TM'z Veterinary Clinic

Just took my dog for his one year exam and vaccinations. Their prices have gone up but I guess that's to be expected. They are more efficient than when I've gone in the past and it's closer to me than going to the city. Would recommend.

Friendly staff but took a kitten there to get it fixed and wasn't sent home with pain meds for him. And because he was a stray they wanted to clip his ear but I said no he's being adopted doesn't need that cause I'm getting him a chip. But other than that a good place for animals.

Harlow is so well taken care of at TM'z.

It is truly a shame that the professionalism of the "front end" (that sits around talking instead working) is diametrically opposed to the back end.

Been waiting 3 weeks for a quote to get my dog spade. Each time I called I had to give them my information again and still haven’t received anything. Nothing against the vets themselves but the front staff communication is not good from my experience.

My wife and I had a very good experience taking our little Chihuahua in for a check up and dental consultation. Dr. Lily Sousy was excellent to deal with and the vet tech and reception area staff were also great!

The vet was excellent the front desk was scrambling because of a sick call. But each time I go, There is very little communication between the vet room and the front desk and she isn't very happy. I spent 20 minutes paying and left with the wrong food. No fish flavour as discussed with the vet. Left with different food from the very unhappy receptionist.

Terrible communication.
I have memory issues so I made sure to phone plenty times before hand to confirm the drop off time and I was still there at the wrong time waiting for someone to open the doors. When I brought this up my question was gaslighted and I was repeated what I was saying in a different way. ‍️

Best people to deal with always fun and friendly. Only place I trust with my dog. (Revised) don't know what is happening over there but they are no longer any help and will gouge you for as much money as possible for temporary solutions. Please take your furry friends elsewhere if you care for them

The staff were very friendly, the facilities were clean and inviting. The doctor was very knowledgeable and patient and thoroughly went through all my questions and concerns with me. I had a great experience with TM'z and will definitely be my go to vet from now on.

Your pet will get the best care with the vets here. We have gone to several vet clinics in Regina and keep coming back to TMZ. Unfortunately, some of the receptionist lack basic customer service skills, but is also a hit or miss depending with who you are dealing with. The worst of them all is probably the lady with the short white hair (Kim). Without her, this place would be much more welcoming.

It's has been nearly impossible to get anyone to answer the phone or give a call back. 15 phone calls and 3 messages left to have 2 meaningful conversations where I was able to get a prescription filled and now change to a better Vet clinic. It took nearly a week to get my first prescription filled from them and only because I complained about the length of time it was taking. The lady on the phone finally stopped making excuses and checked to see that it was actually there waiting for me to pickup and I actually didn't have to wait an additional 4 days! It's amazing how the people that answer the phones here can be so passive aggressive and confrontational, getting a prescritpion filled or something as simple as having some paperwork faxed off is at a minimum a multi-day process. The 27$ to have medical records transferred to another clinic is a slap in the face that no other vet charges, but something I've gladly paid to not have to deal with this place ever again.

The phone message says that they are accepting new patients but they don't have the time to answer calls or return messages unless I spam their phone.

If you want to deal with a Vet clinic where the receptionists will LIE to you and play childish games, this is the place for you! I personally would rather doing the Old Yeller to my dog than deal with these people.

This is the worst business I have ever had to deal with. They were great to deal with years ago, but I've been told that anyone with a soul has left, and my recent experience leads me to believe that this is an understatement.

I had only past dealing with Dr. Marshal where she made me feel like a bad dog owner as I was hesitant to get testing done. From this, I asked to see the other vet Dr. Suesse, who is calm and level headed, weights the pros and cons with you. 2 years has gone by with me meeting with Dr. Suesse, no problems, love her. Called the office about a senior dog the other day. Dr. Marshal did a phone assessment, however I did not trust her opinion and asked to be seen by the other Vet, Dr. Suesse who i love and respect. Unfortunately, Dr. Marshal was the only vet available.

