The Inn on College

My friend rented a room for us here. She did not insist on a refund though honestly she should have. Our room was clean & nice looking but there was no AC. Instead they brought us a fan and opened a window. Then later a handyman came by to reset the AC but it was a very low amount of cool coming from the vent. It would have taken hours to cool the room so we left. I would say that if price is your main objective, these units would be fine if you are willing to ignore some issues.

Room 6 (upstairs). Bed was comfy. Stuffy room (thank goodness the window opened). The bath has cracks and holes in it. Staff very friendly.

I recommend this place. The managers are friendly and the place is quiet. There is bread peanut butter and coffee for breakfast. There rooms were cool even though it was nearly 40C outside. The only deduction was the first night the sheets did have a couple of strands of hair. Otherwise I recommend the place if you want a quiet night. There is also four freezer packs I left in the communal fridge on the upper level. Use them to your hearts content since (although the stay is recommended) I will not be travelling for at least 8 hours to retrieve them.

Tried to book a room which was confirmed and then got a call that it was not available for the last day of our stay. Unreliable! Extremely rude! Would have left a negative "star" if I could! Guess you can't expect much for such cheap accommodation. Had to re book at a higher rate elsewhere because it was a last minute booking! NEVER AGAIN!

The room was really nice and the bathroom is shared and both were super clean. The room had a desk and a tv and the bed was very comfortable. They also provide towels in your room for the bathroom and the only thing I wish they'd included was a black washcloth so I could remove my makeup. I was staying by myself so they actually gave me a room with a bigger bed instead of the two single bed room that I'd booked, which I was super appreciative of. They also give you an outer door key so you can let yourself in and out whenever. Just a lovely experience and I felt super safe. I also liked being so close to the river and the university. Definitely going to stay there again.

The hotel is a very comfortable.
The rooms are clean and warm.
And that is nice in the cold winter weather.

It seems a bit sketchy at first but it's a very very good hotel for the price, very clean and relatively quiet. Rooms are very small and this is more like a BnB than a hotel.

Clean appearance, friendly staff, cheap price. There were maple bugs in the hall but not in the room.

I stayed in a room on the 4th floor for one night in mid-October. I noticed a bunch of (bed?) bug bites on my skin the day after my stay there and let the hotel know. They said they would look into it and get back to me but I have yet to hear anything. Otherwise my stay was good. It was quiet, I thought my room was clean.
