The Canadian Brewhouse (Regina Grasslands)

Food tasted great but the portion sizes were awful. They charged for a pop refill which I thought was quite cheesy since all the alcohol sold there can easily cover the cost of a fountain drink refill. Service was pretty good so no complaints in that department.

Sarah was the best server that we had tonight we started at blancos and tim was very rude I'm glad that we went here

Lots of fresh produce, individual meals, great bakery.
Always very clean and well organized. During covid they managed the best imo

Katelyn was super friendly and helpful.and I've never met a manager as outgoing, attentive and friendly as Aiden was. Amazing staff, great food!

What can I say that hasn’t already been said about this place! Great atmosphere, good people, and tons of options for food and drink. The GM Don has embraced that place as his home. They even provided my school staff with a free pizza lunch. If this place isn’t on your list of options your list sucks.

Went into the brewhouse tonight and had the time of my life! The bar staff was on point with tons of liquor knowledge. I'd move into this place if they'd let me.
The staff looked to be having a great time while delivering exceptional service. Wish there was more places like this one!

Amazing experience. The service was great, they were very patient with me and I couldn’t ask for more. It was really nice when the manager came by to make sure we were all having a good time.

I love this place! And the food is amazing. Parmesan wings never miss. However, the last time I was in it the music was sooo loud in there. Literally had to shout at my partner to hear eachother

Terrible service, dirty table and 0/10 food. Normally this place is really good, but this last visit was so disappointing.

Always hit or miss going here, food and service is either great or horrible, very inconsistent. Have had both bad and good experiences here.

Went to Brewhouse from out of town last week for my boyfriends birthday. Our server Amanda was awesome, the food was phenomenal, drinks went down easy, it was a great night! We will be coming back

It was a 2 star experience. We drove three hours out of our way because we love the restaurant. We didn’t realize there was more than one location so we ended up at a new one (grasslands opposed to the one in the east)

Anyway, we got there and were excited to try the different location.it was not a good experience. I would never suggest anyone goes to that location. Avoid at all costs. Unless you’re going for beers on the patio, which is a great atmosphere. Maybe the cook staff and serving staff was just weak on a Friday night but for some reason I can’t see that being the case.

From the first encounter with our waitress through to the end it was an absolutely terrible experience. We waited a bit before she came over so we had already reviewed the full menu and knew our full orders. When she approached we told her our drink order and she immediately left. Like no banter; no “would you like a starter” (which we did) she just mid conversation did a 180 and walked away.

Anyway, that’s fine. She eventually brought over the two beers so we did get her back. We said we were ready to order and ordered the steak bites (an app) to start and she ran away again mid conversation before we had the chance to order food. You’d maybe think “maybe she just wanted you to order more drinks while sitting there before paying the bill? ” Maybe? Something like that? Well no.

Finally we got her attention and had the chance to order food, she didn’t let us finish ordering. Like my friend said “no mushrooms” on the same team burger. He got about to mushr.before she was off again.

Anyway, we exchanged the weird looks and went about our time watching the hockey game. Eventually the food came out.at that time I ordered another beer and asked where the app that we ordered 10 minutes before the food was? The kind bus person didn’t know.

I then had to wave someone down to order cutlery for my steak and ketchup for my friends burger. The second beer - it came 20 minutes later after I had finished my meal. They also brought a beer for my friend - he didn’t order a second one. My steak and potatoes were cold. It wasn’t a cheap meal. Yes the steak looked like it sat under a light to dry out: vile feels like too harsh of a word but I did leave more than half on the plate, which is not something I do. Let’s go with vile, if not only to describe the entire picture.

My friends burger had pickles and tomatoes on it, she was rude when he brought it up and said he didn’t request for them to be left off. Pickles and tomatoes both weren’t listed on the menu. He hates pickles and is allergic to tomatoes.

Not one stop in to ask how the meal was.we waved her down to get the cheque. What a waste of money. I should have been paid for that experience.

Two stars only because I don’t hate the chain and want the review to be taken seriously. I don’t give bad reviews. This was just such a god awful experience and I didn’t feel like I was given an outlet to express that. No “how was the meal” or “how was your experience” or “how are you tonight? ” I was looking for an opportunity like that where I could give constructive criticism. There were no opportunities given.

Anyway; no I’ll wishes. Just wanted to let you all to know to proceed with caution. I read reviews before choosing a restaurant and I’d want to know about an experience like this.

Hi, My family was at the Grass land location this evening celebrating our Anniversary. Our server Sarah took very good care of us she was upbeat friendly very attentive and over all a great asset to your restaurant. We are certainly coming back soon. Very unprofessional place. My ex girlfriend from high school works as a server here and last night when I came in with a group of friends I was denied a table because apparently “she doesn’t feel comfortable” when I’m there, even though we’ve been here a handful of times before. We’ve been usually hitting up Brewhouse every weekend since it’s like the only best bar in Regina and there’s really nothing else to do here hence covid. We definitely won’t be back anytime soon until this is dealt with. I felt very very attacked not only by my ex that works there, but also the one lady in red that spoke with me. I WOULD LIKE for the owner to get in touch with me ASAP.

