Cheaper and will taste good.

Better produce then walmart and more convenient then walking through all of the supercenter. Clean friendly and good hours.

Staff are super nice and we pick up our produce there when we're not getting it from the farmers market. Would highly recommend this place.

This is a great store.clean and well kept.great selection of grocery items.the deli is excellent.the eat on the go food items are a plus for sure.the pot pies are really something, a personal favorite

Fairly conveniently located for the North Reginans. This Sobeys is located by a Walmart, some quick dine in/takeout places, and it has a Post Office inside of it. The produce is typically fresh and plentiful stocked and their deli selection is pretty large. Staff always seem friendly and helpful as well. It’s too bad the liquor store arm of the business is across Lewvan though. I would think that if they were attached into one building then there would be an added selling point of convenience; especially in the -40 weather (I’m not sure if that’s an option though).

Was disappointed. Website showed butter croissants, there were only 'regular croissants'. This was the reason I went there. Quality breakfast foods. Did not bother with their other bread products. Safeway and Costco, it is!

This is my preferred grocery store. We would shop here more often if it wasn't in the same parking lot as Walmart North. It's very busy which makes getting in and out a test of patience.
Other than access, the store itself has great produce that's well maintained. The deli is well staffed and they always have a great selection of bulk pasta salads and side dishes. There is also a great selection of prepared multi-portion meals. They also have fresh "grocery store sushi". That always hits the spot. The rest of the store is always in order and tidy.
