The Lobby Kitchen & Bar

I absolutely love the Lobby. It's trendy, has a great atmosphere, good food and a great little patio for drinks in the summer. Took my husband here before seeing a show last night, and ordered an extra caesar - it was perfect. Hubby raved about his jalepeno, bacon burger and fries so naturally, I had a bite of both. The burger was so delicious and the fries are cooked to perfection, its those little crispy bites I love. I had the butter chicken last night and it was good too, but im usually a blackend chicken taco, girl. We were seated, and served, and finished our meal within 30 minutes despite how busy it was in there.

The atmosphere and service was great! I had the bacon cheddar burger and fries. The burger was great, a bit saucy, but still satisfying. Their honey dill is superb! Their service was great as well. Glad my new neighbourhood bar is just as nice as my old one.

Great pub atmosphere! Varied menu with a few gluten gree options but the staff offered to alter other items on the menu to make them gluten friendly. Ordered blackened chicken tacos- delicious and very filling in spite of blackened = charred and a half order of nachos with beef which while delicious, left my husband hungry. GF beer on tap as well!

Waitress was good, nice place. Not often i leave a burger and fries on my plate but i did tonight. Putting process cheese and bullseye bbq sauce on a precooked burger doesn't make it automatically taste good. Same with nachos. Don't know what they did to the hamburger in the nachos but i could only eat 4 chips and i was done. 2 to try and two out of morbid curiosity to see if it really tasted that bad. Approached “The Lobby” with cautious optimism and was let down again

Located in a very nice neighbourhood that gives off safe and clean vibes.
I was a bit skeptical due to some of the reviews being disappointing experiences but we tried it anyways.
Service was very friendly and receptive- we got to seat ourselves. So we headed outside as the AC was a bit chilly.
Prompt service.
The menu matched that which was online.
I had the grilled cesar wrap which automatically came with a side of fries, any other options are priced upgrades (it wasn’t clear on the menu that it comes with fries as a side per baseline).
The fries are home cut and very crispy. Tasty!
My wrap was really good too, held together well, tasted great.
It was quiet enough outside that we could have a conversation; inside seems it might be a bit more challenging due to the music & if it had been a busier night.
The price was decent- no different than a restaurant who served similar dishes and a good environment.

I only didn’t give it a 5 because it didn’t stand out as somewhere I’d call my favourite place on earth to eat but I would definitely return and disagree with most of the poor reviews I read!

The food was nice. Drinks were good. So was the service and the atmosphere. I had fish tacos, poutine and berry fizz.

Love it. The pizzas are great as is the rest of the food. Love eating here. The atmosphere is great and the owner and staff are always very personable.

This restaurant is wayy too overpriced and the food itself was definitely not worth the premium being paid.

We were a group of 4, and ordered the spicy chicken pizza, a couple of mojitos, a serving of garlic bread (Which was like 3 small sticks, and that's it!) and onion rings.

Now onto the food - Pizza was nowhere near spicy, and the chicken was hardly to be found, it was mostly jalapenos. The mojitos were also no good, hardly any alcohol in them. The garlic bread was practically burnt! The Onion rings were just about meh.even then being a bit on the oily side. Also, something that I noticed later - on the menu, the price of the Onion rings was mentioned as $4.50, but on our bill, we were charged $10 for the same, what's up with that? !

The only redeeming qualities of this place would be the service, which was just fine, and the ambience, which was really good.

Overall, we paid almost $64 for what we had (Including the hefty 15% (~$9) tip!). Thus, it's definitely a once and done affair for me.never going here again!

A very cool, easygoing place to hang out. It's far enough away from downtown that you don't get some of the more unpleasant clientele that hangs out in that area. The owners and the staff are very personable and the food (especially the Wings, Pizza, and Tacos) is really good.

It also probably has the best Patio in the city and we always have a great time here.

Atmoshpere and service was fine. The food was extremely dissapointing. If I return it will be for drinks only.

Great service. They were taking too long with my food and ended up having it on them as a compliment.

Very limited options for vegetarians/people who eat halal. Any fish option has beer batter which we couldn’t eat. Had to order the other options we had remaining and it was just okay wasn’t that great. Customer service was really good though.

There was too much sauce in the poutine (too much mayo! And by the way, why mayo? !), they could have served it seperately.taco salad was ok. The drinks were good and fancy.the waitress did a good job.

Food was decent. Did not have all the choices on tap that were listed in the menu. The service was terrible! We were a group of about 10 having food and drinks. Could not get a drink reordered or refilled. Wanted to order a bunch of appetizers to share around the table. Were told they can't share things between bills and have to order selections separately.

Stopped for a drink after work Friday. Awesome atmosphere, fantastic bartender. Great place.

The fish tacos are amazing. Hands down. However the server I got was extremely rude right from the start. Honestly if I ever come back I will walk right out if I get the dark red haired girl with tattoos on her left forearm. I should not have to feel like I’m seconds away from my head being cut off whenever I ask for anything. This is coming from a 3rd year bartender