I have been to brewhouse plenty of times, never got asked for ID. Either ask it every time or just don't. The new staff could certainly learn a thing or two about customer service. Won't be returning.

My friends and I had a great time at Brewhouse last night! So nice to be out. We had fantastic service from our server Sydney. She was super friendly and had great food and drink recommendations. We tried the unsungs they were awesome! We'll be back soon.

First time coming here, came with co workers and treated amazing. Sarah explained she was fairly new but zero complaints, had she not told us, we would not have known. Great service. Great food. Recommend this location for sure! (Kids welcome until 8: 00pm had no idea)

As much as I want to love this place for their trivia and $6 wing night, I cannot justify the service.

We have made two trips so far. Both times the food and drinks were really good. Please let your cooks know that they are amazing!

As far as initial service goes, we have yet to meet a waitress/waiter that has exceeded (or even meets) expectations. The other night the lady taking our order interrupted us and made a rude comment when asking a guest in my party to wait a moment. She seemed miserable to be working the trivia night. We did not see her again until it was time to take the bill, and that’s when she chose to make conversation and take interest in the table entirely.

Overall, I may think the service is poor because we choose to go on wing night and the restaurant is generally packed and loud. I do have some leniency in regards to the high-volume of people they get in just one evening, hence why the waitresses we have had only visit us when it’s time to order, deliver drinks/food, and to delivery the bill.

I would definitely love this location a lot more if the waitresses were more friendly and provided more prompt service. Although whom I believe is a new manager (he mentioned it was his first day), was beyond amazing. He came and explained to our table why we were unable to do trivia on the patio. He was prompt and delightful and in the few minutes we had spoken to him, he delivered MUCH better service than the 2 waitresses we had at our table that evening. I apologize for the long rant. I’m giving this location one more shot before we completely stop attempting to love this place.

Went intending to have a delicious steak only to find out they only do steaks on Friday & Saturday. The food we did end up ordering was very "meh"
Will not return.

Stopped by the Grasslands location last night and it was busy! Although it was busy, our server Sable (I think that was her name) was AWESOME. She took care of us right away and we enjoyed the rest of the hockey game with a couple of frosty beers! Thanks Brewhouse for a good night! We will be back soon.

Aidan and Justin are by far the best bartenders. So accommodating and caring. Love these guys. They take the best care make sure your nothing but satisfied! 10/10 would recommend.

Always a great time here. Food and service excellent as always. This was a great way to start my 4 day weekend.

Worth what I paid but expectations were high. Had a steak dinner about a week ago. The sides were good but I would have trimmed off a lot of the meat I was served. Well prepared and the server was friendly. Good atmosphere.

Never been before today. Love the layout, if there were more sports to watch. Hubby ordered a steak sandwich, which turns out, wasn't a sandwich. Should have read the menu on my phone better. Won't be back too soon.

If you are person who would expect to be treated with respect and basic customer service, please avoid this place.

I called them to reserve a table on my anniversary at 7: 56 PM on a Wednesday and asked if the place is too busy. They said they can get me a table in 15 minutes but I have to come down to their place (no reservations can be done on phone). So, we decided to go and wait. Reached there and we were put on waiting list (2 people) at 8: 42 PM (Please find attached) and the lady (who was okay at this time) at the reception said it would take 40 minutes. We waited in our car for 34 minutes and went inside at 9: 16 PM. The same lady finally said no one is getting out (which is not true as we have seen many people leaving while we are waiting in the car) and can't get us table. We felt disappointed after waiting for 35 minutes and decided to wait in the car for some more time before leaving place.

After a few minutes, I called them again and ended up finding my name is not on the wait list. When I asked for a reason, they said if I come inside they can get me a table in 10 mins. We went inside and the same lady is very arrogant and mean to us. She asked for my name and shouted "SPELL" very loudly at me. I was upset and left the place.

They screwed my mood and anniversary dinner. My wife was upset too. Luckily, she did not come inside. I just told my wife that it's still busy and we left to our home.

My problem is not the wait time. I understand it gets busy sometimes especially on Wed evenings and the occupancy is less with the COVID restrictions. But, the response that I received from both the manager and the arrogant lady at the reception was very absurd. I asked for their manager, he came and not sure if he had a clue on what happened. He did not even allow me to explain him what happened. He just said he knows what happened and said sorry very irresponsibly,

I think they should deal their customers with a better service.

