The Spot Restaurant and Lounge

The food is very good I cannot complain that way. However, the service has been terrible. With a very light load of customers it still took over 10 minutes just to get our drink orders. The food took 40 minutes to get to our table.

Had several meals here over the weekend.same thing every time. Food was excellent.had a few different dishes.all very good. BUT, service seemed confused and slow, and food service was very slow. 50 minutes to get food once.

Definitely some of the best food served in town I highly suggest there pulled pork poutine it’s to die for

This is the perfect “Spot” after a round of golf or anytime. Amazing food, even better drinks and awesome staff. We will be back!

Friendly service, had the seafood platter and it was delicious. Didn't give five stars because we didn't like the spicy Ceasars that they make especially for the price they charge for them.

Was very disappointed on the whole experience. The wait staff was very unfriendly and acted like we were an inconvenience. We ordered a steak sandwich and it came on with chunks of meat and half the meat was tendons and fat. The fries were soggy and cold. Won't go back.

The calamari was fantastic as was all of our meals and drinks. The servers were so fun. Thank you Cassey. You were delightfully fun.

Waitresses were friendly and hospitable.
Food wasn't that great for the price. And it took 40 min to get our food. Dessert pretty sure they forgot about it.
Good place to go for appies n maybe few drinks but not set up for a family table of 8.

Well priced. The food was eclectic for a golf course. I had the beef melt and it was nice on toasted sour dough, however the meat / sauce ratio, was way out of wack. Too much sauce just made everything sloppy. The burgers were good, and the spinach dip was delightful, needed more chips however.

If we could give this review a 0 I would. We came here for a small, booked in advance wedding rehersal, and ended up sitting on the patio for 3 hours, with zero service. Waited almost an hour for water to be brought to the table in 35° weather. We had grandparents and babies among the group, who after a long day of wedding events were not even offered an Appy for snacks for over 2 hours. Half the party ended up leaving to go get fast food in town. The other half stayed as long as we could before also giving up on ever seeing our food, or even a drink refill. After all this, the manager even tried to include an auto gratuity of 20% BEFORE anyone had even received their food. The manager sent the poor lone waitress out to deal with the group of 30 instead of coming to deal with us directly. As a result the waitress was in tears because she felt so terrible. The bride's rehersal dinner was completely ruined and the manager should be ashamed of herself for trying to hide behind her poor server (just a child) to deal with a very difficult situation. I have never in my life walked out on a restaurant until tonight.

We went down the road to Mabel Hill, and they made the night special for us again. Skip the spot and drive 5 more minutes to Mabel hill. You won't regret it.

Nice spot at the golf course. Appies were awesome, drinks were great and the service was perfect.

Phenomenal service. Debbie was very helpful, personable and memorable. The food and drinks were all clearly crafted with skill and attention to detail. The signature Caesar's were delicious and our food was cooked perfectly.

Server was friendly, but some of the food for our table came out 25 minutes after the rest and one order wasn't made as ordered. Very disappointed as we've heard good things about the restaurant.

Made a reservation for 30 people for a wedding rehearsal supper. Half the people including the bride and groom and the entire bridal party waited 45 minutes for beverage. After 2 hours several of us left to A&W as we were told our food was not even being prepared yet. Not impressed. Will not be back.

Server was fantastic. Food was not great. Perogies with sausage main was very greasy and heavy. Won't be eating there again. But great place for a beverage after a round due to excellent service.

The spot just hits THE Spot. The food is fantastic and the staff was quite friendly. I had the fettuccine alfredo and it was amazing. It had a very unique twist that added some nice complex flavors to the dish. There sangria is also great. It hits the spot when you're looking for a refreshing Bev. The spit is also a very modern looking restaurant, bring it to a whole.new lever when compared to other places in the surrounding area. Overall, The Spot is a fantastic place to grab a bite, wether your looking to sit down or just to snack. Would.highly recommend.

I find the food is good but the portions are really small. For what you get, the prices are very high. I've eaten there 3 times and always leave hungry. The odd part is that the things they skimp on are extremely affordable items, potatoes, onion rings, garlic bread. Onion rings are a 3 dollar up charge and you get 5.yes 5. Not a typo.

The Spot has a lot going for it. Great food and good service. They are doing very well at maintaining distance and keeping their clients safe. Good job all!

Friendly staff and lovely aesthetic and atmosphere. I had a pulled pork burger with wedges. Burger was a decent size and wedges were massive, you only got a few but they were so good and I didn't need any more.

Kind servers and very nice modern interior. I got The Spot Burger which was very good. The rest of the menu looks good too. Part of the restaurant overlooks the curling rink so you get to watch the games in the evening.
