Super 8 by Wyndham Swift Current

I was charged for a room I did not book. Dealing with the Manger lore has been one of the worst customer service experiences I have had. They claimed they refunded me for the extra night when in reality they put it through as an additional charge.

I stayed here for a couple days for work. No one came in and cleaned our rooms. The room had a gross smell. One our second night a couple co workers found bites on them and another said he found bed bugs in his room.

Close to the Trans Canada Highway and places to eat. It was a good thing there were local eateries within walking distance as the breakfast was non existent and the coffee provided to us was cold. If you’re looking for a place to sleep, it works.

The rooms are always clean and up to par for the price range. On this particular visit, Mike provided commendable service, helping us deal with a difficult patron. His professional demeanour and smile definitely made this a five star stay.

A comfortable bed is the most important factor when rating a hotel room and this place had that. The bed was very comfortable. However, the carpet was very old, damaged and discolored (it looked dirty). The whole place was pretty tired and bordering on shabby. Yhe lock on the door was stuck and we had to go back to the front desk to elicit help to get into our room. The key worked only intermittently and the 6 inches of snow on the sidewalk was not shoveled. The breakfast was terrible. Cold cereal, yogurt, and sub standard cello-wrapped muffins. The coffee was good but weak. We were told we were "not allowed" in the breakfast room because it was reserved for CP employees only. We will definitely try a different place on our next trip through Swift Current.

Old and run down. The pool wasn't open, and that is what was emphasized on the website and why we picked this place.

There was a used Christmas napkin on the floor. The sidewalk to our room was snow-covered. When I went up in the morning to get coffee in my travel mug I got less than half a cup. When i tried the other carafe, it was empty. There were 3 people sitting and visiting in the lobby and at least one was a staff member. When I got back to my room, the little bit of coffee I did get was cold. I will never stay here again.

Must have been worst hotel or motel I have been at ever.

Free breakfast was dry stuff on a foldable table in the hallway. If you wanted to eat you had to take it to your room.

Speaking of rooms; it was clean, but antiquated, the keys never worked on the entrance doors and assistance was required.

The floors creaked when walked upon and you heard the entire conversation from the next room, where the guy was on his phone.

There is a swimming pool, but it has been closed for maintenance for three (3) years. Supposedly, they need a safety permit, or something similar.

The CPR has taken over the old breakfast room and no one can enter thete, thus meal in the hall, etc.etc.etc.

Good place to stay while you are on the highway. Definitely worth the money and I got a good sleep. Just the rooms are not sound proof. You might hear everything happening in the hallway.

Rooms had hair everywhere, beds, bathroom. The breakfast is a joke, as it's just a table. The front desk lady when checking in was rude and not helpful, she should find a new job. And let's be honest, the pool and hot tub will never be open. I will never stay there again. Room 119 is haunted.

Beds were nice. Slightly updated rooms, but a bad breakfast. Can’t use breakfast room, it’s over hauled to to a work room some rail company.
No pool, still closed.

Staff was incredibly rude upon arrival at 8pm. Had to get key redone at 12: 30 am as well which is fine but the desk clerk was very rude (a different one). Room was ok but really run down and musty. Breakfast was a joke and I went out to eat each morning. Was not as advertised. I have stayed before the railroad contract and it seems to have gone downhill fast. Will spend 20 dollars more and stay at the holiday inn from now on.
