Temple Gardens Hotel & Spa

It's been a few years since I've last been here, but it's seriously gone downhill. The parking metre was broken, the elevator was out of service, the vents were filthy - dust bunnies hanging off the walls, the change rooms/washrooms were rusty, dirty and in ill-repair. Parts of the walls inside and out were broken. The water itself was nice, but overall I was disappointed.

Everything was clean, great location, loved the skywalk. We will go back for sure, this time for 2 nights. We didn't try the restaurant or the pool since we had our own Jacuzzi tub, but we did visit the spa. It was fantastic!

Highly recommend book the room early, especially during holiday time.
Very good experience if you buy the package, it include 4 tickets for tunnels and $20 casino credit for 2 people.
The mineral pool is good for relax at night, and the outdoor hot spring is very special experience in cold winter (although too many people in the outside pool lol).
The parking is not free since it charged us at the invoice, but we are not told during the check in process.
The room is clean and nice, good for stay.
If you wanna stay in water, maybe jacuzzi room is a good option.

This hotel is absolutely run down dirty beat up rooms, disgusting elevators, the spa looks beat…it’s too bad this place used to be amazing. No curtains so you are up first thing in the morning. Food was bad, and the service in hardwoods cafe is terrible doesn’t bring water had to ask for pancake syrup. The front desk people are terrible at communicating anything all and all obvious they have new owners that are trying to milk every last dollar outta you…. I’ll never stay in this dump again

We came here as family for a getaway! Our girls loved their time in the spa - and had kind and caring staff. My massage was so very relaxing. Rooms were clean & safe. The mineral pool was something we used a few times a day. Thank you!

The room we stayed in was very dated for what I paid. It was clean, which is always great. For a 2 night stay in a mineral pool room, I paid around $600. I felt pretty let down when I got into the room. The sofa was broken, and all of the furniture had some sort of damage.

The customer service was very good, and we had a good time at the spa.

The spa is lovely, the pool devine.the rest? The hotel is old and does not, in my opinion deserve a 3 star rating. Very old.furniture is old and worn. The bathroom was not pleasant. The window had a grungy, broken metal venitian blind. The beds were clean and adequately comfortable. Next time? We would seek separate accommodation and pay to access the pool. This place needs a refurbish.sersiously.for the nightly room price of $230.

A nice change from travelling. The mineral water did me a lot of good on my shoulder. For everyone who likes to have very true water. Unfortunately it was so hot when showering that I almost burned my head. (There is no cold water in the shower. The price was very cheap.

Nice place to stay when in Moose Jaw. Clean rooms and close to downtown. Lots of parking and easy access to Casino and spa. Friendly and helpful staff. Would rate higher but I have been to nicer hotels for less cost. I would recommend this hotel to folks.

The pool was rather enjoyable, but the ac unit in our room would just run and run and rattle all night. Told reception, didn't seem like they cared much.

In regards to the staff, spa and mineral pool I have no complaints. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and my massage therapist Ashley was awesome. However, when it comes to the state of the hotel rooms my friends and I were very disappointed and upset.
For the price that we paid to stay there the rooms should have been immaculate but instead the room had a funny smell, outdated and damages everywhere. The lobby was nice but the rooms need some repairs and updates. Definitely not worth the price you pay to stay there.

Rooms are decent, nothing special but clean and decently maintained. The pool is nice and it's open long hours late into the night which is great. Skip the hotel restaurant, there's some great food options downtown which are only a few steps from the hotel. Location is excellent, close enough to walk almost everywhere.

One of the better hotels in Moose Jaw but it's in need of better maintenance and some freshening up of paint ànd fixtures etc. The shade of green on the trim is a bit off, and it's badly chipped in high traffic areas. The pool was out of service so that was disappointing but a decent discount was offered to compensate. The location is excellent. The beds are comfortable, and the a/c worked well.

We were a bit early, had to wait for our rooms. But, no worries, we could go to the pool. The room was nice a clean, our only issue was a rattle in the air conditioning. Thank God for ear plugs.

Overall it was a great stay. Room was a little dated, however it did look like they updated the bathroom. Food at the pool cafe was good. Lots of parking across the street on the second level, $5 extra to park so you don’t get a ticket.

The pool is heated, like a massive hot tub. At first it was a little busy and felt like human soup. My kids didn’t like it as they like to splash and jump in they were told a few times not to jump in, most of the patrons were there to soak.
The flags were cool, expect they felt smushed together, I would recommend you put them around the edge of the walls so you can see all of them. Loved the cooling rags they give out.

My last suggestion would be to put a parking sign out on the street that says hotel parking this way.

There was a whole head of hair shaved off and thrown right outside on the balcony of our suite! It was disgusting and smelled moldy. I do not recommend staying here if you come to Moose Jaw!

Overall, a pleasurable place to stay.

The hotel itself needs to do a better job with signage; finding things was confusing.

The location is great for exploring Moose Jaw. That's a sentence that I never thought I'd say, but once you're here, you'll see that there is indeed plenty to discover!

The mineral pool was excellent. Very accessible and relaxing.

Our massages at the spa were also excellent.

Parking was nice and cheap; not like higher end places that charge up to 20 bucks a day.

My wife and I would certainly come back.

