Super 8 by Wyndham Regina

Amazing hotel staff, my family and I were stuck in Regina for 2 days on Christmas eve due to car trouble. The night clerk when we checked in on Dec 23rd and the gentleman working the next morning were so helpful and amazing. They let us have a late checkout of 4 pm on Xmas eve since our vehicle still wasn't running. We didn't end up getting out of there until around 5: 30 to come all the way back home to Lloydminster, Alberta. I highly recommend this hotel solely on the amazing staff. The rooms were also very nice and well kept as well. But the staff is what amazed me, if I could give them a 10 star raring I would! Thank you so much

Excellent experience. When we first arrived at the hotel, the 3rd party company we booked through had sent the incorrect information to the hotel. Even though it was not the hotels fault, the front-end employee went above and beyond to help us. Her name was Patricia, she spoke to the manager and got our room upgraded to the original booking. They even contacted the 3rd party company for us. She definitely deserves a huge Christmas bonus! Thank you again, Patricia, for the fantastic job! You exceeded our expectations.

The rooms are very clean and excellent maintained. Beds are so comfortable. The breakfast has lots of if varieties. We loved the stay over there.

Our room was very reasonably priced and it was super clean and quiet. The bed was comfortable enough but I’m thinking it might be time to upgrade the mattresses (hence the 4 stars). The shower pressure was perfect and it was stocked with Dove shampoo, conditioner, body wash and body lotion. There are plenty of restaurant options in the general vicinity of the hotel. We would stay here again.

We stayed for 1 night on our cross Canada Road Trip. Check in was easy and efficient. The Check In Staff were especially kind and polite. The room was clean, well maintained, and stylish. We enjoyed a quick breakfast, and then continued our drive.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!
Booked through Expedia. Go to check in and they advise me because I live in this city they can not accept me as a customer. I told them my situation (leaving a relationship and have no where to go). THEY STILL REFUSED AND WOULD NOT GET A MANAGER.

Absolutely ridiculous… I couldn’t imagine if someone was fleeing a domestic violence relationship and was turned away like that having to go back to their abuser.

SHAME ON YOU SUPER 8 AND SHAME ON YOUR STAFF! If I’m paying you should not be able to turn me away because of the city I live in. AND THE HOTEL WASNT EVEN BUSY!

I was impressed by this location actually.
The beds were clean. Rooms are modernized enough.
24/7 service desk meant we were able to check in really late after our flight arrived late as well.
I booked online via third party and was able to let them know we’d be late.
The beds were super comfortable although I typically hate hotel pillows- too fluffy and large.
We didn’t partake in the continental breakfast though it was included.
The location is just on the edge of Regina which was great for where we were headed.
The parking situation is okay, though I imagine there are times where it’s full & it’s difficult to maneuver a large truck to find parking space.
My location rating of four stars is because of the interesting characters in the parking lot late at night, though not the hotels fault- leaves much to be desired.

Would stay here and recommend same. Price was absolutely standard and reasonable.

Quiet, clean and free breakfast. The front desk was very friendly and accommodating. The towels need a serious overhaul. They are thin, rough and gray when they should be white. One was so gray it looked dirty so I requested newer ones. Thy were a bit whiter but not much. They brought them right away and apologized. They need new towels. The free breakfast was adequate, omelets, waffle maker, sausages, toast etc. The omelets were wrapped tightly in plastic which was almost melted into the eggs and was a hassle to peel off. And they were sitting in a hot pan of hot water. The plastic was annoying. Overall the value was great for the stay.

It was not fun trying to get our roo. And when we did get it the room smelt so bad like a heavy smokers room and the beds were so small and uncomfortable never will stay there again

The room was okay for the money you paid for it. It was clean. My problem was the pillow and mattress which I found them uncomfortable. Also it included breakfast, it was simple but good.

It's a Super 8, but it's the BEST Super 8/motel I've ever stayed at. Staff was also very friendly and the breakfast was generous.

Staff was amazing, super friendly and helpful. Had some issues with the room and they took care of it right away! Would definitely stay here again.
One complaint is there’s only one luggage cart and some times people hog it in their rooms.

Bad breakfast. Poor condition (dirty) of buildings older section. Tub didn't work. Not horrible but not worth price.

Called for rate. Nim was the lady that answered. She was so helpful and she talked me into spending a bit more on the room. There is a older part and a newer part. Glad I listened to her. Room was very clean and two queen beds. No smell like the last room at comfort in. She also took time to show me where to park my truck and very long trailer. Even got to plug it in. Very friendly and happy. Thanks so much Nim. Now went down to have breakfast. Not the best but had bread, eggs cereal coffee. Wrapped breakfast sandwiches. But the bread police were on patrol. There was two slices of white bread one was end of loaf. I asked if there was more bread she informed me that I have to finish off the two pieces and said I don’t care about what u do at your home but u do as I say here. Anyways I saw the new loaf and opened it and put it in the toaster. She came back and was mad. Wow. Checked out and the front desk lady was happy and helpful. I had washed the truck yesterday and when I started it this mourning I locked the doors and when I came out the lock was frozen but she had a hairdryer and I got it open. Thanks

This motel is conveniently located off Victoria Avenue and is near a variety of shopping and dining options. The rooms are clean and the property is quiet. Additionally, the room prices offer good value.

