Staples

Staples has been really good. Sometimes items are a bit pricey but other times they are so cheap that I don’t understand how they can be that cheap. The workers seem friendly for the most part but just introverted which is kinda nice cause they don’t like follow you around asking what you need, but if you have a question you can ask!
Side note: it smells like paper which is unpleasant but expected.

As we are from out of town, we required someone who could print 2 x's 1 sheet document. When I initially asked at customer services, the employee informed me they do provide this service, She proceeded to sell me a Staples money card (I was paying cash), handed me the instructions and pointed to the printer/computer area. She told me to just follow those directions. As a senior, I was somewhat confused as to which machine to use. When I returned to the desk, a second employee was there, who helped me print the documents I needed. She was so polite very helpful and patient. Excellent service is alive and well at this store depending on who you ask for assistance. I was only at the very front of the store so can not comment on store supplies, aisles or items displayed. I would recommend this store as they do provide services that very few stores offer.

There was no garbage can that I could find so I had to go next door to throw out my shopping drink, a bit inconvenient.

Poor Staples! The once mighty office supply store is a mere shadow of it's long before self. I hardly darken the doors but the odd occasion I do, it reconfirms why I do not go there more often. Shabby service. Shabby product. Website is poison. Might as well buy the basics from Dollar Store. I am sure its sourced the same place. Next time I am inclined to stop there, I hope someone stops me.

Pathetic place to get the printout from here the staffs are not helpful at all five emails I had sent but never received a code

Staff in the print out and photocopy section are just acting busy indeed they are hanging out around. They are not helpful.

Have visited this location several times for prints and to get stationary, staff is always friendly and one of the very few places in Saskatoon that has all necessary items available at a reasonable price.

Absolutely awesome service. I bought the wrong ink cartridge for my printer so I went to return it. The guy working there was able to give credit for the one I bought and put it towards the ink cartridge I needed.

Went to purchase a chair but Staples only displays chairs to make customers buy online. All the chairs I was willing to buy they had no stock and manager was unwilling to sell display models until I complained. Manager was rude and unfriendly.

Online ordering was a waste of time. Was told order would be ready the following day (instead of 2 hours as website states)
Majority of order hadn't even been picked, even though all products were in stock when order was placed now most of it is out of stock.

Just stopped in to Staples today to try and get buisness cards printed. The lady at the solutions service till seemed reluctant to serve us. She was trying to convince us to go online to place the order instead of placing it with her right there in store.
If we went online and placed it we might get same day service but if we placed it with her in store she would have to cut it and it wouldn't be ready today.
We live out of town and explained that to her, she said thats fine? Um ok.
Terrible service. Wasted time and gas into the city. Will not be using staples for future printing needs.

Theres never enough staff and the printing staff theres only 1 person and a lind up that takes longer then 10 min. Standing there is tomuch. Onw person all he wanted a photo copy of one page and he was left in the line standing for 1 photo copy. The staff dont help out they want you to use there printing copies which are not easy to use. Itd inefficient and unparsonable.

Went with a spefic item in mind, found it easily and paid. Staff was polite, did not need their assistance.

I have today visit this place for printing of 250 pages but one of executive told me that he can’t help me because he is busy in addition to that two printers were out of order and nobody is there to help for the printing anyways this could not be expect from Staples.

Arrived first in store for some printing at 11am on Sunday. Order to be ready at 12 so arrived at 1220. Order not ready even though I had to travel out of town. How does an influx of orders after mine cause mine to not be done. Not pleased.

2 number of passport size photos are at $14.99 here. Cheap compared to other place. And also it is quick. Lamination also available.

Staff have been difficult almost every time I shop here. Have started to source things at other stores.

I like Staples most days. Maybe though opening up a second till would be helpful when there is a line up to the back of the store. Opening up the second till will tell customers "We respect your time ". Having the one till tells people " Ya we just do not care". Wed December 30th

When here 3 times and been disappointed the whole time. Prices on the items are different from the price in the system. Had posters printed, they told me monday would be latest. One whole week has passed by and no phone call, finally decided to go in person since nobody was answering the phone. Turns out my posters was already done, no apologizing, acted like everything was ok. Never going back here ever.

Very nice people and very helpful espasaly the person who repairs computers he is the only one we go to.

I have bought an air-pods a few week ago.
Unfortunately, It is a low quality product. Some functions don’t work properly.

Delivers as always. I went for school supplies less than a week before school starts and the shelves were well stocked and almost all the products I needed were available at sale prices. I asked a Rep to check stock one one item and they were out of stock, then they let me know both other locations in the city had lots available. Great customer service as always.

Disappointed 3 times. 3 strikes and that is all for me. I really liked this store in the past it was very helpful and educational for me. Things have changed. This is my last experience with them.

I had a cell phone; it had a liquid screen saver from Satples - I loved it. In March i got a new phone; so right away I took it in for a liquid screen saver. My screen saver is now peeling off? (liquid doesn't peel).
I went in find out what is going on. They said there is nothing they can do. They don't want to look back to see if they put on a liquid saver or this one that is peeling off. I think they charged me for a liquid one but they don't want to look at the bill "It could be for any phone" They cannot tell [another way of saying that I am lying to them].
I have used Staples a lot. I have tried to stay loyal, but now yet again another mistake (wrong screen saver at the very least) and the accusation that my words cannot be trusted. It is time for me to move on. Good-bye Staples good luck.

Great place for getting table accessories for cable management, organisers, fancy notebooks and electronics (the best). I love it.

