I guess you need to acquire a taste for Indian food. The waitress didn't huddle and was absent. We had to keep going up to the bar to order anything.

Bad Customer Service over Curb-side. Try to cancel the order because prices are to higher they said never call us again for future orders. How rude customer service.

Once they missed the food item No great customer service after that. Also not delicious food.

Food was really good the experience of sitting in the totally secluded Cubano made it feel like a very private dinner, great services. Food took longer than expected! Expensive for the quantity served!

Briefly meow. Ordered at closing time by phone. They voluntarily stayed late, I was grateful. Showed up and they offered to let us to stay and eat inside while staff were driven home because "Indian food is saucy and hard to eat in a car". We were on a road trip through town.

That's small town treatment, not PA treatment.

Oh yes, food was delicious and had home cooked meal vibe and zero sauce from a package taste.

Only good for white people as they do discrimination in seating area also what’s a shame. Their Naan’s were totally burnt. I have Salt nd Pepper 4 times there service is excellent.

I absolutely love the Spice Trail! The food & service is always amazing. I have eaten here for lunch, birthdays, etc.the staff treat us so kindly.

Nothing out of the box, or cooked in the microwave from frozen. Real fresh food made from scratch, right down to grinding their own spices. Kind and thoughtful owners. Love their food! One of my favourites, Tandoori chicken salad with mango dressing. YUM! We are lucky to have this calibre of food in Prince Albert.

My family and I have ordered from or eaten at Spice Trail many times and we have never had a bad meal. The food is always delicious. If you’re not into spicy food, you can always order it milder. It’s such a nice change from the usual fast food or family restaurants. The decor of the restaurant is exotic and full of references from the owner’s heritage. The owner herself is one of the nicest people you’ll meet. I can’t recommend this place enough.

Spice Trail is my favourite restaurant in Prince Albert. It is the best Indian food I have ever had! The quality and time and care spent on the cuisine can be tasted. I will be back again and again!

I've been going to this restaurant since it opened, and I have never had a meal that was less than excellent! The food is consistently fresh and delicious! The ambience of the restaurant itself is delightful! With all the beautiful silk hangings and the private booths, you fell like you are somewhere exotic. The service is amazing. The owner is incredibly gracious and warm and really goes the extra mile. For example, once when I placed an order rather last minute for delivery because a friend was visiting from out of town, she personally delivered the food hot, and on time, when she had no staff for delivery. Spice Trail is the best restaurant I have been to and Prince Albert is so lucky to have it!

The food is delicious, service is great, and the owner does everything in her power to make sure you enjoy your experience.

Me with some of my friends went to this restaurant yesterday after 2 hours of driving, we were sooo hungry. We ordered 3 lamb biryani’s and some chowmine. When they served the food, we noticed in 1 bowl there was just a one tiny piece of lamb! We asked the waitress and ask her to talk to the kitchen. We thought they might forgot to put lambs. She told that- “this is it.we put lambs in it. ”
After some time, one gentle (?) lady came and we asked the same question to her. Now she got angry (!) and told us that “our kitchen said they put lamb in it “. And she was behaving so rudely! She also said, “ I can see, you all already finished your meal! I am in restaurant business for 8 years now. Nobody made a single complaint. “ with all her rude behaviour, she was trying to prove that we lied and she was getting agitated on us. We were literally just shocked with her behaviour. Like seriously? Food was OK, not so good, not so bad. But you are in this business for so long and still you don’t know how to behave with customers.
They have another restaurant in Saskatoon “Kashmere”

Amazing lunch. I had what I recalled was the express lunch. Friendly service too. I’ve been to similar restaurants across Ontario and Alberta and this is by far the best quality for the price. It would be nice if restaurant had better access and parking, yet based on my experience I will let that slide.

Truly one of the best restaurants in PA. We often get the beef vindaloo, veggie pakora, chicken biryani and dhal. I’d go with medium heat if you’re into spicy, mild is also tasty if you want to play it safe.

The service and food were amazing. I had butter chicken masala, I left very full because I ate every bite!

Delicious hand made food in generous portions! Just the right amount of seasoning. Highly recommend the Kathi roll with lamb and vegetable pakoras. Service is excellent

Great food and service - thanks Sheena! Portions were generous and probably the best garlic naan I’ve ever tasted! Decor was nice and authentic, shahi paneer, saag and garlic naans are a must try. Will definitely be back if I’m in the area again.

