Went there and had the buffet around 8, then I ended my day with food poisoning. Maybe I'm allergic to rice or I'm having a gluten intolerance but I do know that I got sick

Price for single buffet is outrageous.frick $25
and the food is below par.my rating for thier food 1-10.a 3

Great place, great food, Star House has been around since before I was a kid, owners have changed but the same great food and taste!

The deep fryer is not hot enough. The shrimp/egg rolls are soaked with grease and it’s not a “one time” thing. The broccoli was soggy and, well let’s not kick a dead horse. Save your money.

Theres a reason why people are rating this place 1 star, DO NOT go there. Spend you money else where, my whole group felt sick afterward.to give you an idea of the effort they put into the food, the photo is a cookie that was as thin a a cracker! I hope Management sees these negative reviews and take action.

Waitress sat us. Never came back to ask if we wanted a drink. But could go to every table around us. Hair wrapped around the broccoli from the pepper chicken. Waitress handled it horribly. We didn't even eat one plate and we paid over $38 still because as the waitress stated "that could be Any customers hair" then laughed in our face. Should not have had to pay a single cent. Disgusting and horrible food and service. Get qualified staff.

I am hard pressed to find decent Chinese food on the Prairies. I would rate these folks 2.5 stars as it was ok. Selection in my opinion was weak for the buffet and the person running the till could of used some help. Little frustrating waiting for them to take an order as well as deal with take out orders then finally get around to you waiting to pay.

Food was MIDS, cookie was no cookie it was basically a cracker with 2 chocolate chips on it, chow mein MEGA MIDS, if im being honest the rice was decent, the ice cream was by far the best thing in the entire buffet

Buffet very well attended. All food hot & displayed well. Waitress very friendly & very attentive. Highly recommended for a great dining experience.

Overcooked mushy rice and undercooked mushy dough in the center of chicken balls. Disappointing and unappetizing.

3 & 1/2 out of 5. Far as I know, only 2 places in PA for buffet. This place is the better one. Friendly staff, food was warm and fresh, at least when I was there.
