The Fat Badger

Cold food, terrible service. Sat at our table for over two hours and saw the waitress maybe 3 times. It was not busy enough to justify this. Waitress seemed more concerned with hanging out with her friends than serving customers. Would’ve liked to have more than two drinks over the 2+ hours at a bar. Definitely was not wanting to stay as long as we did but it took 45 minutes just to get a bill. Will not be returning.

This used to be one of my favourite spot when I was working downtown with great service but have gone back three times in the last 6 months and the service has been terrible. It was between 2-3 pm when there hardly any customers there and the staff does not seem to care. You literally have to keep watching around for some to serve you a drink while everyone is chatting even when you are sitting at the bar. I literally wanted to get up and leave all three times but it was cold so just stayed.

I wanted to like Fat Badger but it just couldn't happen. Went with friends and ordered lots of different items to try lots. Everything was just underwhelming and our group agreed. Pizza crust bad, nachos boring, shrimp bland, badger bread sogey. Service was good though.

The Badger has been eating the food there. Maybe, stopping for a pint or 2. Luckily, there is a gym next door.

Had the Maplewood chicken The chicken itself was good but way to much bun The fries are shoestring and I would expect them to be crispy but they were very limp, but cooked. Service was ok but needs improving Had to wait for someone to see my plate and empty glass to get my bill
Atmosphere was good, quiet, the guys running it are friendly, I think a dedicated server would help alot

Was ok. Took a while for our first drinks. Then had another server which was good. Then he disappeared and after sitting for 10 mins had to flag someone down to get our bill.

Incredibly rude staff. The new staff turn over has really affected the overall ambiance of this bar. They favorite their “regulars” during the weekend. If you are not a regular you will not be playing pool. Very exclusive and unwelcoming. We will not be back.

They physically hardness me for trying to use the bathroom. Please, don't go here. I was so emotional and physical harmed form this place

Good atmosphere! Don't go downtown much but end up there occasionally and always a good time. Have to try the food sometime.
