I made a number of purchases from the brick, but when I purchased chairs from them I also purchased a 5 yr warranty and was told if I didn't use the warranty I would be given a credit at the end of the warranty, now the warranty is up and the are not honoring the offer. I would not have known about this had I not been told about the offer. I made over 10k in purchases of merchandise from the brick and this warranty was for chairs that cost over $1500 and the amount of the warranty would have been $229. They tell me this offer wasn't offered 10 mths after I purchased, how would I have even known about this? What a rip off NEVER SHOPPING THERE AGAIN!

The things they sell are perfectly fine. The customer service experience here, however, is awful. If you buy anything here, just hope that you never need to get anything looked after on warranty, unless you don't mind the constant excuses, ignorance, and being brushed off you'll experience by the management. Stay away from this place, go to any other Brick store if you must purchase from Brick.

Oh, and here's a fun little extra. I witnessed firsthand someone come to the store and inquire about a television they wanted to purchase. They were told that that television is not available because of a "1 day VIP sale" (which was a lie, the television in question was on sale for 3 days according to the flyer), but they offered to order a completely different tv at the wrong price point that the person did not even want. Pay upfront, get it in two weeks "maybe", which based on my experiences with this place, likely means never.

Just stay away.

Ashok was phenomenal to deal with. He did not try to upsell. He listen to what I wanted and showed me exactly that. In one instance he provided me with an option even more reasonably priced than what I was looking at. I would highly recommend the North Battleford Brick to anyone looking for great furniture and appliances at a great price. I will definitely come back in the future.

Very terrible customer service and warranty. We called them about 30-50 times over a span of 3 months before they did anything about our couch warranty. Only 10 or so of those times did they actually pick up the phone. It's actually quite impressive how little they care. After about 4 months later they finally badly "repaired our couch. " This is not to say the brick as a company is bad. The brick in saskatoon was wonderful to deal with, and was actually the only reason the brick here did anything at all. I do not recommend buying here at all. Drive to saskatoon or go somewhere else in town.

I will never buy anything from this store ever again. Bought a fridge from them and found out it was missing a few parts when I called to ask about it the first thing he said was “it’s not my problem”. DONT GO HERE

I will never ever buy from this place again I’ve been waiting 3 months for my bed frame and still have not received it. The owners do not notify their customers of any delays I am the one who has to call and each time it got delayed. I am currently still waiting on the bed frame and the owners are not answering my calls! I spent over 2,000 dollars there and this is the type of customer service they give! Not happy and not impressed if this is the type of people the brick like to represent them that says it all. Really hope the store answers my calls and I receive my bed frame! And the last time I called last week they had no idea when or where I was going to get my bed frame! They said they would call me on Wednesday or Thursday well it’s now Friday and they are ignoring my calls!

After purchasing a mattress from The Brick we have had to make a warranty claim through them and it has been nothing short of a nightmare to deal with. The management is never around, at least according to the staff, to follow up with the claim even after filling out the forms online and being told to contact the manufacturer despite the warranty being with the Brick itself. The staff have been ignorant, unhelpful, and it seems that the owners are unwilling to stand by their products or follow through with warranty through their franchise. Save yourself the headache and buy from somewhere else.

Edit: Called corporate to try to get to the bottom of it and were told that we had to contact the manufacturer to check on the claim. Phoned the manufacturer and they had no evidence of a claim. Against better judgement my wife had decided to order a new mattress through the Brick because we already had the matching box spring and it would be cheaper than buying an entirely new set from somewhere else. We received a call notice that it was in and we thought "Wow. That was quick. " and decided to wait until the weekend to pick it up. She phoned in this morning to make sure it was actually there and the staff confirmed. We drove out to pick it up and were told they would load it in a few minutes. After roughly 5 minutes we were told they did not have it and that it would be another two weeks. Why in the world would you "confirm" to have something that was ordered 3 times if that was not the case? Seriously folks, learn from my mistakes. Take your business somewhere respectable that values their customers.

The prices are absurd for the quality of product they sell and there is little to no customer service in this place. Went in for a bed frame, we were the only people in the store and the man called to us from the counter asking what we were looking for. This was after we already finished touring their 2 isles of bedframes. We called back "bedframes", he says "oh, ok" and goes back to whatever he was doing before. We just laughed and walked out.

I called about an appliance that was on sale. They did not have it In stock. Customer service over the phone was horrible and I could not understand the lady. Very bad English. Certainly do not recommend

The woman who answered the phone was extremely rude, did not speak English well and was very unhelpful. When I asked to speak with the store manager, she told me to phone back. Very obvious they did not want my business. I was going to drive 4 hours to make a purchase. I refuse to deal with this kind of inconsiderate rudeness.

Hi my name is Shine I had a bad experience with one of your brick store. I just walked out off of the brick store feeling ashamed of myself being a brick customer. I went to north Battleford brick store in Saskatchewan yesterday and enquired about washer and dryer and a refrigerator. As it was about to close I have told that I’m going to come back next day (I’m living living 200 km away from brick store). Next day (today) I called him and said I see the prices in the flyer are little cheaper than the quote he gave me. Then he told me to come down to the store to discuss further.i went to the store and he said he don’t have the items in stock (yesterday he said he can give me whatever I wanted) This morning there is no stock. I was surprised. Then I told him I will come back again in sometime later today. So I went went back to the store again and ready to purchase washer and dryer and refrigerator for the flyer price, I also asked him for financing options. Then he said he can’t do the flyer price and he said he is going to give me a better Samsung dryer as he don’t have the matching dryer.then he gave me a dryer #. When i checked online it was the same washer and dryer set posted in your flyer for 1548. (flyer says plus 100 off of the set.so it should come to 1448). When I questioned he (looks like he is store manager) said don’t look at the flyer he can only give me that set for 1558 and plus price of the refrigerator and plus tax. Then he said take it only if I can pay his price not the flyer price.so I said I don’t want it then and walked away. So I’m wondering why brick is making flyer if you guys don’t want to give flyer price to the customer. This is really bad and bad attitude of the manager. I have been a brick customer since last 6 years.and I’m not going to go to the brick anymore.

I changed to 3 stars upon reflection.
The 7 week wait for a washer, which was a week and some past the initial quoted time, was a big contributor.
I also felt to some degree the way my calls to check up on the status was not handled great, not horrible, but not great.
When I called the last time to check, if the washer had not been in I would have been demanding my money back, simply because I needed a washer right away.
The staff were very helpful in getting the washer into my truck and expressed concern that I might not have a trolley, so that was great service.

We used to go there when my wife was alive and the owner is East Indies or Pakistan and very ignorant towards women he won't even speak to them unless there's a guy there they've had trouble with him in the past my wife actually reported him to Leon's when they took over good quality Furniture but ignorant people and that's all I'm just a God's true I wouldn't step in the door anymore
