Wow what a beautiful hotel. Great lounge when you walk in. Highly recommend. Very friendly staff.

This is our favourite hotel in saskatchewan. It has a very unique vibe. It is close to the river, and great for walking jogging or cycling. Be sure to book a suite room. The room has a fantastic breakfast included.

We stayed at The James Hotel over Christmas 2022 and were very happy with the service and accommodations. The bed and linens were comfortable, the room was clean, and the view to the river valley was beautiful. The lounge restaurant was closed during our stay, but we had a tasty room-service meal. The breakfast is definitely a step up from the usual hotel offerings.

Customer Service is top notch breakfast is amazing with great choices and the rooms are very cozy and comfortable with all the amenities you need including the best bed and bedding!

A return to an era where style and superior customer service were the norms. Absolutely excellent!

It is really a hidden gem of a hotel. I frequently stay for work. The rooms are quite nice, the beds are nice and soft. It has a very nice atmosphere in the rooms as well as the lobby and bar. Service has been great and the breakfast is lovely. It is a smaller hotel so it has pros and cons that come with that. Availability of rooms can be limited on occasion, but you also get a pleasant experience with the reduced traffic.

Beautiful rooms and amazing view of the river! The staff here makes staying so pleasant and they go above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable. This is our 2nd time staying here and will always come back The beds are definitely hard to get out of because they are extremely cozy and I always have the best sleep here! I recommend the James Hotel if you want value and relaxation.

I received a stay at the James hotel as a gift. It was a magical experience. The hotel has proximity to so many different restaurants and is right on Saskatoon‘s beautiful River Valley. The front desk clerk encouraged questions and the included breakfast in the morning was an extra treat.

We come here occasionally to get some delicious cocktails with friends. Great casual atmosphere and friendly service. My fav is the Birth of Cool. So good.

Great welcoming into the hotel. Great customer service. Free parking. We had booked a suite and we were well pleased with the room and amenities. Within walking distance of downtown restaurants. Very comfortable bed. Free breakfast with full service. Pricier hotel but you get what you pay for. Highly recommended for a staycation.without the kids ;)

Best hotel is Saskatoon. Contenental breakfast is extremely good, rooms are very nice and beds are comfy.

This is the best kept secret in saskatoon. The service is way beyond 5 star. The staff are the best in their field in my opinion. The room was gorgeous and the view was superb. The breakfast is perfectly made, i highly recommend the eggs Benedict. My wife and I will definitely be making this our yearly staycation for sure. The bed and sheets are criminally comfortable and the robes that come with the romance package are so soft and luxurious. Never have i written a review online for anything but would gladly write on daily for this awesome establishment. Even in these pandemic times this was the most pleasant and relaxing vacation we have had in a long time. I cannot say enough abthis hotel and there amazing staff.

Wonderful hotel, wonderful service. The James was offering a Valentine's Day package that included our room, a bottle of bubbly and some hand crafted treats. We were pleasantly surprised, all the treats tasted wonderful and they even left a sweet card for our anniversary!

The room was very spacious and clean. The bed was very luxurious and soft. The bathroom was very pretty and well kept! We especially enjoyed our breakfast the following morning!

The only down side was parking, due to the hotel having so many guests over the weekend they ran out of space in their main lot but gave us the option to park in the Sheraton's lot. Not a big issue but a but it was a bit of a longer trek in the cold.

I was also very happy when our car didn't start and they helped try to get it started.

Beautiful room overlooking the river was fabulous, the staff and service were so friendly and accommodating, following all the safety protocols. Looking forward to our next staycation when this is over. A gem in our downtown sector. The sheets and bed were like no other. I will definitely see if I can order the sheets from the website for my home. The promotion was a welcome surprise. Well done during this crazy time! Thank you for a great night, we will be back very soon.

My wife and I booked this for our 1 year wedding anniversary. They had a great package for it and it was absolutely stellar. Great breakfast, outstanding service, and a beautiful room. Might make it a yearly thing

Love this hotel so much.
My wife and I go to the james whenever needing a staycation.
But just checked in this evening and we were very disappointed that river view rooms are the same price of the room we got.
Our view is a very dirty rooftops and carpark.
Understandable that riverview rooms are all sold out but the same price.really?

A wonderful place with great ambiance and located centrally downtown. Great people, great food and a quiet lounge to watch skaters on the riverbank at Christmas! Our Favorite place to stay!

We loved it. My husband was in the hotel industry for most of his career and is very critical when we stay in hotels. He only had good comments for the James.

Everything about my 6 night stay was exceptional. The front desk staff was great, always greeting me with a genuine smile. The room was as nice as one could hope for, with comfortable furniture and big bright windows with privacy. I really enjoyed the patio when it rained. Housekeeping took great care of me, and the included breakfast was everything I needed. And I loved the location right on the river park, while also being downtown. I will definitely stay at this hotel again the next time I'm in Saskatoon.

From service to quality this is one of my favorite hotels. Also one of the best places for cocktails in Saskatoon.

Very comfortable and elegant design. Amazing atmosphere with extraordinary service. I spent the last day of the Jazz Festival there and it was amazing! Convenient location and gorgeous river view! Highly recommended!

So much can be said about this hotel. 5 Star+, Premiere, Elegant, Magnificent, Luxurious & Ausome! From the room's to the staff tending to every request, it by far the best place to stay in Saskatoon, and I live here. Great place for that weekday/weekend get away. The beds, OMG! Once you crawl in, you will only leave kicking & screaming. 12 out of 10 stars!