I asked to wait to speak to the vet I trust, who would be in in 2 days. I received the direction to take my dog to a 24 hour clinic or to be seen that morning as her symptoms were assessed as 'sever' (nose bleed, leaky eye, sneezing). I advised that I was not able to due to financial constraints, but I could in 2 days as that is when I was paid. (I just had my other dog released from TM’z care a few day prior to this, where she got surgery and I paid in full)

During the night following this advice her symptoms subsided (Nose stopped bleeding) so I did not take into a walk in clinic. Received a call from TMZ vet clinic next morning asking if i took my dog in, as advised to. I replied no, as I had previously told them I did not have the ability to pay for services for another day. Admin staff told me that since i went against Dr. Marshal's advice, my file would be closed. Dr. Marshal is completely unprofessional in her approach to discontinuing services based on someone wanting a second opinion and financially discriminated against me for waiting so I could pay for services. There were no ill words between us, I was told because I was not confident in Dr. Marshall’s advise and I went against her recommendations for my dog to be seen she does not want me to have services from her office. I will be making a complaint to the Saskatchewan Veterinary Association as she can not discriminate against me as I couldn’t afford services, I was not offered to come in and get services and to pay later. I was concerned and reached out for services. My dog is a large dog, that had a nose bleed and is 13 years old. 2 days dog is still actively running around and loving life and people. I will take my dog to another vet that doesn’t feel challenged by me and is able to weigh my budget, invasiveness and quality of life.

Update: called another vet office they didn’t think it was an emergency offered to book an appointment.

Took dog to Animal Clinic, saw Dr. Sawa. She is amazing! Got on some medication, talked with me about pros and cons of intervention. Intervention does not have to be immediate. What a difference in experience!

We go to TMZ with all our cats. They treat us well, have good pricing, and have been very thorough with examinations and tests. No complaints here!

Great staff! I take my rescue here - when she had her spay surgery they offered IV fluids to speed along her recovery, called us when her BP dropped during - quickly corrected it & informed us about everything. And it doesn't hurt that the spay was almost $250 less then what the Albert-North clinic quoted us! Front staff is super friendly & caring. One thing that does stink is that there's no option to wait on hold until a receptionist is available, instead if no one picks up it goes straight to voicemail. I do wish they would fix that but otherwise my experience has always been good

I have a 14-year-old whites tree frog who has been steadily declining for a few weeks. I found Dr. Soucy, their exotic veterinarian, who is extremely professional, kind and gentle; giving me all of my options and providing me with some supplements and medication to try to get my frog back to health. Dr. Soucy has also left the door open for communication on end of life decisions if the treatment fails. The veterinarian technicians and the receptionists were also very professional, personable and kind. I would recommend TM’z clinic and Dr. Soucy 10x over to anyone who is looking for an exotic veterinarian!

The people at TM’z are phenomenal. They take exceptional care of my dog every time I’m in, lay out all the options and risks clearly, and help you decide what is the best path forward for your animal. The front reception is knowledgeable and compassionate.

I unfortunately have had 2 recent emergencies with my dog where I’ve had to call in for same-day appointments and they did their best to get me in and provide the best care for my dog.

I cannot say enough good things about TM’z.

I love our vet. My dog is so anxious it's hard to take her to get anything done. But they always do a great job.

Tm'z has been the vets for our dogs since they have been part of our family, dating back to 2008. We have/had 3 puppies and Dr. Marshall have been in their lives since day 1. She is caring and compassionate, yet level headed in her recommendations and decisions.
We sadly had to say goodbye to our little Gizmo last week, but not after trying to get him better (he had cancer). We had to go to Saskatoon to the small animal clinic, but Dr. Marshall was the "mediator" between us and the clinic. She helped and assisted the best that she could, but the cancer got too malignant. In the end, we had to say goodbye to Gizmo on family day. Dr. Marshal and her assistant Andrea came in on a holiday to make sure Gizmo had the nicest, coziest, friendliest goodbye we could ever dream of. She made the very best of a very worst situation and we are eternally thankful. We still have Bijou and Brynner and they will be her patients as long as they grace our lives.

