Ventana Apartment Homes and Townhomes

This was my old review and I just wanted to add to it. I still love it here! It's nice and quiet and it's almost all families, younger and older. They are great for people who have pets of almost every size! There is a nice little back yard and front yard. Also not many places have TWO parking spot! My husband and I love it and we hope to be here for many years to come! This place is one of the best places I've been honored to rent. The maintenance people are amazing! I've rarely had to wait more than a couple days, because weather and holidays, for them to come. I will always recommend living here!

I can honestly say you guys responded to every concern I've expressed here and the place is looking better all the time. The area is extremely noisy at night with traffic noises (I can't wait for winter and no motorcycles) but otherwise I am really enjoying being on the third floor. I am posting a picture of my view below me: this guy has never used an ashtray once since moving into your building. It just builds resentment along with the fact that I can't open my window when he's home. Gross.

The townhouses were okay, the yard was small with huge trees above that have giant branches falling constantly on windy days and the tree above my house was never trimmed. I left that house with the yard and the inside of the house much cleaner than when we moved in. We had no holes in the walls and damage to one door that they took off 100 bucks for. But to take a few hundred bucks for "vacuuming and the upstairs being dusty" when it was far cleaner than when moving in is just plain scummy. Also there was a big blue stain in the basement rug when I moved in that I got rid of, your welcome.

Nice Building clean and quiet seems to be well maintained and from the people I have spoken with they are happy living there

Visiting a relative who lives here. The complex seems clean. There is a park in the middle of the townhouses, which is great for the families living in this area. One suggestion I would have is maybe to post a map at each entrance as it is hard to find some of the townhouses.

I want to express my gratitude to the Ventana maintenance department.they are truly the best! Very professional and friendly. The respond quickly to maintenance requests.
For instance, this last Sunday I had an issue with my hot water tank. The on-call maintenance man, responded within the hour! And such a nice man! The entire maintenance team are amazing
Serena, and her office should also be recognized for being extremely professional and are always quick to solve any issues, and answer any questions. Their level of professionalism and politeness is the best I've seen, in the 4 years that I have been a tenant at Ventana. Thank you Serena and Ventana staff!

It's not a bad building overall, it's well kept, very clean, decent staff. I just have a couple personal issues.
-It's not a great place if you suffer from a sensitivity to noise. More times than not it's a very loud building ie Fairlight Drive, noisy neighbors, other tenants using the hallways as playgrounds, so on.
-If you are allergic/sensitive to pot like I am, it seeps threw the walls and hot boxes my bedroom & bathroom. I have reported this and I was just told that people are allowed to smoke on the balcony. My bedroom & bathroom are not near the balcony.

Fails to disclose important information like the restricted dog policy or the cancelation of applications without notice.

Very disappointing. Issues have not been addressed after talking to maintenance multiple times and putting in service requests leads nowhere. I have a spot in my floor I cannot even place anything on, and multiple outlets that do not even work. They will not do anything about it. I would not recommend. Would rate 0 if possible.

My family & I have been living here for almost 2 years & have not had any complaints! The staff are all very kind & accommodating. Anytime we need any kind of servicing to our apartment the maintenance men are quick to respond & are always very polite. I have & will continue to recommend Ventana Apartment Homes to anyone looking for a place to call home.:)

Not sure when my previous review was posted, so here goes.

I’ve nothing but positives to lay say about my stay at Weidner (Wellington & Ventana) and would whole heartedly recommend this to every one. I especially commend the office staff for their friendly demeanour and the maintenance staff WHO KNOW WHAT THEY’RE DOING.

9 out of 10, keep it up VENTANA

I’ve called Ventana home since July of 2019. Since moving in here any time I have an issue they have not only responded promptly but professionally. The staff is wonderful. They genuinely care about the tenants and the space.
Continuously they check up on and keep us informed of changes and or emergency situations, they’ve honestly been one of the best places I’ve lived and I intend to stay as long as I am able.

Me and my family have been living in these apartments for two-years now, and we have been really enjoying this place so far! Great staff works in the office and whenever we have issues with anything they're quick to help us.

I have lived in Ventana for almost a year now, me and my kids absolutely love our place! Any time we have a problem in the home, (shower, the toilet or whatever it may be) they're always so quick to help and fix things. They're very kind, and understanding! I I definetely recommend Ventana Apartments and Townhouses to families. Such a great community & amazing staff.

I’d have to say that I’m very disappointed with all the bedbugs and having to fight with Ventana to work around that. It was very frustrating. I DO NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE! And when I was trying to leave they were wanting to charge me for things I did. Including cleaned which I got charged for. I also got charged for light bulbs which were all working when I left the premises. While talking to the staff they were rude. When they painted the building which they do every year or other year. They got paint all over our vehicles and didn’t care to do anything for us. I feel like they want to rip everyone off! I rented an apartment previously and they did the same thing. I thought maybe that things would be different but it’s not. It’s worse. I do not recommend to anyone. The place has infestation and we were not informed prior to move I’m.
