Value Village

This store is organized very well and I always find interesting items. The prices are sometimes very high for what it is, especially at a second hand store.

The selection is nothing special. The lack of change rooms is upsetting since it's hard to know if the clothes will fit properly.

Brought a book for my cousin, it was a rare find at super cheap price. Their books section was really interesting, wish that was same for everything else there. The staff was friendly and helpful:)

My only frustration with this location is the guessing game that gets played when purchasing books. In theory prices are set based on cover prices or type of book. In practice I've had cashiers guess at cover prices, charge children's books as adult books, and charge different prices for identical books. Sometimes I have the mental stamina to point out mistakes with pricing, but usually not. Better to expect to pay max price for each book and come away feeling like a winner when anything rings up as less. It is only with items from this one department that this issue happens, but it's also the only department where they don't preprice the items.

I went with my Mom today she's seniors her English not strong the cashier told her 2 days for exchange no return for an item that was bought yesterday, there's a rude Manager with stink attitude does not want to do exchange today she was out of control and she raised her voice who ever put her in that position needs to teach her that customer always right and teach her to be nice and friendly

I love Value village as they have decent prices, as some things tend to be a bit over priced.in certain departments such as, bags or children's clothing. They have a great selection of general adult clothing and I can find tons of shirts and pants as well as shoes, although they tend to be over priced as well.they are used they shouldn't exceed more than $10 but some I've seen can be up to 30 /$. I also sometimes have to wash almost four times I understand it's not their fault but if something smells absolutely disgusting then they should not put it on the shelves with other clothing as the smell definitely lingers. I also find that sometimes if an item is wrecked or defective they have a hard time giving a lower price or a discount back on a return as it is a second-hand clothing store and run by donations I find that a bit odd but overall good store and I will continue shopping here.

Value village is a must. You need time to look, but you'll always find steals of deals when you go. This one is even better than one I went to in Edmonton! Highly recommended.

Always seem to find something here, be it clothes or picture frames or nice blanket for our dog's bed and the price is always right

Busy store.its starting to be less "Value. " Still, the selection is COBSTANTLY rotating so its worth returning often!

Good value with a wide variety of items to choose from. I learned that I need to check over clothes closely before purchasing, as a pair of pants and shorts I picked up for my son had holes in them. Fortunately I could exchange them for other items. Just don't remove the tags from anything until you've made sure you want to keep them. They were nice enough to do an exchange on the shorts, even though I had removed the tag before I saw the damage, but they usually won't.

Nice, but the people making the price don't seem to know the prices of things. It's all over the place and sometimes steeper than new stuff. Just saying.

It is the smaller of the two Value Village stores located here in Saskatoon. They once had the best clothing selection, not anymore and the way the stores are laid out it is a bit sporadic. *NO DRESSING ROOMS AT EITHER LOCATIONS* meaning if you do buy something better hope it is something you’ll fit.

I absolutely love this place. I could spend hours in value village. Nice clothes. I always find what I'm looking for. It is my favorite place to shop.

Typical Value Village. Saskatoon? Winnipeg? Vancouver? Calgary? They are all the same. Kinda over priced but you find something.

A large selection of items, but the clothes are way overpriced. They sell things as if they are Gucci. They're not. Everything else is a bargain! And almost all of it is in good shape! Lower the price of the clothes and it's a 5 Star Store.

Most of the stuff was out dated, and priced very high, compared to the faithful dr. Value Village this store is juat waste of time and money.plus very poor customer service.

Not a very good selection and staff all seemed miserable. Prices are definitely much better than in Ontario but certain things are still pretty overpriced.

Has declined a lot in recent years. They no longer give decent coupons with donations, the loyalty program has gotten worse, and even during the pandemic, they refuse returns and only have a complicated exchange process. Plus it's harder to find any decent items anymore with people scalping anything of value. Mostly a waste of time & energy nowadays.

Has good products and the staff are always really friendly. Have never had a bad experience:) really enjoy shopping here!

Very good service but $12.99 for a beat up shirt is highway robbery. No one should support these stores. Absolute rip off.

Value Village is a second-hand store. It is as clean as secondhand stores can get. Put lots of hand sanitizer on because there are lots of germs on everything.

Wayyyyy to expensive store, when everything is a donation. Broken belt straps on S!? T jeans and they still post $15.00 for example. I love the 2nd hand concept but this store is abusing Saskatoon's citizens generosity.

Customer service is amazing. They helped me load a giant Christmas tree into my tiny car. Also the items at the Stonebridge location are superior. Didn't give 5 stars because the items are overpriced for second hand.

Fantastic place, and very good condition products, The staff is attentive and friendly, I recommend the place, you will find everything, at a very affordable price

Plenty of room between the racks and lots of choices thankypu to the people who donate so my kids can have some nice things

Variety of stuff. The clothing is almost two thirds of the store. But they have a very large collection of books. The furniture and home appliances are based on your luck of what is available, but they are definitely worth a shot. They also have toys, printers, table top games, jigsaw puzzles, paintings replicas and lamps

Well run store, good displays and lots to choose from. You can get some good deals on expensive clothing but some inexpensive items are priced almost as high as new. Be sure yo know your prices.

Bought all my school supplies here. The binders were dirt cheap and I found a bag of pens and pencils for three bucks. Cost me all of twenty dollars when everything was said and done!

I used to buy a lot of music from Value Village. I've come accross some great stuff in the past. One time, no joke, I found a copy of Shawn Mullins' "Souls Core". It's an album that contains the smash hit "Lullaby".

Lucky for me I was able to scoop it up before anyone else could get their hands on it. I hustled up to the till to pay for it and when the cashier asked me if I wanted a bag I promptly told her that it wouldn't be necessary as I walked outside the building and put that CD directly into the trash. Right where it belongs.

I saw people dropping off clothes there and there was a lot of clothes that was being dropped off Andy staff member said to the people all thank you we have some good stuff here that will be able to sell. That goes against all theory of Value Village that I have it's supposed to be non profit I get that but when you go inside and a jacket is on sale for 2999 that's crazy considered they got some stuff for free come on Value Village and the staff there watch you like a hawk like you stealing something and I've never stolen a bubble gum in my life. I'd rather go back to a nice retail place and gives a hard-working business owner in Saskatoon the business rather than give Value Village another dime in my pocket shame on you Value Village for telling customers dropping off clothes that you have a very nice stuff here and that you'll be able to sell it that's just gross I'm thoroughly disgusted and I'll be phoning at office because this is a scam Value Village is a scam and nothing but a scam who do they support no one support themselves bunch of jerks

Dont like that they get everything for free and sell at retail prices for used items. Only donate the bare minimum to charity.if that. This is a corrupt chain.

I usually like VV. But lesson for me, don't go at Halloween. 1/2of the regular stuff was moved out to make way for Halloween, which I don't celebrate. Wasted trip this time.

The store is organized and clean the staff is very nice! Some stuff is a little over priced for being a second hand store! But i still enjoy shopping there and so do kids they like to shop there before they would go to regular clothing store! They like the fact that they can get more items then to shop and get something brand new and it being expensive!