Note: I usually go the Canadian Brewhouse in the Eastgate, but they are not allowing dine-in today as there was some flooding in the restaurant (pipes broken). I live in South East Regina and went all the way to this south location and had a bitter experience.

One of my favourite restaurants to visit. Service is pretty good. They always have great staff and show all the sports games that I am looking for.

Took my girlfriend out to eat at the grassland brewhouse location for lunch.
Had good service but I instantly started to feel sick after we left today. And so did my girlfriend, my girlfriend had to leave work because of how she was feeling. Pretty sure it was food poisoning.

Great service, waitress was on top of her work and was friendly.food was good and reasonably priced

If you are looking for pub type food, then this place has the food! It was very tasty and the service was great! Everything was brought to us in a very timely manner.

Have had good experiences for dining but had the worst incident when I called to order over the phone. I was asked by a gentleman to wait while he completed whatever he was doing then suddenly the phone hung up. I called back, he picked up and I informed him of what took place and he acknowledged and apologized. You would think that after waiting for him on the phone and then having to callback, he would have the patience to wait for me to place my order. I commenced ordering, then asked him about two items on the menu. The guy proceeded to tell me that the restaurant is busy and I will need to hang up and call back when I have made up my mind. I didnt know that when a customer calls in to make an order, it is seen as less priority than being physically at the restaurant. I have always asked about new items on the menu whenever I am ordering. Isn't that the reason for dining? Well Canadian brewhouse just lost a family of diners and left a bad taste in my mouth, based on that experience.

A get together with co-workers was why I was at GCBH. It was an awesome
experience. The service was exceptional, waitress was awesome and very attentive to all of our needs. Best food ever! Highly recommend going

Good location and decent parking. Tends to be a little loud for my tastes but there is often sports being played. Very helpful with reservations, friendly staff. Will definitely return!

Awesome place friendly staff even your just there to eat and have a coffee feeling old watching people drink there faces off to much fun

Ordered lunch through skip the dishes with some co workers and had two drivers accept the order then cancel. So we waited and waited and nothing. We contacted Skip numerous times, and they did nothing as well. We called the Brewhouse to see if they even had our order and they had already had it cooked and waiting for someone to pick it up and deliver. No one did.
Brewhouse then re cooked our meals because they had a driver from skip on the way to pick up and they cancelled last minute.
They called to let us know what had happened and they sent their bartender to deliver our food, when they didn't even have too. GREAT job Canadian Brewhouse you guys are amazing!

We really enjoyed our meals along with a couple of frosty beers. Everything was well prepared and tasted great. Had a cheery server to round off a nice night. I will say the parking is a bit wonky to get in to but it was definitely worth it.

Food was good.atmosphere so loud! Couldn't hear the people across the table ; building obviously not well laid out for sound.could turn down the music as they have tons of people on there talking.or yelling above it.haven't been back.thought they would have fixed it as I see another review on here about how loud it was in there.not a place you can go for supper and chat.

The food was great! Service was prompt friendly and prices reasonable.

I'm just not a big fan of large echoey, sports bars with the game and commercials cranked on loud speakers, barely could hear people at your tables. But looked like some were enjoying the vibe. Different strokes fur different folks I guess.

Food looked amazing, unfortunately the food was not hot but warm. Flys or gnats seem to be every where. They keep it dark so it hard to see them but as they got close to the food I was constantly waving my hand to shoo them away. The music was way to loud I could barely her my fiancee talking to me. Server was very polite. I ask for my egg over easy and was giving sunnyside eggs.

Could not even sit to eat as there was no customer service to help your group to sit would only recommended I'd booked ahead anytime as all table are reserved

The Canadian brew house was amazing with their hospitality to our very large group party. Everyone had a great time and the service was friendly and attentive.

I want to give a huge shout out to Blair (GM) and his team today. We were there from saskatoon with 2 teams running The Queen City Marathon. Unbelievable service! We were a high maintenance table with having young kids to diet restrictions for race day and much more. Blair you are running a great team! Our server (and I wish I could remember her name) was awesome. Our table was checked on by your TS, another manager and your expo girl. They were all great at making sure we had all we needed. My team was very happy with everything your team did for us!
Looking forward to supper for next years race with you!

Great little place. I had the kids and they were prepared. Hockey themed high chairs and cutlery made the experience come full circle.

Decent selection of food, prices aren't too bad. For a Canadian Brewhouse it had a disappointingly large selection of AMERICAN beers. Would have appreciated Canadian beers here considering the name of the place. I enjoyed my beef au jus sandwich.

No fault to the server. Very poor execution by the kitchen in preparation of my meals. 75% of meals received at our table were not served as ordered. Not good when your served raw chicken and steak!

Definitely not dine at this location or recommend this location to others!

Music was insanely loud but the shrimp baskets were wonderful. Wont go back. Place is trashy with no class. Our server however was very nice.