We stayed here for one night when traveling from MB to Lloydminster. The stay was excellent, the room was clean which is always a big plus for me. The had a good variety of breakfast. The staff was friendly and helpful

First time staying at this hotel. The front desk person was awesome when we checked in. Assisted us with finding parking spot where we could plug in vehicle, and brought out a luggage wheeler.
I would of given room 5 star but bed was a bit too firm.
Good continental breakfast.
Will definitely book here again.

Multiple of problems with this place, room service with clean up left beds in made, first day. Did not refill coffee and amenities tray, no cups, no laundry bag, 2nd day. Who knows what will happen on 3rd, wait to read another review after the day is done. 3rd day, certain breakfast items were ice cold, staff recognized the problem and stated the regular staff person for breakfast is off duty, and substitutes was delayed in warming the food items, 4th day, other food items were cold, but staff made an effort to warn up via microwave and offered guests the warm food item and served to the guests table, which was adequate service and good corrective measures.

Excellent room, friendly staff, incredibly good value for the dollar. Will definitely stay there again.

The staff here are exceptional! The hotel is very clean, comfortable and in a great location. This place is very well run and will be our companies first choice during our Regina stays.

Putting the smoking area just outside the main entrance, means those people that some at night are disturbing the guest rooms just above the entrance. Woke me 3 times between 1 and 2 AM with their talking.

Stayed in Calgary for a week with no issue, came here for a night (11pm-6am) and the lady at the front desk that was there before 11pm wouldn't let my family sleep there for a couple hours so we could hit the road again next morning, because I didn't have a pic of my brothers license because I was using his visa, came back after shift change and a different lady accepted my family with no problem. I really don't recommend staying here, won't be coming back here again. Need better management skills at the front desk.

The room was stellar, clean and very visually pleasing. Slept like a log on the comfortable double.

The free breakfast could be better, although I understand the scaling back of resources. The hardboiled egg tasted at least a day old and left a chalky texture in my mouth. The omelet was pretty good despite having to be microwaved.

But I went here to sleep and that experience was very nice.

I had great and clean room.
The only thing that I really didn't like is an internet, really slow and bad. This is actually the first hotel in my experience where I encountered in such a "problem", hotel is not in rural area or somewhere in the middle of nowhere and you can blame on such a problem, hotel is in a city, so. But overall if you don't need fast internet, this is not a bad hotel.

We arrived on May 22 evening, the guy in the front desk has a bad attitude and was unpleasant.the room was dirty, towels and sheets were dirty, the bathroom was disgusting,

I've been staying here for years and it used to be great for the price, now over the years, the breakfast has gone swiftly downhill, no options for anything even remotely healthy, pre-packaged muffins and Texas toast basically, and breakfast sandwiches if they're lucky enough to even have them. The rooms are falling into disrepair and they clean them once a week, the hallways are always dirty, the back door where people smoke looks like it hasn't been cleaned in years. It seems like they cut staffing and budget during Covid and decided not to hire anyone back when things started to pick up. The only reason it gets 2 stars is because of the location being convenient

I have stayed there before with no issues. This time I was quite disappointed. The curtains were quite stained and looked very dirty. The bathroom stopper would not work in the tub. Couldn't have a bath. Tried having a shower and there was barely any pressure and we could not get the water to warm up. Lukewarm at best. The shower curtain was all ripped and frayed. Wanted to have breakfast and there was not one item I could eat. Usually they have something that is gluten free for celiacs. But not today.

Great management. Best value for amount I paid. Good deal in town for what I paid, but this is not always the case! They keep changing as all hotels do!
But by far, it's greatly managed motel. Love it.

Cons: The room was very small, smelled strongly of cleaning products. The TV was pathetic. The beds were uncomfortable, the sheets were uncomfortable. There are no amenities, no vending machines, no water cooler. The property and area is gross. The rooms were very stuffy even with ac and a window open.

Pros: They do set stuff out for breakfast. Nutrigrain bars, yogurt, juice boxes, eggs.
They allow cats. The room was very cheap. The location is good for leaving the city quickly.

The hotel is nice its clean and friendy. But the room as.for a suite its more like a room with add ons small

Room had a very strong wet smell that was present the entire stay and the in room wifi is terrible. Couldn’t connect and when we were able to, it wasn’t constant and kept buffering. Staff was friendly, but the rooms could be refreshed. Outdated but aside from the awful smell was basically comfortable

This is the old dried out used condom we found In our room last night. Looks like it's been there for a very long time. DISGUSTING! We moved rooms but was given no discount for the inconvenience or experience. Won't be recommending this place to anyone

I am confused as to the good reviews, but my personal experience was not a good one. We were on a quick look for a stop in Regina, we didn't want to spend too much money as it was late and all we needed was a fast crash. The initial contact we had with Cydelle was unpleasant. She was not kind and answered everything as if she were bothered. Not a good welcoming. The room felt dirty and cheap and the towels that should of been white were almost gray in color (quite gross). Not to mentioned the dirty bathtub and curtains. Also the pictures are deceiving as the room looked way nicer in pictures. Overall I would not recommend this place to anyone.

My room was humid and had weird bad smell! And the most important part that I didn't have internet inside of my room so I spend hours in the lobby with my laptop because I had too much work to do. Front desk just told me that they are sorry!
Never come back there and don't recommend this place to anyone.

Booked for 2 weeks after 1 week key would not work. Went to front desk where I was told that sorry they over booked and we would need to get our things and leave. Worst costumer service I have ever had in 10 years of working on the road.
