Over the years it has got a lot more expensive as I have shopped here for quite a few years prices have gone up for everything though really.but you still do find some nice things here.
I like to shop for small toy bags for my daughter and found LOL dolls there and cute accessories for dolls.shoes are quite overpriced some jackets are as well as I've looked at the retail price for some items online or second hand and they are only a few dollars less or maybe the exact same price. They aren't bad with returns as I've been late returning items due to the snow storm and they still allowed me to do so so the customer service there is actually pretty good and they know how to talk to people and handle customers problems. One very big dislike that I have is no changing rooms and having to return items or exchange items that don't fit or don't like but I do really really like the self checkouts as I don't have to associate or talk to anyone sometimes I'm just not in that mood and I have to go on my phone to find a coupon or such on so anyway thank you Value Village!

Overpriced for stuff they get for free, then turning around to sell it? Something about that doesn’t sit right with me.

This store has really gone downhill. Almost everything is overpriced! No change rooms. The washrooms are disgusting. Lots of selection though as so many people donate here still.

I gave one star because there's still no change rooms. There's one in all the mall clothing stores and places. Let's get it together people. When u go to shop there from an hr and a half away u don't want to come back to exchange jeans that don't fit. And plus everything there is very overpriced for donated items. Craziness. Oh. And there was a guard for the washroom. Really? Salvation army next door is better place to go.

Huge selection of everything. However I'm changing my rating to 1 star and I believe everyone else should. Vallue Village is no longer a place to buy discounted items many items are priced the same or similar to the price of new. What's the point in buying second hand when you can buy the same items for cheaper or the same new? Vallue Village wake up give shoppers a break to get second hand stuff at cheap prices. Everyone reading this id suggest you give a relevant price review or should we boycott Vallue Village all together?

I love this store but unfortunately I have cut back shopping here to due to not having change rooms. Would definitely shop and purchase more if we had those back

Made a donation - got paper to get $2 off on a purchase - survey seems very long for $2 so I shut it down after a while

Great for buying used. Books, household utensils, clothes. Everything was very clean, organized and the staff were very friendly.
04 September 2023 1:28
For a second hand store the products are definitely priced way too high. You may as well just go buy new elsewhere. It’s not worth the money here…
03 December 2021 14:32
Always has a great selection of new clothes to choose from, However the floor isn’t the cleanest and the clothes aren’t always organized. They also changed their discount plans and you can barely save any money anymore. Still for the most part a great place to buy second hand clothes.

Good overall. Very small book selection but lots of kitchenware and clothes. Stop here to furnish your kitchen. Skip the dollarstore.
14 October 2021 8:23
Filthy dirty store with extremely overpriced junk. Anything "good" must be sold in some other was because all there is, is dirty dollar store junk or old dumpster fit items. A huge contrast to MCC stores which have some nice things at decent prices.

I love going to value village you always seem to find a hidden treasure plus they have affordable items and reduce household and clothing waste by reselling gently used items I support this store and I love the treasures I find for me and my family

Clean atmosphere, lots of good finds. Went to the furniture/housewares side first and spotted some nice hanging artwork. Then to the clothing side for a hoodie, some tee shirts, pajama pants and a skirt (good find because it has pockets and looks new. See photo). The lines were long but I knew people were doing back to school shopping so I figured the 15 minute wait was worth it. The service was friendly and quick.

Disappointed. Really. No change rooms at all. I understand covid happened but the reason they were gone was not because of that. And for a place that is half clothing.that's just crazy to me. Maybe there is another reason but man it's sure hard to enjoy the shopping when you can't try anything at all.
21 September 2021 16:20
WOW what a great value for my dollar! For my two-year-old daughter we were able to fill an entire bag full of clothing for only I can't even buy one item for her for $6.99 at any retail store aside from a dollar store LOL so not only is it cheap but you are recycling and you should feel good about that so please shop here
21 September 2021 15:29
Over priced, and they sell dirty broken furniture and accessories, including greasy dishes, along with old smelling clothes.
18 September 2021 1:32
They dont let you return items! They dont have change rooms. Due to the popularity of thrifting the price has gone up.
You old get an instore credit