The process of trying to get an appointment is more painful than watching a pet die. Absolute incompetence

I’ve been taking my dog here for quite some time. For the most part I’ve had no issues. The vet techs and vets are amazing. However I CANNOT say the same for their receptionist. For the past couple of months I’ve had to bring my dog here for a few reasons but I’ve had a terrible experience with the receptionist (both in-person and over the phone). Particularly the older blonde woman (maybe her name is Kim? Lynda?). She’s snarky, rude, and not professional. She cannot keep up with inputting information on the computer (which is her job). As soon as you call her out she becomes defensive and has a change of attitude. If it wasn’t for her, this place would be a 5 star in my eyes. Your rude, passive aggressive receptionist is driving business away.

The receptionist, Samantha, is one of the worst humans who you'll ever have to speak to. Time and time again she has purposely ignored me and my family members and has given unacceptable & unprofessional attitude in her work. She has never failed to purposely ensure we have to sit in the waiting area for upwards of an hour. Upon reaching out to management looking for equal treatment while in the clinic, I was informed of personal issues she has from several years ago and her actions were somehow justified by that. These are poor decisions coming from poor management.
I've had to ask several times for quotes, appointments and even just to pick my dogs up while there in person. This business is completely unprofessional in their customer service regardless of claiming to have trained all their staff properly - Samantha thinks she's above the rest of us who have come to the clinic in times of hardship. If you're looking for a clinic with compassion, unfortunately TMZ front line staff will not be able to provide you with that and will leave you feeling belittled.

Took my dog here as he had a run in with a porcupine. They took him in right away and were really friendly. Would highly recommend.

Another update, my other dog had a medical emergency and needed surgery right away. They treat us like family and we felt very safe with our dog in their hands. They kept us up to date and Dr. Marshall was fantastic and very compassionate. She explained things very well and made time to answer our questions.

Highly recommend this clinic especially as they went out of their way to accommodate my pet on short notice and were extremely thorough and professional. They not only helped take care of the immediate problem but helped make a plan to avoid the issue in the future.

So disappointed in the service from Tmz. Their staff is rude, the admin work is always a nightmare, and the prices are out of the realm of reality for the market. You are much better off going with another clinic, you will pay less for much better service.

This is an amazing vet clinic. They guided us through an incredibly difficult and stressful medical emergency and gave my dog the absolute best care he could have gotten. Dr. Marshall and all the staff treated us like family. This is the only vet I will be going to from now on. It is definitely worth the drive from Regina.

Worth the trip to Lumsden for excellent, professional and compassionate veterinary care. They have always been great with our dogs and prices are reasonable.

Horrible customer service. Extremely rude at the front desk. Left waiting for my dog for over an hour after I was told hours earlier she was ready.

We had been going to TM’z for 15 years. Seems that did not matter. It takes an extremely long time to get in for an appt then when my pet required a very necessary surgery it took 6 months plus just to book it. We finally got fed up and went to Lakewood Animal Hospital in Regina. The surgery took 10 mins and better yet after talking to them we had a surgery date within 1 hour. Sad it had to come to that as I live in Bethune. TM’z reception is horrible. I would not recommend going here to save money. You might not be able to save your pet when its time.

We have always had the most professional conduct in the care of all our previous and our current pets

The veteranarians are kind and compassionate to your pets, but reception can be hit or miss depending on who is working. They will put you on hold and forget that they did so. Simple things like this take a while for certain receptionists. If that is an issue, I would avoid this clinic.

Worst Reception team ever. *THIS PLACE SOES NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR PET AVOID THEM AT ALL COST* Showed up for an appointment at 730 they gave me the wrong info. I asked what we can do they said leave him it didn't work as have to work later so they said then today doesn't work. So I said so you got us to drive here for nothing so all your doing is f.ing me and the dog and was kicked out due to their mistake. Also extremely understaffed

The best vet. Reasonable rates, kind, compassionate and very knowledgeable. 100% worth a short drive out of Regina. As an example, I was quoted $670 in Regina to neuter my cat (where there is a bylaw to neuter your pets!) This is unconscionable and making responsible pet ownership out of reach for so many people. TM'z charges $150. $150! They actually care about your pet and your ability to access excellent care for them. Be mindful that there is no regulation for what a vet charges you.