First the positives - the staff were all very friendly, check in was quick despite there being a rush at 4 pm as that's when the rooms become available. We ate at Harwood's restaurant and the friendly staff was also present there along with great food. However. The hotel itself is showing a general lack of maintenance/upkeep. We noticed stained carpets in stairwells, and overall wear in many areas. In fact our room (An anniversary suite) exhibited a fair amount of issues that should be addressed. One would think that when Covid interfered with customer traffic that they'd have taken the opportunity to assign staff/contractors to specific areas (Within SHA guidelines of course - no need to risk people's health) to address these repairs so when things returned to usual the hotel would be in fantastic shape. Unfortunately, the state of repair will cause us to look elsewhere in the future. For the cost of the rooms, we can likely get a better overall experience at another venue. Unfortunate when this was at one time the best place to stay in Moose Jaw.

I paid 300 for a celebration suite for my wedding night and the blinds were literally tied together. The carpets were disgusting. But, I am lucky, as all the wedding guests i had stay at the hotel got it far worse than us. The beds were too short for an average sized man, blow dryers didn't work, air conditioners didn't work, no vanity just a single pedestal sink and so terribly loud no one got any sleep. The hallways are in disrepair. For the price, a road side truck stop would have been a better choice. No security checking on the hotel during the night, as I had to call the cops on an unsafe person on my wedding morning. The staff was responsive to our requests. But the hotel over all is not a 4 star, it is a 1 star AT BEST.

We had a great relaxing experience in the prairies! Highly recommended to anyone! Reasonably priced and great location! Everything we needed was within walking distance to experience downtown Moose Jaw!

The pool was great, we had wonderful service from the front desk. We especially enjoyed learning the flags on the ceiling. We also enjoyed the steam room, although it had a little more traffic than we would have liked.

One star was deducted because the room was a bit dated and the bathroom shower felt like how I imagine a prison shower would be. The bed was extremely comfortable though.

I would have liked to see more people wearing facemasks as we enter the 4th wave of this pandemic.

We will return!

Although temple gardens is in definite need of renovations I'm basing my 5 stars on the employees. They are ultimately what made my stay so nice. In particular a shout out to Jade Grant and Kim Barr.

The hotel isn't anything special, a little pricey for what you get. The mineral pool is fantastic and makes up for the room

From the outside the hotel was underwhelming. Once I stepped into the lobby my hopes went up. I checked in and proceeded to the parkade across the street and up to the room. One of the elevators was out of order so the wait was a bit long. The door to the room was a little stuck and needed a good push to open. The room seemed sad and run down. I've stayed in many hotels, motels, airbnbs, and hostels. This was not the room I saw on the website. The price I paid for the room was, what I thought to be, more than double the value. I didn't stay. Very disappointing

Just stayed here for 2 nights for my honeymoon. I'm always a big fan of the pool but the hotel room wasn't that great. The towels are rough and have a weird texture. So do the robes. The water pressure isn't great either. In my opinion, it's not worth what they charge for the rooms.

Rooms are a tiny bit outdated and old no USB ports things like that if you're picky about that. But it's a clean place and the real reason why you're there is to enjoy that spa and the mineral pool, with is amazing

For the price of there suites it’s far from worth it everything run down and falling apart very disappointing plus the pool was leaking and out of service due to being run down the whole place is just going down the drain super outdated rooms and just Over all not worth it we were in a “luxury suite” was far from it if you go stay at a better hotel and just go to the pool if it’s even open also was not notified the pool was broken so that was nice

Good stay. We had booked early but got a call that the pool was closed for maintenance. They gave us a better rate and upgraded us to a suite with a jacuzzi tub for two. Water came from the spring for tub. All in all a great stay. Great location close to local eats and shopping.parking was included.

Went to Moose Jaw for a weekend getaway and spent one night at Temple Gardens in a Spa Suite. The positive is the giant hot pool and the clean room with keurig coffee maker, nice toiletries and robes. The Negatives - what is going on with the wrinkled pool liner? - its almost dangerous to walk on, the water comes out of the jacuzzi tub brown which is off putting, the room is dated, furniture is scuffed, lots of marks on walls and ceiling, windows are so foggy we couldn't see out of them, blinds do not keep out the morning sun, window ac constantly cuts on/off which leads to a very unrestful sleep, the gift shop was closed with no sign saying why, the 1 elevator is extremely slow so we gave up and took the stairs. The hotel needs some room and pool upgrades!

It's a warm dreamy pool that soaks your stresses away. We were able to pop in for an hour soak at an affordable price before a long drive home. Loved the flags. It's so light and smells of the minerals and salts in the water. A great place for both family's and adults.

We make a trip to Moose Jaw just to stay at this spa and hotel. The pool is great and the spa is wonderful. The staff are friendly, the rooms are clean and comfortable. They offer dog friendly rooms for a fee of $35.

We tried to booked a room we were on the phone with the hotel, when we got transfered to a booking agent through Expedia and told them we want to book a room at the spa in moosejaw we are in regona. The room cost was 223.00 with tax when we got our visa bill it was 343.00 the charged us 54.00 booking fee and it was in us funds. After talking with them, they failed to correct the mistake. We are very discouraged about booking with the hotel again they just passed us off to a agent. Ended up paying more then the room was worth