Their buffet makes my day. It is a ray of sunshine in our bleak community. Their curries are so good they cured my depression. I don’t think that can be proven by science but you should eat Spice Trail anyway. Seriously that’s a good buffet. Holy moly.

Definitely one of my favourite restaurants in town! It has definitely made its mark. We love the whole menu and prefer a La carte to buffet. My favourite items include the butter chicken, Khodi pakora, non vegetarian sizzler, Biriyani, all of the breads, and the fish pakora!

Such an incredible, underrated place. Just tried it for a second time, and its so good! We ordered appetizers and main dishes, all of which surpassed my already high expectations. Everything was super fresh. The staff was super friendly, and made us feel as if we were already regulars. Love the atmosphere, especially the cozy booths (great for dates!) This place is a vibe. The butter chicken and naan were so damn good! For someone like me who doesn’t love a lot of spice, but likes the Indian flavour, they made it perfect!

Spice Trail was my first introduction to East Indian food, and now it's a weekly staple for me. They offer traditional meals as feel as well as some creative East Indian/American fusions. I've been many times and the food has always been perfect. The staff are always super friendly and cheerful and the atmosphere is very relaxed with beautiful decor. I highly recommend everyone try this restaurant.

Taste is good but quantity? We have to order twice the amount of what they bring. So basically extremely expensive.

Amazing food. Humble and attentive service from a truly family run business. The menu has vegetarian options (one would expect that from a truly authentic place) it has milder options for the less adventurous of the adventurous eaters. I miss the buffet style eating of the PRE-COVID19 world. However the staff are always willing to explain flavors and textures for the most inquisitive diners. A truly wonderful place to have a meal!

Waiting fo more than 30 minutes for a NOT so authentic and SALTY lamb and beef kebabs.the server said that their food are made from scratch and fresh daily but the kebabs are Sooooo DRY and SALTY like it’s been made centuries ago!

We are always delighted with the delicious food. Butter chicken is our first love, but used to love the buffet before Covid. Even their delivery people are friendly. We look forward to dining in again soon.

Excellent food and the owners/staff are very helpful in what to order! We had a sampler plate and it came on a cool airplane-like tray (only bigger!) Naan bread is amazing.

Had a fantastic meal at the spice trail for an unbelievable price. 3 of us were stuffed to the gills for $100 with drinks. The staff was super friendly and in the receiving area they had Indian jewelry, silks and other trinkets for sale. One of the people we ate with was not a spice person so all of our dishes were ordered mild and kids could easily eat it. We had the garlic Naan but there were soooo many interesting choices of naan both sweet and savory. Would highly recommend visiting The Spice Trail and if I'm ever back in PA I will visit again for sure.

Terrible customer service ever I have received. I have been asked whether I worked in a restaurant when I enquired about how long the dishes take to be served; although I waited 35 minutes before I asked the question.
Mistakes happen only once!

If you like Indian food and are in the vicinity you are not going to be disappointed here. We have young children and were worried that they would not cope with the spice. We asked them to tone it down in this case and it was amazing, kids want to go back and keep asking about it. Great staff great service and great food. Enjoy!

Nice atmosphere, friendly staff. Only minor detail was that my wife ordered a shrimp something something. She got 3 little pieces of shrimp. The rest of the food was terrific. We'll be back.

This WAS the "go to" resturaunt for my S. O and his buddy. They adored this place and spoke highly of the food. They visited 2-4 times a week and were never disappointed. This was until they removed the free soda refills a few months ago. They have not returned since. For $20 buffet, refills should be free as they are at EVERY other buffet in town, yet for lesser price. Although they crave the great food, they refuse to return. Congrats!

Ordered delivery. The food is SUCCULENT and authentic, portions are big. Service was fast and great. I am visiting PA for work from another province and I’m sad I won’t get to eat here again!

I've lived in BC now for two and a half years and i still haven't found a better indian restaraunt than this place.i miss this food.they do it right you have to try it.

You can get the authentic Indian food that too in affordable price. And it also provides a great atmosphere for a family outing.
