Subaru of Saskatoon

One of the best experiences I’ve had buying from a dealership. We agreed on the price over the phone before even coming to look at the vehicle and there was no surprises when the final bill came. It’s a nice, clean building and all of the staff were very nice. Brad Chittick was our salesman and he was professional, responsive and answered all of our questions. He never made us feel rushed or as though we were a burden. Just an overall good experience and we wouldn’t hesitate to buy from them again. They sell quality even when you’re buying used. Definitely recommend!
EDIT: So we’ve had the car about a week now. We’ve noticed a few obvious things the mechanics missed.
We’re still happy with the car and the overall experience (sales staff and finance people are great!) but…can’t recommend the service department.

The staff at Subaru did their very best to make my experience with them the best they could given my uniquely unfortunate circumstances. I ended up trading in my previous Subaru vehicle, which they gave me a great deal on, and financed a new 2024 Crosstrek. I dealt with all departments (service, parts, sales and financing) during my interactions this week and everyone was friendly, upfront and took the time to answer all my questions. There were a few miscommunications between departments but the staff went above and beyond to correct them and made sure I was happy with the final outcome, even going as far as staying late on a Friday night. Overall, they did well helping me make the most out of a tough situation and I am very appreciative. Particular shoutout to Christian the service manager, Quy the sales manager, Ryan the business manager, and Kim and Brad on the sales team for helping me out this week!

I purchased a new 2024 Subaru Crosstrek here just about 3 weeks ago. The service from the team was the best I had experienced from my most recent vehicle shopping. When we pulled up for the test drive the car was out front and already running & warmed up for us. That seems small but it was such great service and made me feel good that they were ready for me when we arrived. I also loved the full team experience where everybody was there to help you find the vehicle best for you - it wasn't a competition between staff. I loved that no pressure feeling of being able to talk to and ask questions of anyone there. Everyone was so friendly and helpful.

The team worked hard to get my vehicle ready and really went above and beyond to get me on the road before Christmas break. Thank you!

Friendly sales team, generous with their time and attention. Yes they will pitch and show off their products and how you can spend money - but their approach is not pressure oriented and they allow you space to think and come to conclusions your own way.

I bought a Forester and the tires wore out more in inner side than outside. The front desk guy for the service center convinced me to do alignment then later I realized they made it even worse! They only adjusted the toe-in value and made it too small! He told me the alignment needed to be done every half year! The amazing thing was that his face didn’t flush a bit when he was saying that! LOL! They’ll never see my cat anymore!

The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, helped find exactly what I was looking for and made my purchasing experience of my first brand new car an amazing enjoyable experience.

I had a 100,000 km service completed at Subaru of Saskatoon in May 2023. This service included rotating and torquing my tires.

When I went to change my tires in the fall of 2023, it was discovered the wheel lug nuts had been over torqued by Subaru of Saskatoon and 4 of the wheel studs had to be replaced (which was expensive). I was in a city without a Subaru dealership when this occurred and had to use a tire shop for the repair.

In addition to this, following the service at Subaru of Saskatoon, I had a fluid leak and the oil drain bolt was over tightened.

When I called the Subaru of Saskatoon Service Department, they gave me a pre-scripted response and stated there was nothing they could do. They offered no solution to this issue and were dismissive of my concerns.

I would not recommend their service department for their poor service and lack of accountability.
