I spent allot of money at this location over the years, office supplies, clear floor matts, steno chairs, furniture, you name it, and now because my receipt is too old, I can't do a return (two tape cassettes) that are both completely sealed and completely resalable and I had my receipt. I have started buying my office supplies in Calgary. Now I am going to shop at wholesale places that don't make it difficult to do an exchange. It's unfortunate because I used to really like Staples.

I like this store. Went to get some printing done, the staff was very helpful and very clear with instructions on how to print stuff off. Had no problems and didnt feel as technology challenged as I really am, lol, left feeling better than I did going in!

Sale on laptop, website says one left.go to store, the only one left is the floor model.none at any of the other stores.sales clerk refused to sell it. Didn't even ask the manager to see if it was an option and I didn't want to be a "Karen" and ask for the manager, so no cash sale for this store! Poor customer service will always be remembered.

I went in here to look around for presents. Let them know I had my bags because I didn’t have my vehicle and was waiting for a ride and asked if I could store them behind a counter so Nobody was thinking I was taking stuff. They wouldn’t put my bags behind a counter and proceeded to follow me around the store. You should have Karen’s work at the front. And I do plan on making a complaint to corporate. I’ll outkaren you.

Ordered pictures, got an email confirmation they were in, drove there, they couldn't find them ask to come back another time. (like really). Was told would get a phone call, 5 days later no phone call go back in and ask for them, they say they can't find them. (Again really) they asked if we got confirmation so we show them. They look for about 20 mins. Can't find them, so they print them right then and there. Like really, you couldn't have done that the first time i was in. Not my fault your system in which you organiz things is messy and no one knows anything.

Apparently "2 in stock" means none in store and one available to ship within the city. So after sitting in the parking lot ordering it online with a promise of next day shipping the shipping company refuses to deliver it, they just say I kept changing the delivery time but never talked to me and won't respond to my attempts to contact them and just edit their shipping status history on the tracking page to cover up that they've said it's been out for delivery four times now.

Get a better courier or better yet let someone pick it up in store when it exists in store.

Also fix your online inventory so it's not lying about how many are available to buy, don't count display models as regular stock, don't count online only as regular stock.

Really really poor customer service of the print centre, the employee is new, he have no idea what is doing, the manager not give him any help! All they know just tell me order online! If I can find out the problem online, I won’t waste my time to your actual store to ask your questions as well. Not going to come to this staple anymore.

Very good customer service and staff. I was there for printing services. Glad that I came here. Very simple to use the printer and they explain everything as well as with writing instructions.

Store is clean, staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. They have always had exactly what I was looking for. Definitely one of my go to Staples stores.

Very Quiet, and not too many staff around to lend a hand if you happen to need help. If you're looking for a so loo shopping experience, you can't really go wrong, but online Realtors, or the Memory Express not far down the road, offer better options.

Searched for desks on their web site, the options that were displayed were: not sold in store, not available for delivery, and available for delivery. If you don't have it in inventory then why would you advertise it in your site? Quite pointless really.
What's worse, you cannot sort by availability to display ONLY the ones available at the store.
If I want to buy a desk then i would want to take it home today, not a week or two weeks from today so i searched other retailers and found several similar desks at Jysk ready for pickup. See ya.

Due to supply chain issues, they didn’t have any of the items (office chairs) that I wanted, but staff were helpful in trying to locate the chairs I was interested in.

This store almost never matches what the website says they have in stock. Super frustrating to make a special trip just for a thing you’ve been searching high and low for. This happened twice this week. Also only one person working the floor tonight absolutely run off his feet, but still being pleasant and helpful so would have given 1 star if it wasn’t for him. Pretty sure I’ve been to other staples stores where the website also didn’t match so I think accountability should probably lie somewhere higher up and not with frontline staff. Seems like a system issue.

This review is for specifically their computer repair services.

I came here over a year ago to fix my computer that shorted out. At that time, I knew nothing about what was wrong and took their word for everything. They immediately told me that I need to back up my files, and that I was likely to lose all of them, without looking into my computer at all. This was just 3 minutes in. So I took their word for it and bought a 2TB hard drive for just above $100 (there price matching is pretty good). With that hard drive, I had to pay a $50 fee to back up my computer and transfer my files to the hard drive. Additionally, in order for there "tech expert" to actually see my computer, I had to pay $80. I spent about $200 so far. They then got me to buy a tech subscription for a year for $20 a month, as they told me this would cover other costs as well. The person told me he wasn't trying to sell me anything extra (As it turns out, it ended up costing more than me just paying for the services immediately). Few days later I got a call and the "tech expert" cannot fix my computer, and my computer had to be shipped off to Vancouver to be repaired. At that point, I gave up on them and got tired of spending money. I decided to go to a local computer shop called memory express. All I had to do was pay $50 and then get a call 3 days later that my computer was fixed, and do you want to know what was wrong? A shorted out USB port needed to be unplugged from the motherboard, and my computer turned right back on.

Staples is a great place to buy stationery supplies, but please avoid going here to fix your computer. Small local computer shops offer better services and they do not have the desire to rip you off.