Found a hat for 1.99 my son fiddled with it while wearing it causing the tag to fall off.got to the check out and the cashier and the MOD argued with me. I explained to them.they kept nodding their heads "NO" it's 4.99. I told them I have the tag just gotta retrace my steps.sure enough found the 1.99 tag.took it to them.they lost it again and asked for the tag yet again.it just was embarrassing to say the least.the MOD repeated herself.not really resolving the situation so put it in my own hands and walked to where the tag fell off.showed it to her.and I assured I was not trying to get any tag from anywhere else.just the original tag.my kids were embarrassed. I was embarrassed hope that does not happen again.that tends to happen there where they overprice and these are donated items. I had no problem paying 4.99.they were rude about it is all

My favorite place to shop for clothes. I can spend hrs in there. Everytime I go there its hard for me to leave. Seriously. I love value village.
01 September 2021 13:02
Used to shop Value Village all the time. Delete of change rooms to try things on is a problem. If I can't try on then no point shopping here. 14 day return policy is nice if you live near by but I do not. So I can no longer shop here.
Sometimes policy change eliminates a portion of customer based.
Ciao to VV.

Dropped stuff off here, the young guy Mark that took in my donations was very helpful and polite and made sure to give me a coupon.

The biggest issue here is the fact that since the changerooms have been taken out, you have to take it home to try on. What's worse is that you can only exchange.no in store credit or refund. If I came in for an item and bought it and it doesn't fit, how do I exchange it for a different size? I can't, it's not the same item. Pretty poor customer service if you ask me.

I bought 2 pairs of shorts.only ones I liked and only reason I came in. Tried them on at home and didn't fit. Brought them back the next day and had to exchange. For what? Shorts I don't like that are the right size? Why can't there be store credit? Wasn't about to find some random stuff for the same amount that I didn't need right there and then. Super disappointed. Won't be back

This is a great bargain shop with used goods. Some things are over priced. There are no treasures to be found here for a good price. Those things are quickly put behind the counter and priced at eBay prices.
31 July 2021 3:03
Great place with lots of different stuff to browse. I prefer the shoe selection at this location versus the one in stone bridge.
20 July 2021 5:49
Would be great if I stopped hearing about how they're not letting their employees know that they've been exposed to other employees with COVID, until the new ones exposed test positive.

I enjoy shopping at value village, But I have noticed a price hike over this past year and it's not making me a very happy shopper! And I do understand it's probably because of shoplifting the price hike! So ShopLifters out there mind going and stealing elsewhere because your ruining the deals some of us are looking for! Seriously!

A complete rip off. I was there yesterday and found 3 items with $2 Dollar Store stickers on them. Value Village Prices were $7.99 for the mug, $6.99 for the plate and $19.99 for sifter and it was marked VINTAGE. Thieves. They are NOT a charity.
09 April 2021 4:16
Great place to donate to and if your not to proud u can even find good deals on work clothes, evening dresses, everything.all prices are slashed.
10 February 2021 20:49
Great place for thrifting clothing for a reasonable price. It is definitely not the prettiest place in town but it does offer a wide selection.
20 January 2021 11:56
Fitting rooms are gone. I get it that’s all because of COVID. It’s like going shopping for a surprise short of jacket that barely just fits or is a little bigger.
08 January 2021 5:56
Nice variety and nice clean stuff. Prices are good, but I hoped to see lesser prices from a second hand shop, especially the shoes' section
20 December 2020 6:46
For a thrift store Value Village is getting way out of hand with their prices. Its REDICULOUS! Pair of used shoes. $60.at a thrift store.
Outdated used sunglasses. $50.c"mon now!
A painting. $160!
REDICULOUS!

Place has a decent selection of stuff, at a really cheap price, but with covid and no change rooms, I don't recommend buying stuff you aren't sure about, as their change rooms are closed. Returning stuff that didn't fit me was kind of annoying, especially because you have to pick out new items, and don't get your money back, or even it on a gift card, which was not told to me when purchasing, just that "You can bring them back within 14 days"
26 November 2020 3:17
The power went out there today and we were able to have the stuff held because of it. They wrote everything down but when we left not all the items we had saved were there. I did not check as they had our stuff with our name on it. Not impressed about that. Don’t hold items for people if your not going to hold ALL the items. I even tried calling first before heading back there to make sure they had power.
