They need more friendly people working at the donation doors. I tried donating a baby bath chair this morning and I was told they cant accept it due to liability and the lady gave me a dirty look. She was scrunching her eyebrows at me. Ok fine rules are rules but she didnt have to give me a dirty look. Ive been donating to this thrift store for years and now Im hesitant to donate here because I don't want to deal with rude employees. I also donated a closed bag of baby plates so after this happened I started to wonder if they accepted these. As I was shopping in the store I noticed that same lady in the donation room and since the door was open I popped my head in to ask if baby bowls were accepted and if not I could take them back. She said it depends on the condition and shut the door. I guess she didnt want to be bothered by anymore of my questions so wanted to shut the door asap. I think that was pretty rude too. So I knocked on the door and said if there is anything in my bag that isnt accepted just give it back because I want to make sure it gets used and not thrown away. I spend the morning getting my donation bag ready so I wanted to make sure it was going to a place that could use everything. Then she came back with a spatula that had some damage on it. Im not going to waste my time donating to this thrift store anymore if they are just going to keep giving things back. Its rude and a waste of my time and gas. Cant even ask questions either without getting a door shut in my face.

Then I went to go use my donation coupon and I tried to buy a couple of simpsons dvd box sets and the cashier tried to charge me $2.99 per dvd! There were 4 dvds in each box set so that would have been 12 bucks! I told her she is suppose to charge me the $7.99 for the box set. I think shes new I never seen her before so it would be good to show cashiers what a dvd box set is during training. Luckily the other cashier stepped in who has been working at the store for a while and said yes this is a box set for $7.99 otherwise I just would have left them there. Its pretty bad when dvd box sets used to be $2.99 a couple months ago then jumped all the way to $7.99 and I almost got dinged 12 bucks today. Lots of people must be mad about the $5 increase because I noticed theres alot more dvd box sets for sale now so they must be selling less. VHS tapes went up to $2 from $1 so now I dont buy as many. Im so glad I built up my collections before all these price increases.

Very big well organized thrift store. Big selection of clothes, housewares, etc. Staff are very friendly & helpful. One word of advice, if you are looking for furniture items get there early, these sell out fast. And remember that by shopping here you are supporting a very worthy cause!

Busy place during the day. Stood in Long line for almost 10 minutes before they opened another Till. Just to grab everyone from the END OF THE LINE and help them first.
Nice to know first come first serve doesn't happen here.