Very unimpressed. I made an online order for curbside pickup. Nobody answered the phone. When I reluctantly went inside I saw 3 employees (none with customers) there was no reason to not answer the phone. When I complained about it the woman at the desk just ignored my complain. I'd love to say that next time I'll just go in but instead I'll say next time I'll take my business elsewhere.

It's a Staples, so you kind of know what to expect. Having said that, I walked around for 15 minutes and eventually had to track down someone for help, only to discover they don't carry monitor mounts in store.
For general office supplies it's a good spot with okay prices.

Staples is a great place for all of your school and office supply needs and so much more. I especially really like their printing and shipping services, you can even get things done right from home on your mobile device or a computer. The staff was extremely helpful with any questions or things I didn't understand, and the staff was very friendly, great place.

My colleagues and I ordered material for printing here. We had explained what we wanted and provided a file to work with and how they file would need to be edited for printing. They said they noted it on the file. We went to pick it up and found it was done incorrectly, we got a bad attitude from their staff but they did fix their mistake. We went back a second time for more printing thinking they won't make the same mistake and again they did. We were given attitude, box of printed material that we didn't order was slammed on the counter. This type of behavior is not acceptable, this Staples either needs to retrain the bad attitude we received from their two employees at this counter or they need new employees.

They almost always have exactly what I need. Wide variety of pens, paper, markers and everything else I may need for school or work.

If I ever have problems with a product, Cheri has always been there to help me get an exchange or refund.

The staff are friendly and helpful, and they’ll help you get exactly what you may need.

Ahhh ha! Natalie up to her old tricks again I see. This Natalie must be the most rude little scuff going. She is loud and unfriendly. She overtalks and is just plain ignorant. You will find MANY PEOPLE have mentioned her on here as being rude. The supervisor named Neil even agreed, she has NO PEOPLE SKILLS and Neil said the new manager was looking to get rid of her.

Very rude staff in printing department at Circle Drive location. Always used to take photos at Staples on 8th Street and had great expirience. Never will go back to this location for photos or printing. Better Staples on 8 or London Drugs also provides excellent service.

Deal at Staples all the time on Betts Avenue was in the area of Circle Drive came into the solution shop Natalie was incredibly unhelpful unfriendly and rude. She should not be on the front line and miss informing customers. Not a good experience will not be back.

Aditya in the technology sales department was great. He made it clear as to the options on new laptops without any jargon, he made comparatives understandable and he was not a high pressure sales guy. We started there, checked the other retailers, and returned to buy from him. Great service.

Staples is a huge waste of time and money. I brought a hp laptop from staples and I purchased their easy care plan that cost and extra $260. I was having issues with the wifi connection when starting up the laptop so I brought it to staple. The first time staple sent it to depot they did a factory restart and wiped out all of my files without permission and the issue still wasn’t fixed. It took 2 months and 6 trips to staples before they offered me a “reduced” buy back, which was a store credit for half of the money I spent on the laptop

Amazing service. We had a crucial deadline that had to be met. I called from Ontario, to help one of our stores in Saskatoon. Steven (from Print) honestly went above and beyond helping me with quotes and poster size suggestions to help benefit our store. Had the posters printed and set for certain time pick up. We met hour deadline with his amazing customer service. Thank you so much Steven.

Not a fan of this franchise. Every time I go in a staples, it's impossible to find help. There's never any staff around. I have to wander around like a game of hide and seek if I want to buy something.

Their website lies and/or is always out of date. The stock online never matches what's available in the stores. I am currently able to put items in my cart that explicitly state are available for same day pick up at my nearest store. Yet when I arrive at the store, the staff have no idea what I'm talking about.

It's been 2 weeks since I notified a staff member that the website is erroneously selling unavailable products. Yet, again today, the website is still lying and accepting purchases for items that aren't even in existence.

Staples isn't the only retailer do this either. I suspect it's intentional to get people in the physical store in hopes of an alternative impulse buy. Not even that is working though, since they have no stock to offer as an alternative.

The best staples can do is "special order" something that needs to be paid for in advance. This defeats the purpose of a brick and mortar retail environment. If I wanted to shop online, I can find all your stock elsewhere for cheaper.

Are you here to serve Saskatoon with 3 locations? Or are you a glorified online pickup depot?

This is store is staffed well with friendly workers. The copy department offers great services and excellent products. This is one of Saskatoon's Best office supply stores.

Staples offers secure online purchasing and print-from-phone document imaging. Upload your photos via eMail and print at your location. For a minimal extra shop charge, print your docs and photography onto card stock.

The customer service at this Staples, specifically in the printing department was highly disappointing. They messed up my order for a few prints (which is fine, mistakes happen) but I barely got an apology or any sort of discount that i felt was deserved since i took the time to come in last week, consult with the older dark haired woman at the desk, talked about specifically what size and paper I wanted, and then I came in today for pickup and was absolutely disappointed to see the paper was just regular paper and the wrong dimensions. This isnt the first time i've had issues with the same woman and her less than positive attitude and lack of knowledge for basic printing needs.
I understand nobody is perfect and i respect various reasons why someones customer service might not be spot on all the time. But when every single time i have an issue and this woman never improves, thats a problem.

Don't typically post reviews on businesses but have to give this location credit for a job well done. April was amazingly helpful and when I encountered a missing part from my purchase she had it all sorted within minutes. Hard to find customer service like this these days!