My girlfriend ordered a desk online from this location, the order was supposed to be delivered on a Thursday. Needless to say based on the 1 star rating the desk was not delivered on the Thursday, which was annoying but not terrible the 1 star part was that they put a delivery window of "By 8pm" and when she tried to contact them they told her it was still in Calgary and they couldn't help even though tracking said it had arrived in Saskatoon. I called and got this customer service agent who claimed she would send a request for a delivery window and that we would receive an email with more info well that wasn't the case never got an update or any real information.so my girlfriend was force to clear her ENTIRE day to wait for a desk delivery with a 12 hour window.literally the worst management of a delivery I have ever experienced from a store and the lack of customer service was a joke no-one knew anything or made an attempt to find anything out.its a small wonder why people order from amazon etc.at least then you can get a tiny amount of useful customer service not no customer service at all and a general lack of caring. Perhaps management should invest in a course on basic customer service then they might be slightly useful to their customers.

Update: The desk was delivered Left on her doorstep without so much as a knock.my girlfriend is 5'3 the desk weighs over 100lbs.how on gods green earth do they expect her to move this in down the stairs to her basement suite, every other company I have dealt with in my life has treated furniture deliveries different then parcel but from reviews I have read and my personal experience I have come to the conclusion that this staples location has no regard for customers we are just annoying people with money to them. I strongly recommend that you go to a different staples if you want to be treated with respect because you wont get it here

Staff is nice, and store is clean and well laid out. My only gripe is that the print stations have very clunky controls, especially when printing from a mobile device.

Went for a WiFi speaker. I have vision issues and the sales associate handed me a clock radio. Returning it was tedious.
Even though I explained the error at no time did the three staff involved in the return attempt to find me the appropriate product.

Staples is always a good place to get your regular and not so regular office supplies - folders, notebooks, assorted pens, binders, photocpy services, tech supplies, office furniture. They have many computer chairs and tables. I also go to their Clearance display where the items are always very interesting! One of my favorite area is right as soon as you enter, they have a table display of various notebooks, mugs, etc.that are novelties! I always look forward to checking that out. They give you credit if you collect AirMiles. And even if we really cannot travel yet, we can rack-up the points, and use them later once traveling is back! I just wish they had more staff available. When you need one, you have to go either in front, or way at the back door to wait for someone to come out. Staples is a pretty safe place to shop. I never felt uncomfortable shopping there!

Found what I needed within minutes. Very well organized and very good signage!
Only downside was the long wait in lines

Almost always my Staples experience has been very positive, and this location does not disappoint either. If I had any complaints, it's their phone system and trying to get someone.

Very helpful personnel in printing center with complicated codes + transfers. Half the machines were waiting for repairs. I have spent hundreds of hours there during the years. Very successful results.

I went to staples for FedEx and there is no clear sign indicated where the FedEx is and the customer service is worse.

Lots clearance items to save some cash and the staff were cheerful and I formative. All around a pleasant surprise for a boring trip to get envelopes

The Manager at the this store was beyond accommodating today when dealing with an obscure request. He went above and beyond and it was greatly appreciated.

Always love staples. I've been shopping there for my computer and documentation supplies for years. Great staff and clean place to find what you're looking for. Everyone is helpful and courteous.

March 23-2020 just got kicked out of lineup at staples on 8 street for verbal harassment to another potential customer! They opened at noon, YET a couple of minutes before noon (a light bulb at staples came on) and a guy started putting tape down for required 2 meter spacing! SO I kept trying to explain to the old biddy behind me, that i wanted her to give me a 2 meter buffer! She started YAPPING BACK AND DID NOT MOVE BACK (maybe my message was going in one ear and whistling out the other ear) so the worker didn't even come back to resolve the issue, BUT took the easy way out and kicked me out! THERE is a lot of IDIOTS in the world BOTH that customer and the staples worker!

Not super impressed with the fact that "I've shut down the machine" is an acceptable response to do you provide laminating services. Especially when it's still 30 min before closing. Brutal customer service in that department as this is not our first issue there.

I thought the sales rep/computer technicians were knowledgeable and demonstrated that by their discussions with me. They seemed to appreciate my needs and went beyond the usual sales talk to help me feel comfortable with my new tablet

Brought my laptop in for a super minor fix with the screen, everyone was friendly and all BUT, it took a week for a quote, and it was cheaper to buy a new laptop than to get it repaired! Go somewhere else for repairs. I called the store daily for updates and no one ever answered. Ended up paying $60 for them to screw me over and I got no help. Very disappointed as I am a university student without a laptop for over a week.

I'm writing as I'm waiting for an employee in the laptop department. I've asked someone for help, they tried to call someone down. Two other employees have walked past asking if I needed something. They said they would grab somebody else. It's been 30min and I'm going elsewhere to by a laptop. Good thing London drugs is next door.

Was at the print and copy centre. Was ignored for a full ten minutes. The attendant was likely doing something for another customer, but didn't acknowledge me and another customer, who was an older lady, and pretty upset about the wait.

Always 100% for me, I had an excellent customer service experience. They have everything relating to Office supplies, School materials, craft materials etc.

Tried to buy post it notes but they couldn’t get the barcode to scan. Waited for five minutes while they tried to figure it out but finally had to leave cause I didn’t have more time. The manager stood nearby and watched but did not help out

Good place for knowing what you want in an emergency little pricey though on accessories like toners excetera will match online pricing on hard wear

Had some out of the store work done. Poster was to be put on a foam board. No accountability for the damaged poster as the foam board was bent in 3 places. Whether it was damaged through shipping or in store no one inspected it before trying to send us on our way. Was refunded but not compensated for the poster. Even management didnt know what to say but left it to the poor girl who was trying to seek help from someone outside the store.