I went and got my dog spayed this morning. I arrived around 5: 00pm to pick her up and waited over 45 min, paid over $570.00 only to be given the wrong dog. I am on disability and luckily my advocate was with me to help. I had a feeling something was wrong.and only when we got her into the car we found out my dog was still in the vet. This dog is my emotional support animal we were moments away from leaving as we got the go ahead to leave the premises by multiple staff.this is honestly unacceptable.you should not only double check but triple check that people have the correct animal. If there was an older person with issues remembering or recognizing faces they could easily take the wrong pet home.

I love coming here. I'm from Regina but I happily make that drive to bring my pets to the many women that work there. They help so much with everything from basic pet care to helping out with putting a pet down to complicated surgery. They are compassionate and respectful of you and in my situation, and I would assume many other people, I don't have all the money to pay for pet emergencies and they made me feel no judgement regarding the difficult times.

Recently our 6 month old puppy had diarrhea for several days. When I called TMZ they said they could book an appt for me.but suggested a specific 3 day diet change. It worked! And it saved me a trip to the vet. They followed up in couple days to make sure all was well. At TMZ they offer advice /give suggestions free of charge because they really care! Charlene Third

Would 100% recommend them over and over again! They treated my Benny so well and were able to figure out what was wrong with him in under a few hours. I was having a nightmare experience with the 24 hour emergency vet in Regina so my boyfriend had reached out to them for a second opinion over the phone and I'm so thankful he did, the staff and vets here made my Benny happy and comfortable as opposed to the other vet whom I already paid 550 to give me zero answers wanted to sedate him (another $200) because he was worried he may bite his nurses but Dr. Tanyas Vet they were all coming up to my
Benny' telling his dad how handsome he was! Just a total difference in making him feel comfortable and the pet owner to! I felt like Dr. Tanya was genuinely concerned about my dog and it wasnt just about the bill as that's how I felt at the other vet. They were able to relieve my dog of some distress and I feel we are finally in the right direction to figuring out what's wrong with him, So again thank you so much for HELPING my Benny and making my family worried free we appreciate your WHOLE team at TMz Vet! Keep being an AMAZING TEAM!

Admin are horrible at returning your calls, and it seems that when ever I call I get their voicemail. I have been double booked on my last 2 appointments. The vets are nice, caring and reasonable, they just seem to have incompetent admin.

TMZ is the best vet I've experienced in the Regina area, or anywhere. They take the time to really check over your pet, listen to everything you need to tell them/ take it into consideration, and talk to you while they're making decisions about the care of your pet.
The receptionists are all super friendly, patient, helpful, and they clearly all love animals. It's important to me that EVERY staff member in a vet clinic is a huge animal lover because it guarantees they will give proper care to every animal coming through the door. Every single member of staff I have interacted with has been excellent!
They are a very busy clinic but make sure to apologize for it (which they shouldn't even have to considering how hard they're working) and they ensure you understand the wait times and always do their best to get you in as soon as they can in an emergency or direct you to the next best option and provide care advice in between if they can't.
The vets speak to you respectfully, pleasantly, and clearly. They make sure you understand what they are doing for your pet without talking down to you and that you understand and accept what care needs to be provided. They also take the time to get to know you and your dog and let you know how your dog does while being handled, staying in the crates while they wait, and being walked through the facility.
I've heard some people claim they are more expensive but I have found them comparable to other vets in the regina area. And even if the odd test costs more there I will gladly pay it to know they're ACTUALLY taking proper care of my pets and doing thorough physical examinations.
The facilities are always in perfect cleanliness levels and I'm amazed with how they are handling Covid19 regulations and sanitation. Their cleaning staff deserve some serious recognition.
They always strive to provide the best customer service and patient care as well as everyone's safety, pet and person.
I will always recommend TMZ to anyone who loves their pets and is looking for the best care!

The best Vet clinic. The only complaint I have is I wish they would send out notices on when my dogs are due for their shots. I couldn't take my one Yorkie to get groomed because his rabies shot had expired in May.
