I haven't been to Sunsera in years. I recently asked to be removed from their mailing list, but continue to receive monthly newsletters via e-mail. To add, I noticed that all the recipients' e-mail addresses were visible, so I also made them (whoever is sending out the e-mails) aware of their breach of privacy and that they should be BCCing everyone. The following month (s), I noticed that they were now BCCing everyone; however, I am still on the list, despite asking twice to be removed. I know I can easily block the e-mail address, but there should be an option to opt out of e-mails if you are no longer interested. Thank you.

I got a haircut at Sunsera on 8th St on Sunday. It was a horrible experience.
I decided to try this salon because it’s so close to where I live.
I was seen by a guy, I think his name was Tony (I might be wrong).
His technique was atrocious - honestly there wasn’t one. He said he’s been doing hair for 35 years but trust me when I say it seemed like he’d been doing it for 35 MINUTES tops.
He took off way more length than we agreed on, I provided a reference photo and left it open on my phone the entire hair cut. My hair looks absolutely nothing like it.
My hair is choppy, uneven, weirdly short in some parts with random longer pieces of hair. The layers are incredibly inconsistent.
I have never cried over a hair cut but this one caused that reaction. I spent $50 to have my hair ruined and now have to pay to get it fixed by an actually good stylist.
DO NOT GO HERE for hair cuts. Save yourself from throwing money to look ridiculous when you leave the salon.
I usually go to Luxe - and trust me when I say I will NEVER try a different salon again no matter how convenient the location is.

My kids have been seeing Cara since they were infant/toddlers. She is absolutely fantastic! She takes extra care and understands that they are going to move and wiggle, that they are going to itch, and they are going to ask lots of questions! And she always listens and chats with them!

My haircut was great until my curls died down. I had 3 inch layers. Went to another salon and the stylist said she did not even blend the hair. Very bad cut. I only asked for a trim since I was growing out my hair for a year, and now it’s a little past my collarbone thanks to this mistake! I will not be going back.

I have needed to have my nails done in order to strengthen them. I recently moved back to Saskatoon and did not hesitate to return to Justyne to have my nails done on a regular basis. I am able to set appointments without issue and have had great results each time I have my nails done. I would recommend her to anyone!

Got a groupon from them and they used broken chairs and did not provide the full service that was promised. At first, my friends thought that maybe the service is just not great quality. But after giving them a call to book in my parents, they told me they dont even have the appropriate equipment to provide the service. When I told them that my friends went to them a couple days ago they said they would talk to their manager and give me a call back. I figured we would give them a second chance to redeem themselves but I called them 4 times to remind them of this incident and never got a call back from the manager. Never going to be doing business with a company that scams their customers.

I got my haircut by mustafa, it was just the best cut i have had so far in saskatoon.he was very friendly and knowledge, I will definitely be coming back again, and I will highly recommending Mustafa to all my friend.thank you Mustafa.

Wasn't goig to post a revew cause really a waste of time but this place is a joke. I saw a girl for lashes a frw times and when I called last week to book a appointment for my lashes I was told " she doesn't work here anymore" and knsteD of being able to tell em where she went I was told " yeah all our techs quit here" I asked nice a few times I'd they would pleas tell me where the girl who did my lashes went so I can gi get my lasjed done by her again and still no answer.girl who I was talking to was very rude and said they were booked rlfor the dq ll and all of their lash techs had gone else where to work. I had a Groupon. 60 minute hot stone. Not knowing where this place was, I went to my Groupon and and got the address. Not the address. Not the phone number either. Got the phone number and called. They said ya Groupon was doing that not sure why. I told them then that I might be 5 minutes late. They said that was fine. I got there at about 5 minutes after the hour. I went in and there was no one up front. Waited almost another 5 minutes. I even walked over the salon part to see if anyone was there. Nope. Someone finally came. She looked up my apt then told me to wait in waiting room. Waited another couple of minutes. By the time I was in the room and on the table it was quarter after or so.

Not a nice massage. Rocks weren't hot and it was very light pressure. Almost no pressure. I remember thinking my 4 year old niece could do this.

When she told me she was done and left. I got up and it was 5 minutes to the next hour. I got maybe 35 minutes out of 60.

In the end I'm just happy it was a Groupon and I didn't pay full price for that. Won't be going back.

Julia was very cordial and trimmed my beard and my hair. I did not have a booked appointment but the salon accommodated my request to get the services done without waiting.

Go see Ashley - she is amazing for skin care - super knowledgeable and easy to talk to. Also for lash needs - I wouldn't go anywhere else. Good prices and fast.

Tawny does great work for women and men. She’s a pro and she happens to be the only one my wife trusts when it comes to her hair so a big thumbs up to her

I had a groupon for this salon and they made me pay more when I got there, I have been to many spas around the world with groupons and have never had this happen. I was very confused about this. Staff were not the friendliest. Treatment was ok, did not seem like they appreciated clients who book with a groupon. They have a whole list of rules about them when you are in the waiting room and it just seemed unnecessary. Based on this experience I would not go back.

I love the atmosphere, I feel very comfortable and relaxed. The girls always are very welcoming and do a great job every time I come in! I will always support Sunsera.

I like that they have lots of options, and they usually have some good specials for a limited budget. Today I dealt with Bryanne and she was AWESOME! She was helpful and took time to explain things to me, and was great with the other customers while I was there too! I should note: other staff that could have helped customers were sitting on the chairs visiting when they could have been helping customers.

Meh, not the best place to get anything spa related done. Go elsewhere and pay a bit more money, you will find everything is better. My sister got a pedicure done and gel nails, within an hour her pedicure was peeling off, the lady that did her gel nails kept telling my sister she couldn't do certain shapes and she didn't know how to do certain colors, it was a complete waste of money for my sister. We should have left as soon as the lady kept telling her what to get and what she could do, and it wasn't even what my sister wanted. All of the nails were shaped weird and all looked different. Wouldn't recommend.

The first time I went here, I spent $370 to do a full spectrum color. As an Asian, I am naturally a dark brunette. I was not surprised by the price, as I was going from dark to light (blonde) but the end result was NOT as I expected. It turned out to be a brassy YELLOW and they informed me to come back in 2-3 months to get it fixed. When I came back, my hair was STILL not the blonde I wanted. This time, it’s ended up as a brassy ORANGE. Each time I’ve gone, they’ve bleached my hair twice in the same session, and it is always over a 3 hour process. The first time was almost 5 hours! My appointment the second time was at 2: 00pm, and I arrived early. The hairdresser apologized to me and said that it would only take five more minutes to finish a man’s haircut, before she would take me to her chair. She came back twenty minutes later. As she was bleaching my hair, she left to go grab lunch at the 7-11 nearby. My scalp was burning and it felt as if my hair was being fryed while she was gone, but of course since she wasn’t there I couldn’t do anything about it. My hair is very long, up to my elbows. I could literally feel the bleach burn on my shoulders, and it was clear that I had the bleach in my hair for too long. After all of this, my hair is now extremely damaged, and I will be forced to cut it short in the future if I want to maintain it’s health. I will NEVER go here again, and I HATE this place for what they’ve put me through. AND I DIDN’T EVEN GET THE HAIR I WANTED!
